Elusive Surrender is the third amazing collection of Elusive and Tenacious, the third in this deliciously dark and sinful duet by Via Mari. They are book five and six in the Billionaire Bodyguards series which you will love, love, love.
Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 5) by Via Mari is one of my favourites. There is lots of explosive action and deadly suspense, danger, and secrets. I love the alpha hot and sexy men that go above and beyond to protect. They are sexy and charming, witty, and smouldering, dangerous and deadly.
Sheldon and the team have been assigned to protect Alexis when an extremely dangerous man sets his sight on her. It becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse because he will stop at nothing to get her and will go through anyone to get what he wants.
This is another hot and steamy read and a page turner from start to finish.
Tenacious is the sixth book in this titillating Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. This Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance story is steaming to the point of boiling and has left me wanting more. I have loved the other books in the series, but I think Via has outdone herself with this instalment. I always know I am in safe hands when I get one of Via’s books because her imagination knows no bounds and always gives us a story that has everything needed to make it explode of the page. It is only by sheer willpower that I refrained from turning each page quickly to get to find out what was in store.
Tenacious is indeed the right name for this book where these bodyguards are full of sexiness and alphaness that makes you want to hang on and enjoy the ride and what a ride. With plenty of action and adventure, lots of danger and mystery, buckets full of intrigue and drama, sex trafficking and bad guys, and woohoo, the chemistry and I am not talking about the type in a lab, you find yourself in need of a good stiff drink.
Emotions run rampant as we discover the subtleties that Via has hidden amongst her narrative over the course of the series and just what is in store for us next is anyone’s guess and that is just what I like about her work. Bring it on!

Here are two more books in the Bodyguard series written by Via Mari! She continues to take us all over the world in the fight against sex trafficking, Mafia affiliations, Mafia wars, and trying to protect those that cannot involved in this world. Tenacious is my favorite book in this series! I believe it could be yours as well! These men are alpha males, but in Tenacious, Nick seems more realistic compared to the others. Via wrote him with flaws, he shows more respect to his love, and he is not as alpha male as the others. I know I love a hunky and dangerous MC, but Nick is the one who stands out the most! You will not want to miss the exciting finales in the Bodyguard series! These are the men I KNOW I would want to protect me and mine if it was ever needed in the real world!

This is another explosive hot steamy and exciting book in the bodyguard series! We met Alexi and Sheldon in Chase and Katarina’s stories. Now, it is their turn for their story to be told, which will introduce a few more people we will see again in their stories! The two meet when Sheldon almost plows Alexi over trying to take something back from a guy who is harassing her. Sheldon steps in and quickly neutralizes the situation. When checking the guy out, they discover he is extremely dangerous and into sex trafficking among other things~ Now, he is after Alexi and will stop at NOTHING to get her! All Alexi wants is to buy the salon she works at, help take care of the salon owner, her mom, and friend and roommate Allie. The story will bounce back and forth from Italy to New York. Not only will Sheldon and security deal with the protection of Chase and Katarina but will have to guard Lexi, Allie, Lex’s mom, and the salon owner. Horrid surprises are in store and this man is highly intelligent and has other players in the game as well. Will they catch him? Stop him? Who will get hurt or killed? These books keep getting more exciting and hotter as they are written~ Do not miss out on these series!

He has been paying for her to be guarded because he does not believe that Lexie or she are safe just yet! As they dance around one another, he will have to show her she can trust him, and he is different than those in her past. Allie is an RN who is dedicated to her calling. She has been thinking about Nick for the last month but knows she can never have more than one night with him. She does not do relationships or dating! As she learns more and more about Nick, sees what he does for a living in action, and shows her nothing but respect, loyalty, and honesty, her feelings will start to change. Then, as suspected, people will come for her and Lexie and there are hundreds more at stake if the men cannot come together to save everyone! They have to discover who is at the top of the chain once again and learn who is behind the trafficking in their own backyard! This is the best bodyguard book to date! Nick is not an overbearing Alpha male, and he displays restraint and more respect toward Allie than the other couples had. I thoroughly enjoyed this book much more because it concentrated more on the depth and character development of the characters in the book! Great job Via!

