Die Reihe um Estella und Rodrigo mag ich sehr gern; sie hat Humor und ist nicht zu schnulzig. Sonst würde mir glatt mein Katzenfutter… *hust*
Im dritten Band verändern sich nach und nach die Kriegsgrenzen; Feinde werden zu Verbündeten und eigentliche Verbündete zu erbitterten Feinden. Das war in gewissem Maße zu erwarten. Doch was steckt hinter alledem? Das ist die große Frage des Abends. Doch werden all die offenen Fragen bereits im dritten Band geklärt? Man kann als Leser zumindest darauf hoffen, dass ein Teil der Fragen geklärt wird.
Zudem treten immer wieder ein paar neue und geheimnisvolle Nebencharaktere auf, deren eigentliche Rolle unklar ist und was ihr Ziel ist. Ich mag es, dass Estella sich nicht unterkriegen lässt, sondern kämpft und immer wieder nach einem Ausweg sucht. Selbst wenn es regelmäßig ausweglos erscheint. Und mit so einem unglaublichen Shutdown endet Band 3. Absolut gemein und hinterhältig. *miauz*
Ich finde es zwar toll, wie sich die Beziehung zwischen Rodrigo und Estella entwickelt, dennoch gibt es mir in gewissem Maße viel zu wenig wirkliche Kommunikation zwischen den beiden. Ich habe das Gefühl, der eine weiß manchmal gar nicht, was der andere macht. Das kann im weiteren Verlauf durchaus zu einem nicht unerheblichen Chaos führen.
Und was soll das mit Stefan und Hela? Warum wird Gilther nicht…? Unglaublich. Es gibt so viele Dinge, die ich wahrscheinlich anders gemacht hätte, aber dann wäre die Story an einigen Punkten nicht ganz so düster wie sie es nun ist.
Es gibt so einige Punkte und Fragen, die mir echt auf der Seele brennen und bei denen ich hoffe, dass sie im letzten Band geklärt werden. Und auch, ob alle die Charaktere, die man liebgewonnen hat, auch überleben. Bisher sieht es nicht danach aus. Ich bin gespannt.
Die Entwicklung der Story ist ungewöhnlich und durchaus interessant. Doch einige Aspekte wirken für mich zu künstlich und ziehen die Geschichte wie Kaugummi in die Länge. Das ist nicht mein Ding und ich mag solche Sachen überhaupt nicht. Ich hätte mir eine andere Form der Konfrontation gewünscht und nicht mit diesen Ränkespielen, die letztlich keine wirkliche Funktion haben – außer die Charaktere in den Wahnsinn zu treiben (und den Leser gleich mit).
Ein guter dritter Band, der auf ein explosives Ende der Reihe hoffen lässt. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt. Besonders, wenn ich den Gesichtsausdruck meines Frauchens sehe. Sie sieht irgendwie sehr skeptisch aus und ist sich sehr unsicher, ob die Reihe zu ihrer Zufriedenheit beendet werden kann…

Losing strength.
It was an easy read but interesting enough to hold my attention and funny. If you take this story seriously you will be disappointed because it’s a little too silly and over the top, but that makes it fun. There wasn’t much character development but the plot moves right along without too much depth. Don’t expect an epic tale, have lower expectations and be pleasantly surprised by its simplicity. This is book 3 of 4 and I’ve read 1-3 because the 4th hasn’t come out yet. If you haven’t started, think about if you want to spend nearly $10 per book 4 times for 1 completed story. And then add these words of caution — book 3 didn’t make as much sense and was a little hard to follow. I don’t know if the book was translated to English and this is the translator’s fault or the author wrote it in English and decided to give up on cohesive story telling by book 3. But Book 3 was a little bit of a let down.

I hate cliff hangers
OK I enjoy this book, I enjoy the novel series… But I hate it when they stop in the middle of the story and say continued you’re like just give me the whole freaking book. I mean I enjoy the character she built the story. lines are funny and cute, and the characters are hysterical, but Writing half a book is so 19th century. like a serialization and a newspaper. It’s very frustrating… Thank God I’ve got a lot of practice in manga. Can’t wait for the next book so I can figure out what the heck happens in this novel.

A cliffhanger worthy of pulling your hair out!
It makes me happy to see our MC's getting closer and the snuggles make me feel warm and fuzzy for them! The cliffhanger is literally mid sentence and irritating as heck lol! Can't wait for the next volume!
