Wedded Witch is a ‘why choose’ standalone novel as part of The Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow shared universe series - full blurb coming soon!
Wedding witch was such a good story, with literally a runaway bride Swyn as the main character who's determined as ever to break a curse that's been threatening her and her family for so long. She'll go to speels hallow with the help of her ancestors who'll guide her on her way, and she'll meet Kel, Sol, and Ri. Who are totally different from one another. Kel is the sweet one and more lade back. Sol keeps everyone together. Ri, a bit sarcastic, but I absolutely loved his cheekyness when it came to Swyn. And who wouldn't love three hot triplets to keep you company. Speels hollow felt a lot more spooky with shadows lurking around every corner and dark magic waiting to strike at any minute. And as always, it's an epic battle between good versus evil along with amazing characters, which I just loved. You have Oland, the husband who's been forced into a marriage and three hot triplets who will do anything for Swyn. Then you have the batty Mavis who's so funny and loves leopard print but under her touch exterior is a heart of gold and keeps the boys in check and who can forget the sweet little puppy which made me swoon for the little guy. Then you gave me that ending, which was touch and go, and at one point, wasn't quite sure how things would pan out. But followed with the most heart-felt and emotional ending, which I absolutely loved, along with a bonus eclipse, which was super hot. I loved it.
I really enjoyed this book. I gobbled it down in a single sitting because once I started, I wasn’t prepared to stop. I was really impressed with all the growth and change Swyn went through while finding her mates and breaking the curse. However, I’m just putting this out there, I personally think Oland got horribly shortchanged in this book. He’s the first one to meet Swyn but got the least amount of time to spend with her. Not to mention all the terrible thoughts that were thought about him. I loved Kel, Ri, and Sol, it’s just that the deck felt a little stacked in their favor. Though, I’m kind of obsessed with the little family unit they all make together. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.
✨ARC Review✨ Wedded Witch is the eighth installment in The Cursed Coven of Spells Hallow series. I absolutely adored this book! Swyn went through so much character development through out the book as she’s on her journey to finding her mates. I loved seeing how she changes and becomes better. At times the plot did feel a little slow however I was very invested in Swyn and her family curse. If you like tropes such as paranormal reverse harem, arranged marriage, fated mates, and multi first pov then this might be a good book for you!
I haven't read the other books in The Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow series and in fact I hadn't even realised that this book was part of a series too when I started reading it. Now I know Ill have to get my hands on the rest of the books soon. Fertility problems within her family and prophetic dreams lead Swyn (FMC) to Spells Hollow leaving her behind her newly wed husband - Oland. One complication that leads to 3 more in the form of Sol, Kel & Ri. All of which open her up to her background and Morfan who is source of problems for all of them. I enjoyed reading this book and I liked all of the main characters in it too. We just needed more of Oland but still a good read though.
Wedded Witch: A Fated Mates PRN Romance (part of The Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow) by Crystal North is an exciting why-choose romance. Swyn’s family is cursed, and their lineage and power are slowly dying out. She is their last hope, with an arranged marriage to Oland, her Watcher. However, after the wedding, she runs away, and Oland follows her to Spells Hollow. There, she encounters triplets who seem to call to her. Can she find room in her heart to love and break the curse, or will her emotional baggage from a life focused on marriage and procreation prove too much to overcome?
The story is well-written and features interesting characters. I enjoyed the mystery surrounding Oland and Swyn, constantly debating whether Oland was good or evil. I believe this ambiguity was intentional on the author’s part to keep surprises coming. The triplets each had distinct personalities, and Swyn developed different types of relationships with all of them, each fulfilling various needs. They helped her heal from the trauma caused by her family’s pressure to break the curse through forced marriage and childbearing. The book contains twists and surprises, leading to a wonderful happy ending (HEA), but it certainly takes a long and winding road to get there.
Overall, while this was a great addition to The Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow shared universe, it wasn’t my favorite book, mainly due to Swyn's behavior in regards to the treatment of her husband. I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone, but I will add a spoiler at the end to explain further.