Elusive Surrender is broken up into 2 books: Elusive & Tenacious. In Elusive, it is the story of Sheldon and Alexis. Sheldon is part of a security team (as in the first sets of duets) who accidentally runs into Alexis at a coffee shop and has to save her from an overbearing man. Sheldon has an instant attraction to her and luckily for him, circumstances lead him back to seeing her again. Alexis is a hairdresser who has an abusive past, but also struggling to seek the courage to have the relationship she wants. Alexis too is instantly attracted to Sheldon, but their relationship has to start off business because that “overbearing man” is trying to hurt and kidnap Alexis after she dismissed him. Luckily, Sheldon is in the position to safeguard her while they try to figure out who this guy is and what he wants with his future with her. This is a fast-paced story of a dominant (Sheldon) and a submissive (Alexis) trying to find their way in this entanglement. I enjoyed the story and both of these characters. She was feisty, brave, smart, and driven. He was also amazing in his protective, sweet, gentle, but dominant ways with her.
In the second book, Tenacious, this is the story of Alexis’ best friend, Allie and another member of the security team, Nick. Allie is a nurse at a local hospital who is entangled in this mess too since her and Alexis live together. However, what she didn’t realize is that Nick has been keeping tabs on her safety even when he was away. He has shown interest in her since the first time they met, but she does not want a relationship due to her past. However, when Nick takes over her detail, she starts to feel a connection to him. One night she spills a lot of info after drinking to Nick, and he sees this as his chance for an in. He comes to find out she is into the same type of “playing” as he is and they come to an agreement. They will forgo a relationship and only have a physical one at the club. However, because this “overbearing man” has so many friends they still are dealing with her and Alexis’ safety. When Allie’s life is in jeopardy, along with her friends, and many other women, she starts to have a change of heart. She starts to see Nick for the amazing man he is and things start to change. Again, this was a pretty good book, fast-paced and to the point. Allie can be a little annoying at times with her determination but ends up seeing her ways in the end. Nick, on the other hand, is a great character. He is determined, protective, patient, and good-hearted character.

Elusive - Sheldon and Alexis
Alexis is minding her own business when she drops her card in a crowded café, but when she asks for it back the man holding it is not giving in. Feeling a little brave but uncomfortable she is determined to get the card back as this man gives her the creeps and she does not want him knowing where she works, with that in steps a hunk of a man who deflects the situation and recuses the Alexis.
Sheldon is on the coffee run and stops a lady trying to get back something that belongs to her, with his protective nature he assists but there is something in her eyes that draws him to her and wants to make sure she if safe. Unbeknownst to both of them they have opened a big can of danger which trusts them together.
As they learn more and more about the creepy man in café the more Sheldon is determined to protect Alexis and her closest friends and family but will he be able to keep the attraction to her under wraps to protect her.
Tenacious - Nick and Allie
Allie and Alexis are still being hunted by the trafficking ring and things are about to get interesting for Allie. After having fought hard against the security constantly around them she has come to the conclusion that Liam and Trent aren't that bad but when he walks into the room and announces he will become her close guard Allie is unsure if she could have Nick that close.
From the first moment Nick saw the sassy, fiery Allie he has had this longing to protect her. Although she has fought against it she needs to understand that this is not for fun but to protect her and Alexis from being hurt, killed or kidnapped. When Nick starts to ware down Allie defences and involves himself with her, will they both be able to overcome there trust issues and find true happiness with each other.
OMG I love this author, give me mafia, hunky security guards and alpha males and you have the trifecta in this book. This book is split into two stories and they are amazing.
The chemistry between the two main characters in each book is off the charts and with the added drama, with twists and turns I challenge anyone to not to read this is a couple of sittings. I loved how each character is developed and although these men are dominant alphas they are loving and caring for there sub missive's always.
Each story offers a different aspect to dynamic of the group and is a great read, with a lot of characters now introduced into this world hopefully there is more juicy stories to come and can't wait for the next instalments.

