I am awaiting volume 3 patiently, spelled anxiously.

I've had high hopes for this volume, but it felt like a filler, without Volume 3 in sight.
I do like the queer rep, the disability rep and of course the firebird, but while reading Volume 1, I got the impression that it's more of a middle grade/YA book and so I am bamboozled by the boobs. (I don't mind them, but if the graphic novel is for an older audience, the story, especially in this installation, is much sillier than it should be.)
I am not sure that I will continue on their journey.

Not sure about this one. It feels a bit … pointless. Nothing happens. I’m also not sure who the target audience is. The story is childish, but some of the art I don’t think is suitable for children. Just a very confusing package overall. Am giving this three stars mainly for the disabled rep.

Just not very good at all. A manga for kids from the dialogue. The art is in the most generic manga house style. Basically 200 pages of fluff.

Just as good as the first one! Excited to see where the rest of the series goes.

This volume moved more quickly than the first, and I still love the art style.
