1/5 - I probably would’ve appreciated this more as a kid. If you’re an adult, it’s all things you should know.

Short read, but very enjoyable. Each law is written in short digestible chunks easy for people like me with smoother brains. Offers a lot of interesting but probably commonly known things for making life easier, slowing down and finding that peace in life that we often take for granted or never execute on.

Would recommend/10

A quick but very insightful read! This is definitely a book you revisit and reflect on regularly. Some laws are easily applicable while others may take some critical thinking to implement. Would highly recommend to anyone regardless of background

A regurgitated self-help book. No sources or references exist in the book, leaving the reader with no path to retrieve more information if they so wished.

This is more so a book of statements, rather than laws. If you’re going to tell people to be consistent, it would be wise to refer to those in philosophy who have written or spoke about the positives of consistency. Alongside that, one could also provide examples of where consistency has helped others, past or present. Please don’t just say be consistent and be done with it.

One for the skip pile.

This guide delivers bite-sized wisdom on inner peace, with simple but solid reminders like releasing expectations and practice self-forgiveness.

The messages feel like something you’d scroll past on TikTok—motivational and familiar, but still useful.

The downside? It’s short. The actual “laws” take up just 59 pages, and the rest is filled with repetitive reflection questions, making the price feel a little steep for what you get.

If you’re looking for a quick pep talk or daily affirmations, it works. But if you want depth or fresh insights, this one leans more toward a stretched-out pamphlet than a truly impactful guide.

The 44 Laws of Peace offers a collection of simple yet profound rules that feel like a compass for living with more clarity, kindness, and purpose. The brevity of the book makes it digestible, but each “law” lands with weight – whether it's about being present, valuing what matters, or learning to accept discomfort. I found myself highlighting passages and pausing to reflect on how I behave in daily life. It doesn’t just offer advice; it invites honest reflection and change. A Perfect Pocket-Sized guide I’ll return to again and again.

The book everyone should have

So I took each law and posted it on my 1821 productions platform for mental health and traumatic issues of people and definitely it sent a message now I’m actually intrigued by the other stuff after the 44 laws. I considered a nice little pocket Bible.

This is a super quick read and I finished in less than an hour. I wanted something to help me set my intentions for next year, and this was perfect in that regard. I love anything that encourages self-reflection and making wise, thoughtful decisions on how to navigate through life. This was exactly that.

Provides a great mindset shift with strong focus on self control. I thought it was a great read and I think anyone should read it. It can feel a little repetitive with some laws though which is okay. Highly recommend.

The stuff said in this book is helpful, but it’s recycled. That’s the reality with most self-help books now.

Very quick read, I would personally carry this book around in my bag and read certain laws as a quick reminder if I’m faced with a stressful moment

Kinda basic. Many good points. A great book to keep in your pocket and refer back to it every couple of months.

Some wise words in here that many people in this day and age should consider. I would recommend it for anyone trying to make sense of the world, or having trouble finding peace.

I thought the journal entries to be a little bit of overkill at the end but I did every one and they were very healing. 10/10 recommend for perspective.

Good book. Although I usually prefer simplicity, this one could have gone deeper.

This isn’t a long book and some of the content could be written off as common sense, sadly common sense isn’t so common. There is some good wisdom in this book rather most people can benefit from. Shared information is powerful, but only if you process and enact it.