The bodyguards of the wealthiest and deadliest families around are back again, finding the loves of their lives in places they never expected. I love the prose, the dominance, the chemistry, the worldbuilding in this series, and I enjoy quick reads that can make you feel like you're not missing anything in the story.
Alexis innocently and accidentally drops her card when going for coffee. As she stoops down to pick it up, she finds a man has already done so...and he refuses to give it back to her. She keeps trying to get it back so that he doesn't discover personal details, but he is resistant. He is pushy, domineering, and she is getting creeped out. In steps Sheldon to save the day, as he often does as a dominant man. He planned on that being the end of their interaction, but can't seem to find himself ridding his mind of her in a lot of different ways. They work together and learn more about the creep in the cafe, Sheldon realizes he wants to protect Alexis and her family and friends forever. Will he be able to protect them all without his constant thoughts of her interrupting and causing mistakes?
Nick and Allie
Allie is family to Alexis and gets brought into the fray as Sheldon and Alexis discover and track the trafficking ring that was introduced in the last addition. Allie is a spitfire and has no idea just how dangerous the ring and it's people can be, so she keeps trying to dodge the bodyguards and go about her life. When Nick appears to tell her he will be sticking around to keep her safe, she's unsure if she should trust herself around him...he's too hot, too intense, too everything. Can she resist? Nick decided to jump in when Allie proved to be too much for his fellow alpha male bodyguards. He tries to get her to understand just how dangerous this trafficking ring is and the terrible things that can happen, but he'd be lying if he claimed she hadn't stoked a fire in him he can't ignore. When they decide to enjoy each other's company in the midst of tracking the trafficking ring, will either of them ever be able to go back to before? Do they even want to?

Elusive Surrender is the third riveting instalment in the Sinful Duets series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense duet that contains two standalone stories- ‘Elusive’ and ‘Tenacious’.
As always, I love the way Via Mari weaves her stories with plenty of chemistry, sizzle, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, action, mystery, a whole lot of intrigue, emotion, and so much more. I’m always guaranteed of a unputdownable read when I dive into one of her stories, and that’s certainly the case for this duet too.
Elusive:
This is Alexis and Sheldon’s story (whom we have met previously)- where Alexis finds herself in a sticky situation when an international sex trafficker sets his eyes on her and Sheldon is tasked with protecting her. What happens makes for an exciting read.
Tenacious:
Here we join Nick and Allie for their story, picking up one month after they met in ‘Elusive’ (Book #5). Nick hasn’t been able to get Allie out of his head. But he is certain that the danger hasn’t passed- she will definitely need to be protected until the threat can be completely eliminated. But that doesn’t necessarily mean she will fall at his feet. Chemistry sizzles and sparks fly!!! I loved Nick and Allie- and I also loved getting answers in the trafficking story that has been running through the series!
I love that we get a duet, two fantastic stories brought together in one book- it really allowed me to sink my tenth into two enticing stories. I love the Billionaire Bodyguards, and this is a great way to immerse yourself in their world.
So well woven- Via Mari is known for her superb romantic suspense stories and this book showcases that brilliantly. Again, she easily builds the tension and suspense to an all-time high, then throws in a massive amount of combustible chemistry- all the while balancing the intensity with lighter touching moments and heart-aching emotion.

Oh man it’s been a treat to read these duets and while I’m on the edge of my seat to sink ny teeth into the last one I’m also hesitant because I don’t want it to end 😉
This duet has ELUSIVE which is about Alexis and Sheldon while TENACIOUS is about Nick and Allie .

