SERA AND ANDREW DESERVE THE WORLD!!!
Sera happens to meet Andrew, not knowing it's her brand new boss; at a Christmas party of the company she hasn't started at yet. So of course they run a muck and there is Santa and a strip tease. So when she learns of the fact she in fact slept with her bosses boss, she freaks out and leaves. Flash forward 3 years later, Sera is a cover artist for Andrews's family polishing house. She wants to move up in the company and Andrew is back in the country! Andrew forces Sera into a new position at work, basically taking on his job. So when they are forced to live together and spend time together their sparks relight again! But will they last?
This is a well-written story with a big focus on the business aspects. AND SPICY as

I knew from the moment I started this it was going to be a good book. It instantly caught my attention from the effortless way Hart wrote. It was a fun read, and I’m excited to continue the series.
It starts out at a Christmas party where Sera meets Andrew. They instantly connect and escape to have their own adventure. Let’s just say they turn up the heat before they settle in the waters. Anyway, when she finds out that his last name is the same name as the publishing company she just got hired to, she bolts. Three years later, and he “kidnaps” he to impersonate him while he does his own projects. The spiciness is hot, that banter is funny, and the connection between these is electrocuting.
I love how Sera is strong and pure to herself. She knows what she wants and she not afraid to go after it. She knows how to do business but she’s able to have her funny side shine too. And Andrew isn’t one of those guys that is barking orders and flaunts his billions. He lets him emotions shine and doesn’t try to pretend he’s someone he’s not. He’s a fun character who can match Sera’s sass and seriousness. It has the typical love story when it comes to the making up and breaking up, but it’s compensated by the way Hart wrote the story. The characters were so likable and real.
One thing that bothered me was Hart wouldn’t say when there were time jumps but it later makes sense as the book progresses. At first, this confused me but the more you read, the easier it became to understand the jumps.
I didn’t know at the time of me reading this, but it’s the second book in this series. The first one is Phillips story, but I didn’t have a problem following this book. I would say it can be read as a stand-alone.
I hated to see the pages disappear. It was such a fun book to read, and the writing was easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone who likes contemporary office romance with some spice.

I absolutely loved the beginning.
The way the meet, the sense of humor, connection.
I was really enjoying it and thought, yes I found a new favourite writer.
But after they meet again it became boring and to detailed about the business.
I thought I was doing a workshop on business.
So I skipped a lot.
A real shame.

Sera is a cover designer who wishes to advance in her career. Her chance arrives when one of her bosses, Andrew, wants her to help run the London branch of the publishing house. Previously they have had a one-night stand. Now they want to keep it platonic and focus on the business but when they give in to their desires it turns out their focus can be shifted. The romance stands alone but it helps if you've read the previous book about Andrew's brother because this story continues unfolding the complicated family dynamics between the three brothers and their father.
The plot was interesting but a bit far fetched and I am not sure it made complete sense to me. Andrew feels like he constantly gets overlooked and underestimated by his family, and his plan is to teach Sera to do his job and secretly manage his projects while he concentrates on a new development that his brothers (who are also involved in the family business) aren't to know about yet. I don't know, it seemed like an idea that could go spectacularly wrong, depending on how they got caught. Rather than being impressed by Andrew's business acumen, the brothers might easily see the secretive dealing as underhanded and deceptive and never trust him again. Sera has her own secrets that she keeps from Andrew too and trusting each other is a struggle for the two as well.
Steam level: Mild bondage and sexual control. If there is such a thing as too much sex in a story, this book is probably pretty close as there's sometimes very little plot between the steamy scenes and if there's something beyond the physical that they love about each other it may get a little lost. Some of his dirty talk and the names he called her were not to my taste.

