Her Exile is a dark story with a bada** heroine who got a raw deal in life so my heart was in my throat while experiencing Luna's journey. She was taken from her family as a little girl, and sold to people who created a super assassin to take out organized crime syndicates. There were so many awful things done to her to make her into their monster, but little do they know, these days she's starting to get her memories back so she's about to burn it all down to get her revenge. I felt so much pain on her behalf because of the unfairness of it all, but then life gave her Dario, a man who wants to give her a better future. I loved him as he wanted her no matter what she's done in her past, and he will burn the world down to protect her. It's a good thing he's a strong hero since she learns the truth about her past, and it has the power to bring her to her knees. This story was so good, and I devoured it cover to cover but again, it's dark so be warned. The twists coming in hot kept me guessing, the emotional aspect had me shedding some tears, and the heat was top notch so yeah, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the eighth book in this series. I have only read the book before this one not any of the others. I wasn’t lost at all. The books are loosely connected. Luna has led a horrible life. She was torn from her family and sold by a priest. She has trained to be a killer. She isn’t supposed to remember what happens between missions but she does. She is formulating a way out. Meeting Dario is the final straw. Dario doesn’t care what she has done in the past only that she will be his future. Luna will do whatever she has to in order to protect Dario. This book was a great read. Action packed right from the start. I felt for Luna. Saying her life has been hard is a huge understatement. Dario’s father wants him to follow in the family business but he doesn’t want to. He will do whatever is needed to protect Luna and give her the life she deserves. I have put the other books from the series on my TBR list and have a few of them ready to be read. Fantastic job E.M. Shue I look forward to more books in this series.

This is the story of Luna and Dario. This is also a book on the darkish side and you will want to proceed with caution. Luna is a trained assassin. She is a ghost and really really good at what she does. While she is on a mission she meets Dario. He is a protective guy who knows from the minute he sees Luna that she is going to be his and he will protect her at all costs. Jokes on him though as she is the last person in the world who needs anyone's protection. There is a lot that goes on in this book and I feel like I can't say a lot about the story as I will give something away. There is action and drama. betrayal and vengeance. Love and a whole heap of greatness going on in this book. I loved every single second of reading this book.

This was incredible! Luna is a super-soldier assassin. Experimented on, drugged, shocked and trained to be a brutal, tactical machine. But the haze of drugs and mind control has started to clear, giving Luna glimpses of her true past. Dario encounters Luna at a party and she sets up shop in his heart and mind. When he encounters her again, she doesn't remember him. Intrigue and betrayal combined with one tough chick and the man who stole her heart equals magic. Luna was straight up amazing, like Angel from the Dark Angel TV series. I was totally caught up in their story and didn't want it to end!

This story was a bit different from what I normally read but it really sucked me into it. We have Luna, who grew up being trained to be an assassin. My heart ached for what all she has been through and the hurt she endured. When Dario comes along, her life could change if only they can work together. He doesn't care who she is or what she's done. He knows she belongs with him and sets out to prove it to her. The story kept me hooked with all the twists and turns. Will Luna and Dario come out on top when she learns about her past and what happened? Or will it break her enough that Dario loses her forever?

This is the eighth book in the Mafia Made series and it is one intense action filled dark romance. From a young age, Luna was trained to be an assassin and Dario is being groomed to follow in his father’s footsteps but that is the last thing he wants. When the two come into contact it is like the Fourth of July fireworks as Luna and Dario have chemistry that burns the pages to ashes. Not helping matters is the fact that he is her next mark begging the question, will she or won’t she? This storyline will have your heart palpitating as the pages turn and the story unfolds. It will suck you in and you will not want to put it down until the very last word.

This was insta-love for Dario!

Luna doesn't deserve love. Does she?

Her life has certainly not been her own.

I was rooting for Dario to convince Luna.

Together I want them to take down the Doctor and all those involved with him!

Hard to put down once I started! Luna, Dario, Vittoria and Dante stole my heart! Especially when Luna whispered her words to Dante! And, Dario's protectiveness...swoon!

I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Shue's worlds, her characters, her words!

action-packed amazing betrayal

This is the 8th book in this incredible series, and this is Dario and Luna’s journey. Luna us a trained assassin, who is a “ghost”, and she crosses paths with Dario on one of her missions. Dario is instantly in love with Luna and is protective of her.
This is a well written action packed, emotionally charged story, with drama, truths, vengeance, family, romance, betrayal, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, haunting, twisted, unpredictable, and steamy thrilling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

OMG what a read.
Luna had her life stolen from her and was then trained to be an assassin from an early age.
When she meets Dario on her latest mission something changes in her.
Dario is drawn to Luna and even though he knows nothing about her he knows that he needs to protect her.
Can they ever be together when her controllers will never let her go. She has been sent to kill Dario but knows that she never will.
A must read full of so much drama and suspense but also so much more.
A book not to be missed.

Luna is one of the most strongest, courageous and deserving heroines that I've read. Her story is full of tragic moments but she's managed to carve out a path to her redemption, even when she does not think she deserves it. These men that get to protect and care for their loves are also formidable as well. You have a villain that is evil to their core and it's a pleasure to read of their downfall by our chosen heroine. This book is truly a work of art!

WOW! I must admit that I almost stopped reading this book as there is mention of torture and that is something I just can't read. I almost stopped, but kept going as I wanted to make sure that the two involved ended up getting their comeuppance! That was BIG for me. My heart utterly broke for Luna and all she went through! But wait until she meets Dario! Needless to say, I was smiling at the end. I received an ARC copy.

E.M. Shue has written another amazing story in the mafia/underworld universe. Luna is a trained assassin who meets Dario on one of her missions. Dario is unlike any man she has met before and he’s determined to be with Luna. Things are very heated and this book is action packed with betrayal, intrigue and a heroine that may be battered, but she is determined to win this fight because she’s realizing Dario is worth the fight. Excellent read!

Such a good book. I loved how Luna was such a skilled and bada$$ assassin. She really good handle almost everything all by herself. It was a little shocking about some of the horrible things that she went through at the hands of the Doctor but she was strong and overcame it. I was extremely excited to see a few of the characters from the previous books in this series as well. Can't wait for the next book! I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Her Exile is the story of Luna and Dario. It is part of a series, but each book can be read as a standalone. This book has some darker elements. Luna was kidnapped and crafted into a trained assassin. She is a ghost and is good at what she does until she starts to get her memories back. She is ready to get revenge for all that was done to her and then she meets Dario who opens a side of her that she didn’t expect. I couldn’t put this down….it was twisted and emotional.

This book was so heart wrenching and gave me all the feels! Honestly, it was probably one of my favorite books in the series! I was so excited for Luna to get something good in her life! And I loved how Dario fart to keep her!! I also really enjoyed meeting some of our characters from previous books. I wish this series that EM Shue and KL Donn co-wrote would never end!!

Her Exile by E.M Shue is book 8 in the Mafia Made Series. This is the story of Luna and Dario. I was excited to read the book and so happy that I wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed this book and I hope to read more from this author!

Her Exile is book eight in the Mafia Made series and is Luna and Dario's story. This is heavy and dark at times so please check the TWs. This book is an edge of your seat ride from beginning to end and does not give you a break. I can't wait to see what's next.