Sheldon and Alexi bring out the unknown hunger in craving in each other for each other and guess what we’re the fortunate souls ( sone would say depraved ) we are to bear witness to this 😉🔥
These 2 kept me on my toes and they were in some tight and dangerous situations , my heart was beating harder than it should at times and it wasn’t just because of the suspense and danger 😉be prepared !

Nick is one of those delectable men that always gets what he wants and Allie is the first to say no to him and not fall at his feet and succumb to his charms but girl you’re not going to be able to fight it for to long have you looked into those eyes 👀🔥🥰
Allie is fiercely independent and has walls around her heart , self preservation and all and with her being a nurse she sees a lot and needs to be able to distance herself emotionally but I don’t think she’s ready for what’s coming get way when her path crosses with Nick’s ….
Nick and Allie are on the same team but fighting different aspects of it , Nick is fighting the traffickers while Allie works with the after effects and they’re in a war of evil and epic proportions which sickens me to the pit of my stomach.
Other than Nick and Allie’s relationship I loved the friendship between Allie and Lexi she’s a real good friend, she’s loyal , honest and supportive, a real keeper !
I just loved this duets and these people have become my tribe ❣️📚

Sheldon and Alexa’s story
I loved this book. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her books pull you in and the characters are steamy and always bring the action. This book is no different. This is the fifth book in this series and I highly suggest reading it from the beginning, it will help your enhancement of this series. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life on each page. They made the story fun and entertaining to read. I read this book in one sitting as it is that great. In this book we get to see Sheldon. He is a body guard that has been assigned to protect a woman from a trafficker. Alexis will put his skills to the test. What he did not expect was the attraction he felt for her. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book. It is worth the pick up!

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up and have read every one of her books. One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to bring the story to life on every page. Her writing skills and attention to details not only give her stories a realistic feel but she makes her characters pop. This book is no different. It is the sixth book in this series which I highly suggest reading all the previous books as they are that awesome. I loved being pulled into the story from the beginning as well as kept engaged to the end. This is a fast paced story that is full of action and romance. The characters are strong and connectable. They give life to the story. In this book we get to see Nick’s story and he is determined to break Allie’s walls down. But the big question remains, will he pick up those pieces? I loved their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is hot and steamy and you don’t want to miss them. This is truly a great story that I loved and I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Once again, Via brings us two books packed with action, suspense and dominant men, ready to protect and possess the women of their dreams. Although I’ve read numerous books about the D/s lifestyle, not many deal with couples who want to continue this dynamic outside the bedroom. Sheldon is a Dom who wants to take care of his woman 24/7, but in his bitter experience few want to give up their independence once the fun is over. From the moment they meet, Sheldon felt the pull of Alexis’s siren call, and although he tried to resist, his gut told him she could be the perfect sub. It’s funny how sometimes two characters simply click, and that was true of Sheldon and Lexie too. It’s one of the things I love about the books in this series; once the men have these women in their sights, they’re all-in and will do everything to claim the women they love. So, when Lexie finds herself in a dangerous situation, it’s the perfect opportunity to surrender control to Sheldon and let him do, what he does best. Of course, it’s not always smooth sailing. Which is an understatement when it comes to Nick and Allie in the second book of this duet, Tenacious. Allie is adamant she wants no part of any relationship and is determined to keep Nick at arm’s length in any way she can. Yet the danger she and Lexie faced in the previous book is far from over, so Nick is sticking close…too close for comfort. Despite her protests, Allie was much softer in this second book and more willing to do as she was told. Her interactions with Nick sizzled with sexual tension, but Nick was looking for much more than sex. So, while Nick plays the long game in his quest for Allie’s affections, events escalate with more at stake than anyone realized and Allie finds herself in the thick of the action, right by Nick’s side.