I’m almost sorry to have finished this novel. I was so immersed in Sera and Andrew’s world that I’m not sure how I’m going to move on to another book!
Sera meets Andrew, unexpectedly, and they enjoy an unexpected adventure. It is a wonderful memory and remains so, until they meet again three years later. Sera has been working for the company Andrew’s family owns and her hard work has not gone unnoticed. In fact, Andrew has decided Sera is ready for a new challenge. Little do they know, work is not the only challenge they will experience!
This love story is everything! Although there is drama and Sera and Andrew experience the usual break-up/make-up, the world Hart has created is so real that.it doesn’t feel contrived. Their relationship progression is the most natural.
Things I loved:
💕Sera is an independent woman. She doesn’t “need” Andrew, but she does need Andrew 😉
💕Andrew sees Sera’s worth and doesn’t, for an instant, take her for granted.
Things I hated:
❌Andrew’s brothers are jerks. If I hadn’t read previous novels, I would hate them. Luckily, I have and know that they are just as lovable as Andrew. But man. They suck in this story.
A couple things the author might want to consider:
⭐️ If I had not read the previous book, I would have been confused by the lapse of time between chapters and all the things that happen during these lapses.
⭐️ There are a few places, mostly at the end of the novel, where the name “Phillip” is used when I’m pretty sure “Andrew” intended. For the most part this didn’t interfere with understanding, but it is an error that should probably be fixed and it happens several times.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more of Hart’s work.

I loved reading about Phillip and Addie in Boss Agreement and how their characters developed. Now we get to see the ups, downs and spicy angst with Phillip's youngest brother Andrew and Addie's best friend Sera!
Before Andrew's father retired, he had always ran a tight ship, with one son being disowned and Phillip being the son that would take over the company, none of the sons felt like their inputs mattered. With all the changes being made to Loughton's House after Andrew's brother desided to take a step back then return with a fresh mind and implement changes, Andrew was still feeling left out. He's always been "the little brother" and Andrew was determined to make his mark on the family business. He just needed a little help from someone his brother's wouldn't think twice about.
With a top notch lawyer as your mother and a famous rock and roll idol for a father, Sera did not want to ride on their coat tails through life. Inheriting her parents ambition, Sera was determined to make a name for herself, but how do you go about that when you're only qualifications is being a cover artist? Sera knew she needed more experience if she wanted to move up where she wanted to be or even to start her own business. With all the changes happening at Loughton's House, this would be the perfect opportunity to show the brother's she was more than just a current position, but just maybe Andrew's crazy plan to be taken seriously will also benefit Sera as well.
With each of them helping the other out, will Andrew and Sera both get what their hoping for? Can they leave their history in the past? Or will old feeling resurface now that it's the two of them virsus Andrew's brother's? Either way you can't go wrong with all the spice, angst and feels in this book!

This was just ok for me. The beginning was totally disjointed. I had no idea what was happening, and I only realized after the fact that this book is part of a series. It didn’t even flow like a series, though. It was almost as if you had to be reading two books concurrently. The chapters skipped huge chunks of time without telling us how we got from point A to point B. The book flowed a bit more smoothly after Andrew and Sera got to London, but where there was flow, there was lacking chemistry between our two MCs. The dichotomy of Sera’s character didn’t work well for me. It was hard to reconcile the hardcore businesswomen with the screw-it-all party girl she occasionally morphed into. It didn’t feel like two separate parts of one person, it felt like two entirely different people. The relationship was built purely on s@x, which duh, it’s a romance novel, but there didn’t seem to be a lot to their relationship outside of the bedroom. Finally, and this was a huge turn-off for me, there were inconsistencies in details in the book that drove me nuts. A few times, the author says Phillip in place of Andrew. Once would’ve been ok, but to happen multiple times is just plain sloppy. The author also called Luciano “Dante” in a whole paragraph, and the name of a song was inconsistent between chapters.