If you enjoy paranormal why-choose romances, this is a fantastic choice for your next read.
**Magic** **Fated Mates** **Reverse Harem** **Witches** **Curses** **Brothers in Harem** **Forced Marriage** **FMC Runs from Husband** **Protective Mates** **Arranged Marriage**
❗️❗️❗️**SPOILER ALERT**❗️❗️❗️ I am not a fan of cheating. Swyn was married and felt a bond with her husband, yet she still engaged in sexual relationships with three other men. Additionally, I didn’t appreciate how she misled the triplets, portraying her husband as wanting her solely for childbearing, despite them agreeing to take their time and figure things out. Swyn continued to resist her relationship with her husband, more concerned about how it would interfere with her new relationships. This part of the story bothered me; I would have preferred it to unfold differently, without her husband facing these challenges of his lack of consent or her treating him poorly. It was heartbreaking to see him in love and suffering on the sidelines while trying to protect her as she cheated and spoke negatively about him.
However, I don’t let personal issues with a story affect my reviews of authors, as I recognize that many readers will not mind this and may even enjoy the book. I wouldn’t want someone to skip reading it based on my preferences, as the narrative works well and keeps the story moving toward another surprise.

Crystal North's contribution to the Spells Hollow series, Wedded Witch, seems darker than the rest of the series. Don't get me wrong; it still feels like a Spells Hollow story. We get those key points, even if I wish there was more character connection, but the undertones are more ominous, and Swyn's curse weighs heavier than the others.
Swyn does feel the weight of her family legacy, and I agree that they could have handled the situation a lot better than they did. However, at a certain point, she was still acting iffy when it was about her own survival. Frankly, the more I read, the more I found my feelings about Swyn to be holding strong in the middle, she wasn't the best, but I didn't hate her. Although she did run from a husband who was a snack and nice to boot, so her judgment calls are iffy at best. Best put, out of the frying pan and into the fire. After she ditches her husband, she then runs into three mates who could be more different personality-wise. All of them seem to adore her, though.
At times the plot seemed to move a little slowly, it felt like it stretched out. However, Crystal did add some great twists that totally caught me off guard, and the bit of mythology that was introduced was a nice touch. Plus, I finally got an answer about the motel manager, he was in the other books, and I knew something was up with him. It was great getting more of Mavis. I love her sassy attitude and snarky wit. I'm hoping that her story gets revealed at some point.
Wedded Witch was a good read. Things got a little hairy towards the end; everyone loves drama. There's one more left in the Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow, and I can't wait to see how it all ends.
We start with Swyn being forced by her family into marrying a total stranger to break a family curse. They want her wedded and reproducing as soon as possible. When an unexpected visitor tells her she must go to Spells Hollow to break it, that her family, out of desperation, is wrong. At the last minute, she does. Thus begins her fast track into the cursed town and the magic that’s involved.
As with just about all of the books in this series, I really liked the story and path that Swyn takes. I liked her and her four fated mates. This was a bit longer than the other books, but that made for a full book that was still pretty quick to read. I did have a few small nit picks. There was a lot of extra flowery sentences in the story that I just didn’t feel were necessary and I found myself skipping lines here and there. Also, the author has every character smirking pretty much every time they are looking at someone. This got a little grating, but not so deterring to take away from the writing. The last thing was the characters referencing as if a long time has passed between the beginning and when Swyn meets them, whereas I got the impression that it was maybe a week, two at best. When her husband references this, he’s only actually seen her up close and spoken to her twice at this point. Again, the writing was good enough that it didn’t really deter, just makes the difference between 4 stars and 5.
This book in the Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow universe features Swyn, who is the last hope to carry on the Galdur line, who is being forced to marry a man she has never met and expected to pop out babies post haste. After her mother shares some information about what is happening to their magic and what will happen if she doesn’t have a baby, she goes through with the wedding – and she and her new husband, Oland, seem to be instantly enamoured with each other. Oland being the watcher to her family knows that she is his fated mate, but when she goes missing after the wedding, he knows he will track her down wherever she goes.