Elusive Surrender is Book Three in the Sinful Duets Series. The set contains the story Elusive as well as the story Tenacious. It is a romantic suspense with action, danger, mystery, intrigue, suspense, crime, chemistry, passion, and romance. The first story centers around the characters of Sheldon and Alexis. Sheldon is a bodyguard for a prestigious mafia family. When he makes a stop at a local coffee shop with his fellow bodyguards, he finds himself jumping to the aid of a beautiful woman. Alexis is a hairdresser from a salon down the street from the coffee shop. When she drops her business card on the floor, a creepy customer picks it up and tries hitting on her. Sheldon happens to be walking by and immediately jumps in to save Alexis and chases the creep out of the coffee shop. Both Sheldon and Alexis feel an instant attraction to one another. When Alexis becomes the target of a sex trafficker Sheldon is determined to protect her at all costs. A game of cat and mouse ensues as the sex trafficker is also determined to have Alexis at any cost. The second story centers around the characters of Nick and Allie. Nick will do anything to protect Allie from those that seek to harm her. Although the two are attracted to one another Allie is hesitant to let anyone get close to her because of being hurt in the past. Nick is determined to prove to her how much he cares for her and that he will never hurt her. Two exquisitely written stories with characters that draw you into their lives and hearts. Strong female leads who you root for, strong men with a soft side that ooze sex appeal, and evil sex traffickers that you hope get what they deserve. The author has a superb writing style with an attention to detail that brings the story to life.

This book is amazing. It has all the brooding, alpha makes that we have all come to love from this series and their fabulous ways that they protect those they love from any danger. This is the continuation of the duets in the Billionaire Bodyguard series and they just keep getting better and better. I love how the author brings that characters from previous books into this, so we can kinda see what they are up to and how they are doing. They don't play a huge roll but even a line here and there makes me feel connected to those characters that I fell in love with earlier on. These books do not let you down when it comes to steam. The characters are what you would expect a broody, over protective, alpha bodyguard to be. I love how the author always makes her women in the stories have a little sass but they know when they need help. They aren't all, "I can do this on my own, I don't need you" or just real ditzy. I love that they have depth and are trying to make something of themselves before they find themselves in hot water, so to say. These books contain the romance aspect, the steam that everyone loves in a romance book, then it also has an amazing storyline. It is like the trifecta of books. You won't be able to put it down and you will feel yourself projecting the emotions of the characters while reading this. Beware, you could snap at someone next to you because you are so emotionally invested in the books. It is a page turner that I couldn't stop reading until it was done. Since this is the third duet in the series, I highly recommend reading them in order so you have the background of some of the characters but you would be able to start with this one and go back to the others if you wanted to. You wouldn't be lost or have an issue figuring things out.

Despite the dark themes, I absolutely love this series. These books are crazy, insane, and filled with so much passion that just sucks the reader in. Elusive Surrender is the 3rd duet I’ve read in this series, and I finally get it. Why is each duet partnered together? I can’t believe I didn’t realize it, since it was obvious.
What makes them insane is all the books are happening simultaneously. So these men are all part of the same security company, and they are stretching themselves thin. While dealing with the threat and not letting a woman go. Even if she wants to go.
Elusive is Alexis and Sheldon’s story.
While Tenacious is Allie and Nick’s story.
Normally I’d give a slight breakdown but these stories don’t complete in one and go to the other. It’s on going with a couple switch midway through essentially. Traffickers are out for Alexis and Allie and if they can’t pull them in, then they are a loose end that needs to be dealt with. These books navigate the security put into place for them, while these dominant men want to claim and protect them. The biggest difference is Allie has already invested herself in that lifestyle vs Alexis is attracted to the lifestyle but it’s more of an introduction.
The other thing I noticed was Elusive started before Jay and Sasha’s story. And Tenacious came after Matt and Marenah’s story. Which are part of a duet in this series. In saying that you really should read them all. They are connected and sometimes one of the duets can fill in pieces of a previous one.