They make their escape in costume and have one wild night together until she finds out that he's one of the Loughtons himself... and he has a one way ticket to London. Three years later, Andrew is still thinking of Sera and tricks her onto a plane only to kidnap her to London. He needs help to set up a new division in the company and finally prove himself as more than the little brother in the family. He promises her anything she wants in return. He trains her in the business, working long hours and moving her into his guest room. In order for his plan to work, they have to keep things professional but that unforgettable night together is always on their minds. Can they give in to the attraction without emotions getting involved? And can their new relationship survive the secret that she's been keeping?
While the story dragged a little in the middle with business details, Andrew's fun-loving attitude and charm were addictive and kept me reading. I love the laid back feel of their London office. I love that Sera gained confidence and was willing to stand up for herself and what she thought was right even at the risk of losing everything.

Great follow-up to ‘Boss Agreement’. That being said, both books are stand-alone – so if you read this first definitely go back and read Phillip’s story in the previous novel the plots overlap somewhat! I loved this romance between book cover designer, Sera & publisher Andrew; I really enjoyed the way the story starts when they meet by chance at a Christmas party and throw caution to the wind by indulging in a one-night stand. When Sera discovers who her instant ‘fling’ is part of the company where she has her new job (and he’s leaving for London the next day), she sneaks out of Andrew’s hotel room. I liked that time isn’t wasted by the author on soul-searching angst and the plot moves forward three years and Andrew’s return to New York. The story is pacy and full of interesting aspects of the publishing world as the back-drop to the tale, especially when the ‘action’ moves to London. As a UK reader, I particularly liked that the section in the UK had plainly been researched and did not disappoint as is often the case with American authors. An excellent romantic read.

This seems to be my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I loved how Sera and Andrew first meet, it was certainly an adventure with plenty of laughs along the way. But the next morning Sera was shocked to discover who Andrew actually was.
The book then fast forwards three years when they meet up again. Lots of things have changed for the pair, but the attraction is still definitely there.
I liked how Sera wasn’t a pushover and all the while she was still looking after herself. This does blow up for her, but once everything calms down all those involved eventually understand her reasonings. It did make me sad when I was reading this but I was also cheering her on for backing herself.
At the time I started reading this book I was unaware that this was the second book in this series, but I can guarantee that this book does read as a stand-alone. I am also eager to read the first book as there is just enough of a hint in this story that has me intrigued.

Okay as a casual read
This story didn’t really get rolling for me until around 20% through. Up until then, most of the story is a superficial rehash of the previous book from an alternate point of view, without much depth. Even as the story moves past that point, there is a lot of navel gazing, and it could have done with some tightening up and removal of repetition.
The character motivations and convictions become a bit inconsistent and wishy washy after the major confrontation at the end of the story, which is disappointing. Sadly, previously beloved characters aren’t particularly likeable, which makes a certain amount of sense, given the point of view we are seeing the interactions from, but is disappointing nevertheless.
There are some inventive steamy scenes, and as a casual read - a time filler - it works, but I doubt I will re-read it.

3.75 ⭐️ / 2 🌶️
Compared to the other books I have read from this author, I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappointed. The writing style and story telling just didn’t feel the same as others I’ve read.
The premise of the book I love, boss/assistant/co workers/billionare. I kinda liked how the female lead didn’t really care about money cause she has her own, not to his level, but she is well enough off that it doesn’t impress her.
But honestly the conflict or climax, just fell short, and didn’t give me any emotions because honestly, it felt like the big reveal, the reaction of the male lead I thought was reasonable! And I felt like she was the one to not understand when she said the whole time she knew what she was doing wasn’t really… ethical.
The chemistry was there for the most part. It was a one night stand then they reconnect after a few years and have a slow burn. Loved that aspect.

This was an amazing book. It was well thought out and had an interesting plot with meaningful dialogue and steamy interludes. I do think that it would be best if read as part of the series though as there are interconnecting characters and concurrent timelines for some of it. In the beginning especially the author seemed to assume that the reader had not only read the prior book, but remembered all the details.
I thought Sera and Andrew were wonderful together and the chemistry and connection between them was totally palpable. However their relationship was complicated, with a push and pull between being professional and involved plus outside forces working against them. It was a captivating and entertaining read and I can't wait for more.