Swyn was told by a long dead relative to find Spells Hollow, so she crosses the ocean from Wales to New York to find out what she needs to do to break the curse. When she books a room at the only motel around, she meets the handsomest of men working there. Except what she doesn’t know is that not only is Kel an identical triplet, but that they are hellhounds guarding the gate to hell right there in Spells Hollow. Going to Spells Hollow, she realizes just how much horror has happened there.
But with the help of the triplets AND Oland who shows up, she is able to defeat the enemy and break her family's curse!!! Yay! I loved how this book ended! Great job!
“Wedded Witch” is the latest standalone in the shared world of Spells Hollow, with all the known elements I enjoy in this series. I really loved the new curse Swyn had to conquer; it was original and interwoven in an interesting way with the past and the present of Spells Hollow. I’ve already written something about the different atmosphere in every book, and in this standalone it’s a little more sinister and focused on suspense. I enjoyed the storyline, and the path Swyn and her men had to take to get to their HEA.
Swyn meets up with some interesting men in her story; I want to write more about them but I think it’s more fun to discover it all while reading. The only thing I had a hard time with in this standalone, was the relationship building. The men aren’t upfront about something that really bothered me, and I really struggled with that. Swyn doesn’t seem that bothered about it and shrugs it off quite easily, so it might just be a me-thing, but it did result in a lower rating for me. I just don’t want to spoil it by giving too much details, but I sincerely hope it’s just something that bothered me.
That being said, this was a good addition to the series, and I’m starting to feel sad about the moment it will all be done.
This next installment in the Spells Hallow series brings us, Swyn. She is torn between doing her duty, by getting married and having a baby as soon as possible, and running as fast as she can. She takes option number three...get married and then run as fast as she can.
When your family has been cursed for centuries it makes life a little harder. And when your past great great...however more greats...grandfather tells you to go to Spells Hallow you do. Swyn wants more in life than to let a curse dictate it. So on her wedding night, despite the connection she feels with her new husband, she gets on a plane and flies to New York. Where Spells Hallow will either help her break the curse or unleash dark magic that will destroy her and possibly everything.
The way that Sol, Kel, and Ri are introduced to Swyn was great. She was so lost on what was going on that it was very entertaining. I wasn't sure what part Oland was going to play, but it worked out so smoothly. And I've enjoyed Mavis in the other books so it was great that she had more of a role in this one. She is hilarious and her unique personality always leaves an impression.
Wedded Witch is another great addition to this series!
Wedded witch is the 8th book in the spells hollow series of stand alones. Each book can be read by itself but what fun would that be. Best course is start at book 1. Swyn's family has been cursed with a timeliness of sorts that requires reproduction. If your sensitive to infertility/ reproductive issues I would just give you a heads up. I didn't feel discomfort reading this and I'm a PCOS woman. Swyn has been arranged to marry to produce the next in line for this curse to pass down. She commits to getting married though a voice advises against. Thankfully gramps doesn't give up and she books it to spells hollow. It is there that she encounters the beasts we've heard about in prior books to watch out for in the woods. I enjoyed not only that there were three of them but also who they became. The relationships were captivating to watch grow. The magic she develops is really cool. I loved how she used that to succeed. The ending conquer was the one we've been waiting for. If your down to here reading, stop and go read this book!
Her family is dying, and the only way Swyn can save them is to marry a man she's never met and conceive a child. But what she doesn't realise is that there is a time limit on it. She tries to do her part, or at least to everyone else it seems that way but she's determined to find a way to break the curse on her family instead.
This sets her on a journey, like the other FMCs in the series, leading her to Spells Hollow. If she thought marrying a guy she didn't know was a problem, there's more in store for her at her destination. But it's okay cause she meets a guy when she gets there, who turns out to be three guys and triplets.
I wasn't really sure what the deal was with Oland, her newly wedded husband. At first, I thought he might turn out to be an antagonist in the story and I'm kinda sad in the end that he didn't get anywhere near as much page time as the other three guys, but I am glad that he and the others all get their HEA in the end.