This series just continues to get better and better. Elusive was a fantastic 5 star read, I loved every single minute of it! I love this author, she had such an amazing writing ability, her stories are just an absolute pleasure to read – she creates some brilliant characters and I am always completely absorbed in their story. I love Sheldon, he was definitely book boyfriend material! I loved Sheldon for her dominance but Alexis was certainly one who could hold her own but the passion and sparks between them was off the charts! Their story is definitely a steamy one!! Fantastic read and highly recommended!!
Tenacious – Allie and Nick
Yet again another 5-star read from Ms Mari – absolutely love her books! Allie and Nick’s story was so captivating to read. I loved them both so much. I think they are definitely my favourite couple from this series (and I have loved all the previous ones too)! There was so much going on in this story that I literally could not put it down and read it in one sitting! I cannot wait to read more from her in the future and I certainly recommend this 5-star book to other readers!

This duet tells us the story of Alexis and Allie, best friends and roommates. When Alexis accidentally captures the attention of a trafficker, it puts both women in danger. The high paced action through both books keeps you reading.
Sheldon gets involved with Alexis when a near miss slap stops Sheldon in his tracks. Sheldon is attracted to Alexis immediately. Sheldon knows that the man harassing her in the coffee shop is not the kind of guy to mess around.
Sheldon finds a way to keep Alexis close, even varying her hired by the big boss for a hair styling gig. One night on the way home from her salon, Alexis had a car accident which results in a trip to the ER where Allie works. Nick was the first member of the team on the accident site and goes with Alexis to the ER where he meets Allie.
Allie is a tough as nails ER charge nurse that has been hurt before and isn't into a relationship. Playboy Nick has met his match in Allie. Nick isn't a relationship guy either but is willing to take a chance for Allie.
While Alexis and Allie are in the crosshairs of the trafficking organization, Sheldon and Nick stay close. Falling for their respective women was easy, getting the women to agree to anything is hard. Through it all, each couple builds their bonds.

I have read a few books from this author and let me tell you I’m a huge fan. This is the third book to the very addictive sinful duets. I love a good romance story but getting two is amazing. I was able to put this book down until I finished with both couples. I could not help loving all the characters inside this book. I also love that she wrote both characters pov. I can’t wait to see what she writes about next.
Sheldon knows how to protect anyone. It is after all his job. So when he sees a girl at the wrong place at the wrong time he acts with no second thought. When he finds out that Alexis is wanted by one of the worst men he steps up to help her. Sheldon gets to know Alexis and he feels something he has never felt before. She is his light when he is in the dark. He knows it is a job but he can’t help falling for her. Will Sheldon find the one he has been looking for or will they end up in danger they can’t fight?
Nick loves his job which is to protect the innocent. He also knows the ladies very well. Nick can have any woman that he wants until he meets the beautiful Allie. Nick feels something for her he has never felt before. He tries to get to know her but she is a little standoff towards him. When he finds out that she is in trouble due her best friend he knows that he now has to protect her. Will Nick break down Allie’s walls or will the past break them apart?

He is a hot Dom looking for just the right submissive, but is Alexis the one to fit all his needs? They meet under unusual circumstances but the attraction is immediate.
Alexis is a spitfire! While an independent woman, she does have a submissive side to her, but will it be enough for what he is looking for? As for Sheldon, while he is all alpha, there is a soft side to him as well. When an outside force threatens Alexis, Sheldon is determined to help and protect her in any way. But is that what Alexis wants? These two most definitely belong together. Their chemistry is sizzling and their banter will make you laugh at times. I’m a lover of this series and this story definitely tops my list of favorites from it. Trust me, you want to read this!

