this webcomic is soooooo cute!!! i love glimpsing into the lives of these two and their (self-made) chaotic lifestyle and the TOXIC BL REFERENCES OMGGGGG!!! i'm still cackling!!! but my favorite part is that what seemed to be just a charming slice of life BL turns out to be soooo much more.

What a gem ! It had me laughing, crying, blushing and made me think about jinhyeong's life.

This is hilarious. The first couple of episodes are a bit chaotic and poorly laid out, but after it settles in, every single episode made me spit tea. The jokes just keep coming. There's a really good mix of meta 'ha ha, we're all fujoshis here' kind of jokes, and also a bunch of slapstick artistic comedy with the way the characters and scenes are drawn. The dialogue is funny, the plot is funny, and the art is funny. A proper trifecta.
It starts as a really stupid, superficial premise, but then it actually turns into a really well thought out story with actual character growth and communication and life experiences; all without ever stopping the humour.
Overall, this is right up there with Punch Drunk Love for me, especially because it's more sparing with the smut which can get repetitive and boring. I'm so sad that this isn't finished and I don't know what happened to it.

High expectations, it very much lived up to said expectations.
One room ta follows a very episodic format with chapters 1-20 being slice of life style, and honesty I found it somewhat boring. Like was it funny, yes; but was it particularly interesting or special? not really tbh. I appreciate how Jibung put a good number of yaoi insider jokes though. The general premise of Jiyeong being very… interesting and 2 sided was good though.
The strong suit of the series though were definitely the later chapters, however. The latter half of the series follows the past of Jiyeong and Uyun which also reveals the rather large plot twist, being that Jiyeong is lowk using Uyun. Great use of unreliable storytelling tbh as it’s also later revealed that Uyun is in fact, aware of Jiyeong essentially using him.
Overall One room ta was good.

now this story is a real gem amongst all the trashy web novels...
i have a soft spot for this manhwa in my heart, the mc is super relatable and his bf is extremely lovable in all regards. the arc where mc reveals his high school best friend and how they eventually decided to call it quits was very emotionally/spiritually awakening for me (made me realize how similar it was to my own circumstance in certain parallels)
cannot wait to continue reading this when they return in 2026!! i hope the main couple will manage to win over mc's father and mc will stand up to his abusive dad finally!!!!!

one of my favourite reads of the year, it's funny as fuck, i laughed out audibly multiple times. i'm such a sucker for all the nerdy biology references, i love u jibung-nim pls don't go bald. i'm so glad i found these two, they mean the whole world to me now. i went into this relating to uyun but i see sm of myself in jinhyeong now 3 i wish we get to see more uyun-centric arcs in the future, i love my stupid son sm