I'm hard pressed to choose a favourite book in this series, they are all so good but this one is definitely up there as one of my favourites!
This books focus is on Swyn Galdur whose family see her as their salvation as in due to the curse she must have given birth to a baby by the time she is twenty two or the whole family line will perish. This gives her a year which really isn't much time so her family have arranged a marriage to Oland, who has been a watcher of their family for practically his whole life. After a vision from one of her ancestors, after the wedding she runs, to Spells Hollow where she meets triplets Kel, Sol and Ri and sets to finding out how to break the curse before it's too late.
This was a book and a half! It was lengthier than the other books in the series but it was such a ride! There were a couple of twists that I wasn't expecting and I like that we got more of a backstory to Mavis, the leopard print wearing pensioner and she featured more in this book also. I really liked the ending and the phone-call from Swyn's mother at the end with the results of the curse breaking made me giggle. This book was truly enjoyable and is worth every one of the 5 stars I have given it
*Reverse Harem *Paranormal *Multi-1st-PoV *Arranged Marriage *Fated Mates *Shifters *Curse *Building Harem (4) *Standalone Solid story This book follows Swyn and the pressure she feels from here family to procreate to lift their curse! Yet she knows that’s not what she wants from life and seeks another way to lift the curse….luckily there happens to be a ghostly family member who offers her a way out that will also stop the curse! Swyn has significant choices to make that involves opening up to possibilities and thankfully her fated mates are there to show her how, although it’s certainly not all plain sailing and they themselves make veryyy questionable decisions! 🙈 Not only that but her husband knows she’s the one and despite her running away will do what he can to protect her 🥰 there’s a good balance of action and character interaction throughout this book, and we definitely get more of the big baddie Morfran! A hard fought HEA for this harem.
Book 8 in the Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow Series *Standalone *RH (4 guys) *TRIPLETS *PNR *Multi-1st-POV *Arranged Marriage *Fated Mates *Shifters *Curse
Our FMC, Swyn (loveeee the name), has pressure being put on her by her family to procreate to lift their curse. Luckily she has a mind of her own and knows that’s not what she wants from life and seeks another way to lift the curse. Insert ghostly gramps to the rescue! He send her to our favorite little town to find her mates and end the curse.
The mates: Oland, Ri, Sol, Kel
Swyn has significant choices to make that involves opening up to possibilities. Thankfully her fated mates are there to show her how…. But as it usually is with help from our husbands, there’s some questionable times that come with the help lol. This book was amazing and had ups and downs. There’s definitely a HEA but it didn’t come easily. I highly recommend giving it a read!
Swyn's family is cursed and in order to break that curse, she's forced to marry a stranger and have a child. Except she doesn't want to and when an unexpected guests arrives telling her to go to Spells Hallow to break the curse, that's exactly what she does.
I liked this book more than I was expecting to. The plotline sounded pretty much the same as every other one, with the addition of an arranged marriage, so I wasn't sure how different it could be. But I was pleasantly surprised that the author did make it unique and an interesting read. I loved Oland, Swyn's husband and how he actually worked out well for her. The triplets were also a fun addition to her story and gave way for a little more spice.
I didn't care for the writing as much. There were a lot of places that I was glancing over because it didn't add anything to the story. The story just had too many details that didn't add anything and just bogged the reading down
Oh, I think this one is my favourite in the series (so far)! Swyn is an interesting character, in many ways, she does not act like only a 21 year old, as she seems much wiser; but then again, she was quite naive in the beginning - albeit with her rebellious streak! I enjoyed seeing her growth and self-acceptance as the story progressed. The triplets, well...whew. I like how they are each so unique. Then there is the husband...Without giving any spoilers, I'm really happy with how things turned out!
I appreciate it when an author includes a playlist, it helps immerse myself into the story (I always listen to music when I read, so a curated playlist is nice touch).
I like the writing style, and although it is part of the Spells Hallow series, it felt a bit more original and less predictable (well, towards the end, it becomes a bit more so). Great characters, good world-building, and well-written.