Elusive:Dark Millionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is such a brilliant and intense series that somehow just seems to keep getting better. This book had everything going for it - amazing characters, strong chemistry and brilliant writing. It is fast paced and exciting from start to finish. The characters don’t have a typical start to their journey but it is one that hooked me immediately.
Via Mari is an author I only discovered relatively recently but she has easily become one of my go to authors. Whenever I see a book with her name on it I don’t hesitate to give it a go and I am never disappointed. This is a fantastic series and one I would highly recommend!
Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is a fantastic series that just gets better with each book. This has easily become my favourite book in the series, although I'm sure that will only last for as long as it takes to read the next one.
This book really is brilliant from start to finish. I could not put it down once I had started reading, I was far too engrossed in the characters and their story.
This author knows exactly how to create a gripping book. Each one I read is exactly the same and I never hesitate to pick up a book by her. This is a series that i would highly recommend.
Via Mari is an author I only discovered relatively recently but she has easily become one of my go to authors. Whenever I see a book with her name on it I don’t hesitate to give it a go and I am never disappointed. This is a fantastic series and one I would highly recommend!
Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is a fantastic series that just gets better with each book. Elusive Thank goodness Sheldon was there when Alexis was getting harassed by some crazy man in a coffee shop. Alexis didn’t realize then but, Sheldon was going to be around a lot. Luckily she’s a hair stylist and Sheldon needs one for one of his clients. This book was crazy. I can’t believe the stuff that happened in the book. Sheldon and his team are my hero’s! I need more books by this author soon
Tenacious was just so good. I have read a few books by this author but this has got to be my ultimate favorite. This author knows how to give the readers a perfect balance of heat and mystery. This book can be read as a stand-alone if you wanted to. I would recommend reading all the books in the series as they are all great reads.

Another entertaining two book collection of dark mafia romances, with plenty of drama and suspense to keep me happily turning the pages. I love these ‘duet’ books as I can ‘binge read’ the series! Sheldon and Alexis’s story is one of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which is what happens to Alexis. Sheldon is a bodyguard to wealthy billionaires and the Larussio Crime Family, and so recognises the danger she’s in before she does. A criminal sets his sites on Alexis and so Sheldon steps in to recue her, as she causes his protective and possessive instincts to kick in.
In book two, Nick is a wealthy member of a security team which protects billionaires and Mafia men and is used to getting what he wants. Then he rescues Allie who both takes his breath away and has a sassy mouth, but she’s weary of men and keeps him at a distance. However, Nick is determined to break down her defences, and when she’s in danger from criminals he will protect what is his. These two stories are both engaging, and the storylines had me hooked throughout. The characters and settings come alive through the descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in the stories. I love the dark romances but also love knowing that each couple will have a guaranteed happily ever after!

Well she's done it again. This book was everything I have come to expect from a book by Ms. Mari. Romance, suspense, danger and some incredible hot moments.
I wasn't sure if Sheldon and Alexis were a good fit. But as I got deeper into the story I could see they were more perfect than I could have expected. How Sheldon didn't throttle Alexis I will never know.
All of these guys are absolutely the Alpha males of all Alphas. Not a single one of them doesn't exude it and I love reading how each one of them is getting snared by these women.

If only one of these young, hot, wealthy dominant males needed a mortgage and happened to have me as their loan processor. But since that will never happen I will live vicariously by reading this series instead. Now we have six of the guys who have found love and I hope we have several more.
I loved the back and forth between Nick and Allie and how they fought the attraction, well she more so than he. Thankfully love won.

This duet is an awesome read that I had a hard time putting down. The first book in this duet is Elusive. Alexis and Sheldon's story is one you don't want to miss out on. The second book in this Duet is called Tenacious and is Nick and Allie's story. Both of these stories contain danger, action, strong men and women who have found themselves in a dangerous situation. I have loved everything I have read by this author and this series is no different. Each of these books are filled with great characters. I am kept at the edge of my seat while turning pages. I became completely invested in the outcome of these characters' story. I know that everytime I pick up a book by this author I will not be disappointed. Every book in this series kept getting better. I am always intrigued by the story line and kept entertained throughout the entire book. I highly recommend reading this, and the entire series you will not regret it. I can't wait to read my next book by this author.

