In the bustling city of Henderson, Nevada, Hope Novak co-owns StriveFitness with her sister, Ewa Krupa. The fitness center is a thriving business that offers self-defense classes to empower women. However, the sisters are hiding a secret that has made them stronger than they appear. Hope's life takes a turn when she meets Celia Mendonca, a high school student who wants to earn money for her prom dress. 50 books3 followersBefore becoming an author, Daniel Pelfrey followed many career paths over the years. He’s served in the United States Air Force and worked in government at the TSA as a supervisor at one of the busiest airports in the United States.
From there, he tried his hand at blackjack, as a dealer, Daniel thinks it’s too risky to make a living as a gambler.
Daniel next entertained the idea of becoming a teacher and returned to college. He graduated, but teaching ended not in the cards. A Bachelor of Science in History from Black Hills State University, in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, is how Daniel completed his education. He’ll be the first to say it’s really just a license to B.S. in History.
Daniel has also spent several years in seasonal jobs in places ranging from Mount Rushmore in South Dakota to Mammoth Lakes, California, and finally Medora, North Dakota, where he currently lives.

Don’t let the bad guys win – ever!
Build up your strength, do your due diligence, gather your crew, craft your plan.
Thank you to the author for writing a book about ‘empowering women and ensuring their safety’. Let’s start with our daughters, nay our sons, so that females no longer need protection from males.

Protector: A Hope Novak Thriller (Hope Novak Thrillers Book 3), my seventh read from author Daniel Pelfrey. A 237-page organized crime thriller, the third in the Hope Novak Thrillers. “I received a Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with Paladin: A Hope Novak Thriller (Hope Novak Thrillers Book 4) next on my TBR list and Ghost Town (Hector Ramirez Thrillers Book 4) due out in November of this year. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

A compelling story with terrifying moments as the plot thickens that will have you flipping the pages at warp speed and crossing your fingers wanting the best out come for the ladies. About the story: Two strong women Hope & Ewa own a gym that not only strengthens ladies physically, but also mentally to be able to kick Keister when it calls for it. I'm leaving a lot out of my review so it doesn't ruin it for other readers, but I will say with certainty this book will knock your socks off.