One runaway bride, arranged marriage, a groom she never met before who is also her appointed watcher, a flight across the ocean, and triplets shifting into a hellhound. All of this contains the story following Swyn, a young witch carrying the burden of a deadly curse and enormous pressure from her family. The naturally flowing story brings us to Spells Hollow, a desolate place where a battle with evil is awaiting, but where bonds are formed too. I really enjoyed how Swyn came together with Kel, Ri, and Sol, amd eventually found her way to Olund, awakening her full magical abilities to be able to face Morfran. This book was also special in the way how much was kept secret from Swyn, not knowing the details about her curse, the ticking clock, or even knowing about Spells Hollow and her own history. I really liked the chemistry between Swyn and her mates, and also enjoyed Mavis' role in this book. One of my favorites in this series.
Swyn is getting married - not because she particularly feel like it or because she is in love, but because the curse placed on her family by Morfran, will end the family line if she does not marry and birth a child before her 22nd birthday. Easy right? Wrong. This book felt a little bit drawn out compared to the other books in the universe. Wordy in places. But the storyline was great and I really liked the characters. There were a few things that didn’t feel completely “in line” with the rest of the books. Like how her car stopped working on the way to Spells Hollow, when others had been able to drive all the way in. But tiny things like that. The triplets were well done with their very different personalities and I liked the background for Oland. Oh, and adored how Oland never let go of Swyn - always looking out for her. Swoon! A good addition to the series, that I would not recommend leaving out of the reading order.
How fun was this mystery like romance? It was a lot! It felt more of a mystery read than an actual romance, and I was so here for it. I enjoyed this read very much.
Swyn, our female lead, has a mind of her own and does not let anyone tell her what to do. So she has this curse on her family, and her family wants her to break it. By having kids. She sets out to break it without having to resort to that. She may or may not have the help of a ghost. She travels to our favorite little town, there to break the curse and meet her mates.
Loved that Swyn has some things to think over and choices to make. Good thing Oland, Kel, Sol and Ri are there to help her. There was some struggle for their HEA and I was so here for that. This book was well written, fast paced and just a really good read.
The latest trip to Spells Hollow starts in the UK, where Swyn is faced with an arranged marriage to deal with her family's curse. I loved her whole attitude and how she dealt with it.
One plane trip and a drive north later, she finds herself in Spells Hollow with three identical triplets. There's some fun identity confusion around them until she figures it out, too.
The curse here was an interesting one, as was how it was broken. As we near the end of the series, it feels like the stakes are getting higher, too. I loved learning more about Mavis, who has been lurking round the local motel all series, too.
This was a funny, sweet and steamy book, and I really enjoyed it. I can't believe we're almost at the end of the series, I love Spells Hollow, and want to know more. One final book with all the witched united, maybe?
Wedded Witch by Crystal North is and fated mates paranormal romance and part of the Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow series and was just as entertaining as all the rest so far!
Our fabulous FMC Swyn is accustomed to having a prophesy hang over her her whole life, along with an arranged marriage, but she doesn’t have to like it! So when a chance comes from her to run from her “predestined fate” and her family—she takes it. Little does she know it will land her exactly where she needs to be. This story leads us in a journey as Swyn battles between the choices in front of her: stick with her family and the curse of her bloodline and lose herself possibly along the way or choose the side with her men, her protectors and hope they can all withstand what’s coming their way. And man was it a battle worth fighting for!
Swyn was raised all her life how she had a duty to break the curse. Her mother explains to her if she does not wed and have a child by the time she is 22 the family curse will be put in place. She accepts her parents plans and marries a man she has never met. After the wedding, later at night she knows she has to go and find her own way she sneaks out and manages to get to New York. There her ghost Gramps tells her to go to Spells Hollow to break the curse. Then the story really gets interest when she meets a great looking man, not realizing he is one of identical triplets. Ri, Kel, and Sol what do they have to do with the curse? Of course there is her husband Oland, hounds, storms, magic and the angry wicked Morfran. Get comfortable and settle in for a wicked story.