Holy wow. So much to unpack in this, but without giving anything away... Lets just do this. First, while this is the 3rd in the Sinful Duets, you can read it alone, but you really should read the other 2, so you get all the backstory. It really helps to understand the stories better, plus, they're just really good... Also, if you LOVE broody men and sassy women, you're gonna love these stories. Our ladies are smart and sassy, and our men are fierce and strong and PROTECTIVE.. (and SEXY) but shhh, I didn't say that. **wink** Anyway. You're not going to want to miss this book *or the other 2*.
They are full of all the feels. All the emotions. Lots of suspense, a little human trafficking, some BDSM... I mean, if you're not into that stuff, you may not like these stories as much, but it's not like hard core, so maybe just be forewarned, they're in the story before you give it a go.

I haven’t come across another author that crafts such flawless stories the way that Via Mari does. This book definitely brings the steamy scenes, but the author doesn’t rely on those scenes to be the sustenance of the book. The storyline is one full of adventure, drama, danger, emotions, suspense, and yes, definitely some spice. Do yourself a favor and clear your schedule when you pick this up because I lost a couple days’ worth of time! I simply could not put it down, so chores fell to the wayside. One major thing I have loved about this series is the fact that it just keeps improving with each book. You’ll want to read more about Sheldon and Alexis in the first part, and then Nick and Allie in the second. I enjoyed the extremely well-developed characters as well as the flow of the story. I can’t think of anything that I DIDN’T like throughout this entire read. I highly recommend picking this up as well as the rest of the series!

Once again, we get two books in one. This is fantastic!
Elusive: A chance encounter changes both their lives. Sheldon stops a jerk from harassing Alexis but something doesn’t sit right . After doing some checking, he finds out that the guy is a well known human trafficker and murderer. Sheldon knows that he needs to protect Alexis because the guy will never stop trying to take her. This was an action packed story filled with danger and suspense.
Tenacious: This is Allie and Nick’s story. Allie is a headstrong, independent nurse who is used to getting her own way. Nick knew that she was the one the moment that he laid eyes on her. He just needs to convince her since she wants nothing to do with him. The story will hook you from the beginning with all the action, danger and romance.

Sheldon and his team are tasked with protecting Alexis and it quickly goes from a job to an obsession when danger threatens Alexis in a huge way. Sheldon shows no restraint in teaching those that threaten her a lesson. She's HIS, only HIS and he'll go to any lengths necessary to protect what's his.
TENACIOUS, this book is definitely aptly titled because Nick is absolutely nothing but tenacious when it comes to Allie. This is a dark, dirty and downright delicious story that completely consumes you from the start. Elusive Surrender is just the books that causes it's readers to indeed surrender.

This was a great 5 star read. I am really enjoying this series and the alpha males. This author has quickly become a must read for me. Her writing pulls you right in. I have loved all of the characters and their stories. Alexis and Sheldon meet when Alexis finds herself in need of a bodyguard. Sheldon fits the part very well. Will Sheldon be able to keep her safe?
Allie is a friend of Alexis. She is a nurse and I really liked her. She definitely stands her ground. She finds herself in the same danger as Alexis. When Nick and Allie meet, sparks fly. Can he help keep her safe? Overall I really enjoyed this book. I really enjoyed all the characters ,they all added a great element to the story. Elusive Surrender (Sinful Duets Book 3) by Via Mari. I love this author so much and I enjoy everything she writes. This book was no exception. These 2 additions were amazing. In Elusive I loved Alexis and Sheldon. Alexis is little more independent than Sheldon wants as he is looking for a submissive but she has all the other attributes he's looking for. When someone wants to harm Alexis, Sheldon will do whatever it takes to protect her. Sheldon is such a great guy and the chemistry between him and Alexis is sizzling. In Tenacious, Allie & Nick have such chemistry but Allie doesn't want to be hurt and doesn't want to end up a single mom like her mom was. Nick is a dominant but he is crazy about Allie and has such a soft side with her. He will do anything in the world for her if only she would give him her heart! These are such good reads and I can't wait for the next!
