But global warming takes a back seat when a more immediate threat terrorists threaten to sink the ship. Now, the Trident Force must infiltrate before the plot ends in the dark freezing deep.
This book sets up reasonable backgrounds on characters, and provides decent ideas for the plot... But somehow it's all very bland. The action never feels very exciting. The characters have minimal flushing out, but I never cared about any of them, so nothing felt very important.
Not really my type of book (politics/navy/terrorism) but interesting storyline in which the reader already knows the mystery that the characters in the book are trying to solve.