Swyn was a fun character to watch. She felt trapped in her world but desperately wanted her freedom. There were a few things I found interesting. 1. Her family knows about the curse, knows it could be broken, but takes no action to do so. 2. They keep putting Band-Aids on the situation and just having people pump out kids. 3. The person she ends up in an arranged marriage with ends up being so perfect for her.
I really admired Swyn for taking the risk and heading out to save the day. The crew she stumbled onto in Spells Hollow were charming and adorable. I really enjoyed watching the developments, the discoveries of how the characters are related, and I enjoyed the ending most of all.
this book we focus on Swyn who is from the Galdur line. she is being forced to marry a man she has never met and have his children right away. she does go through with the wedding based on information she learns from her mother. Luckily it seems like her husband Orland is a great guy.they're obsessesd with each other. Oland already know that she is his fated mate. then twist...she goes missing after the wedding but Oland is determined to find her. Swyn has always been told to find Spells Hollow so she crosses the ocean to find it. while on her way there she meets some men. and these men have a surprise.... theyre hell hounds. will she be able to break the family curse with the help of her men.\
Wedded Witch is part of the multi author shared series, The Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow. It is a steamy, why choose romance with action, intrigue, mystery, surprises and wit!
Running from her duty to her family sends Swyn into the protective arms of her true destiny.
Swyn and her guys are awesome characters and I loved their story. It has two things that I love the most in a book, a prophecy and a curse. Needless to say, I was hooked and couldn't put it down.
The writing, pace, and flow of this story are terrific, as are the characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, plot, and world building. I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait for more from this fabulous author.
Wedded Witch is another fantastic addition to the standalone Cursed Coven of Spells Hollow series! With a curse upon her family, Swyn is left with little option. Her family sets her up with an arranged marriage and a task to have a child to keep their line afloat. I was pleasantly surprised that luckily she and her betrothed are smitten, but after marrying Oland, Swyn is told she needs to go to Spells Hollow to figure out more about her curse. This is where she discovers that she actually has multiple fated mates! The men she meets there and Oland who follows her all help her figure out a way to break the curse, and while it was dicey sometimes, the HEA was well worth it! Loved every moment of this spicy and entertaining read!
This book was the epitome of growth and character development, especially for Swyn. Seeing her overcome obstacles and family pressures was beautiful, and relatable. Maybe not in the marriage sense, but in the heavy expectations sense at least. I loved watching her small defiances, and ADORED her choice of wedding dress. Her great great- many times great, grandfather is a small character but I still loved him. His sass and wit brought some great comedic relief to plenty of serious situations. Especially Olands drive to NY. Ri has to be my favorite, with his seriousness and possessiveness. I adored his moments with her, especially in her Ancestral home, and the shower scene. Definitely a great addition to the Spells Hollow series.
Break the curse or your whole family and the world will perish, oh no worries, that’s not a tall order for a young witch.
Running away the day of her wedding, our FMC with the guidance of her long gone ancestor is off to Spells Hollow to break her family’s curse, no biggie.
A small town outside Spells Hollow , many characters we have met before and definitely some we haven’t, awaits our heroine as she figures everything out while also figuring out her heart.
Four handsome MCCs who will be the key to all hope, some great laughs, some surprises, and you get an adventure for all. Only one more book left of this shared world. Sad some, but every one of them has been awesome.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this one at first because “eww arranged marriages against her consent” but damn did you win me over in the first few chapters Oland is so sweet my heart hurts. Swyn, that poor girl, stuck in such a messed up situation…but I love the cahones that she had to take a different path than what was chosen for her, good on her! And as for the guys?!? Oh my goodness I’ve been wondering when the motel was going to get involved and I am HERE FOR IT! The twists and turns of this story that did not expect kept me in the edge of my seat for the entire book. That conclusion was fantastic but omg how chaotic would that be for all the women in her family 🤦🏼♀️ Very well done! I can’t wait to read more by this author!