I LOVED how this book started. Light, fun, and definitely 🌶️🔥
Sera is a strong female who knows what she wants for herself (besides love) and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Andrew is a fun, sarcastic, happy-go-lucky boss. I was rooting for them from day one.
Hart definitely had me on my toes WAITING for the time Sera was gonna accidentally show the Wylder files.
And then Andrew blew me away with his understanding and love for her, willing to QUIT his company to win his woman back.
And I actually love how much she explained all the details of the business and made me feel like I could go open a publishing firm and know what I’m doing.
I will absolutely be reading her other books! ❤️❤️

Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Standalone in an interconnected series so past characters do make a few appearances and obviously the brothers too. Loved the plot and the flow of the story, right from the start I was adsorbed into the story and rooting for Andrew and Sera, they just made so much sense together. This Bossy Terms is the second book of the Billionaire Boss Romance Series by Sylvia Hart. It can be read as a standalone, but is more enjoyable if you read Boss Agreement first because of the interconnecting characters. You'll love Sera and Andrew's story. It's overflowing with drama, some sass and explosive chemistry. They first met at an office party and had a one-night fling. Three years later, he kidnaps her and demands she pretend to be him. A boss reversed situation. Both main characters were well-developed and likable. She was strong and driven, while he was fun. A great book you'll enjoy. Every book captures your attention from the first page. Their meet- cute was just fantastic, the Christmas party and the bachelorette night… and than three years later, I laughed out loud at their new meet-cute: hilarious!
I love all these characters and enjoy their journeys, how they grow closer to each other, how the family dynamics work, how they complete each other. The vibe between Sera and Andrew is so sweet and pure fire.
I can’t wait to read Mason’s story.

Loved this story
BOSSY TERMS is such a good book because Sera is fun, enigmatic and smart. She’s got a unique upbringing that brings a lot to the story.
Andrew is such a charmer. He is also quite a fan of the spicy encounter and the chemistry between this two is hot.
As a boss/employee romance it is unique in that the tables are a little turned and the dynamic for a strong, intelligent woman with a powerful man is entertaining.

Bossy Terms is the second book in the series. It could be read as a stand alone, but I was glad that I had read Boss Agreement first as the time period for the two books overlaps and I'm not sure that I would have entirely understood what was going on with the early events had I not read the other story. There is also overlap between characters, but this book showed a lot of strain in the relationship between the brothers.

This book started out really well. Andrew and Sera had great chemistry and I loved how they met and on his return from London 3 years later it showed so much promise but then the story got bogged down with business and went in depth on how the business works and a lot of it went over my head. I did skip a few chapters as I got bored. But loved the ending . I think the book could have been shorter.

Weird title but I liked the story. I enjoy strong female characters. She wasn’t stubborn or overly emotional or afraid to tell chances or demand what she wanted or to make clear her intentions and her needs. She was prepared to continue living and forge a path forward when everything started to turn to sh*t. And Andrew didn’t have his head lodged too far up his @ss so I didn’t hate him and get irritated when they worked things out. Overall pleased with this.

From the first page this book hooks you in. Sera and Andrew meet whilst at a party, and end up escaping as Santa and his elf. Three years later they meet again.
This book made me laugh at times, learning how they grow as a couple, getting to know each other, and their fiery relationship.

Wowzers ! This started with a bang. A great read and loved the characters. It’s filled with angst and witty, very entertaining. This is a must read for sure.

I Really enjoyed this so much West and laughter! The suspense of the love affair was great ! I also like how Hart includes the other characters from previous books! This is a must read book!

Finally an FMC with backbone!! This book was witty, endearing, believable, and so enjoyable. Great "one night stand with the boss" trope without it being weird. She actually has dreams and goals outside of their relationship and is a character I rooted for the whole way through. Spicy and fan yourself worthy but still has rom-com vibes. Loved it so much and highly recommend! (ARC review)
