Rate this book
All it takes is one special Christmas Angel to melt Jack Frost’s frozen heart.

Jack stopped believing in the magic of Christmas years ago. Home to mend fences and build bridges with those he left behind, he’s determined to reconnect with his heritage—to find the man he used to be. And one special Christmas Angel will change everything in a way he never expected.

Elle love Santa’s Village. The magic, the children, the joy. But this year an arrogant jerk by the name of Jack Frost threatens to ruin it all. Elle isn’t about to let this modern-day Scrooge spoil things for anyone. Least of all her. But Jack isn’t as frosty as he seems and there’s no denying the sparks flying between them.

As the ice around Jack’s heart cracks Elle discovers a man who might be worthy of hers.

2.75 stars .fun and flirty read. they meet, spend the weekend having sex and talking and that's it. lol.too short to really connect but if it was longer I know I would love them even more:)

safety : H was married for ten years. he recently divorced her. he said he allowed her to control him. he didn't really love her. h was in a relationship they ended badly I'm assuming. not much is said only that she done the rebound thing before and never would again. I guess her ex just used her and walked away. this didn't really bother because it really was too short to get all into thier story. I believe he and H are in their late thirties.

Fun, Short Holiday Read

Jack is back home after a divorce, to help his family run their Christmas company Frosty’s Snowmen. He doesn’t have the best disposition right now and definitely isn’t looking for a woman.
Elle runs the arena where Jack’s company has their winter wonderland. She has been the rebound girl before and it didn’t end well, she’ll be damned if she is that for Jack!
This was a great little short Christmas story, about two people leery about moving forward, but unable to fight the pull between them. Jack and Elle steam up the room and burn up the sheets in this short, so check it out today!

"A Touch of Frost" by Rhiann Cahill is a short piece (50 pages) of Christmas erotica.
Jack Frost is back in Sydney, Australia, and his first meeting with Elle Roland sees him behaving like a Grinch.
By Chapter two he's all charm and making "her girl-parts perk up and take heed."
But, she's not going to sleep with him on their first date, no siree Bob!
And he's only got 10 condoms!
When the steam finally clears we are not given a condom count but the reader can guess!
And that's about it.

Wonderful Story hold ups after almost 10 years!

Loved reading this story back in 2014 and again now.

It was great to see Elle stand up to and defrost Jack Frost.

Delightful read! Now off to read A Kiss From Kringle.

I first discovered Aussie Author Rhian Cahill last year around Christmas time and quickly devoured her Christmas and New Year novellas. So this year when I discovered she had a new Christmas novella out, I simply had to have it and it didn’t disappoint.

Every year I make this HUGE list of Christmas books I want to read and yet somehow every year I barely make a mark on the list as I have a tendency to leave too many to too late. This is part of the reason why I love the Christmas novellas that flood the market each year. Short by definition and thus a guareenteed quick read full of Christmas cheer and holiday spirit I rely on this books to get me through the busy period of December retail period and to pick me up when my Christmas Spirit is sometimes lacking. With each themed novella, I find myself smiling like a lunatic as I read about lovers reunited, and people who’ve just met celebrating a special moment under the mistletoe or a family meal. They just make me happy.

A Touch of Frost is the story of Elle and Jack, who meet at work just prior to Santa’s Village opening for the year. Elle is a free spirit, who manages the place and loves Christmas. Jack isn’t sure what he’s doing there and is used to corporate law, so the atmosphere and world of the Christmas themed play centre is a as foreign to him as another language. Taking notes from the book, he’s not happy with how the staff are goofing off before open and is just starting to get worked up about it when he firsts sees and meet Elle, quickly he finds himself falling for the woman before him, and the rest they say is history.

At 53 pages, there’s no doubt that A Touch of Frost is a quick, fun an flirty read. It’s the perfect kind of book to read when you have a spare few moments at Christmas and want something light and fun. I will warn you however, although the author doesn’t go into as much detail as some, the romance in this novella is closer to the steamer side of the scale with the characters clothing disappearing very early in the book. Ultimately though, A Touch of Frost is a fun holiday romance read that is bound to have you feeling festive.

Jack had a great reason to be over Christmas: it’s not seasonal blues, it’s his family business, and there’s only so much tinsel you can have in your life without feeling bah humbug about it.

But this year is different. He’s home after a long absence, with fences to mend, bridges to build and a commitment to change he intends to keep.

Elle loves Christmas, and she is not about to let an arrogant Scrooge like Jack Frost ruin it for her. He might have her libido flashing like fairy lights, but she’s been burned by a guy on the rebound before and she doesn’t need a Boxing Day-bargain boyfriend.

But there’s more than a little magic in mistletoe, and it may just see Elle and Jack ringing in a very happy new year.

I requested this on Netgalley last December and when I was trying to decide on my last few books of the year this one stuck out to me.

Jack has just split from his wife and he's not quite got into the festive spirit yet. That is until he meets Elle. Elle catches his eye straight away with her angel routine for the children.

Elle doesn't want to be Jack's rebound girl. She's been there, done that, got the tshirt and she's not going back. However Jack and his sexy ways tempt her to his bedroom.

I enjoyed this sexy, steamy little festive read so much that I immediately read the next book in the series.

A Touch of Frost is a sexy, short Christmas story and one I very much enjoyed reading. I loved the interaction and banter between all of the characters and look forward to reading what comes next.

Jack Frost has returned home after his divorce determined to put the past behind him and change his way. Jack has spent so much time angry and bitter he just wants to be a better man and friend.

Elle Roland is in charge of Christmas in the centre Jack owns and she is set on making Christmas special for all the children who visit.

When Jack meets Elle there is something magical that passes between them except Elle is not going to be Jack’s rebound girl. But when Jack asks her to dinner what Elle will soon realise is that it might just be her forever after she is giving up if she doesn’t take the chance.

A Touch Of Frost (Frosty's Snowmen 1) is a fun and sexy look into the wonder of Christmas set in Santa’s Village, Sydney, Australia. Jack Frost, yes that’s his name, has gone through a devastating divorce, leaving everything and returning to Sydney and the family business just in time to open Santa’s Village for the Christmas season. He intends to forget his ex, dive into the family business and start anew with his focus on himself and the family business.

Elle is the arena manager and plays the Christmas Angel. She is happy to work with the children and open the village and love Christmastime. She however doesn’t have time for romance or arrogant handsome men after being hurt terribly by her last lover. The Magic of Christmas has ideas of its own and loves to put little bumps in the holiday road.

Steamy and fast-paced, A Touch of Frost wastes no time building up the chemistry between Elle (her full name is Angelle) and Jack. Cahill does a great job creating tension and maintaining it until … the two throw caution to the wind. There’s not a huge time for character development in novellas, but Cahill made me care out the characters and the outcome, hoping all the while the two would have a merry Christmas. Jack comes across as arrogant at first but quickly develops into an Alpha male with a sensitive side. A fun and entertaining read, I’d recommend this for those who like a bit of bite in their romance and don’t want anything too serious.

I love Christmas stories. They just make me happy and A Touch Of Frost is no exception. This novella length book is the perfect read to get you in the mood for the holidays and other things. ;) Jack and Elle are easy to like. Even thought this is a novella Rhian does a great job giving us enough background on each character to feel like you know them a bit. There isn't a lot of conflict, but I didn't feel like I needed it in this book. A Touch Of Frost is a fun, quick read that will leave you wishing for a little frost in your life.

Jack he's Mr. Scrooge and Elle that girl is like the three ghosts put into one, once he sees her pretty much all hell breaks loose on his emotions, "she's almost too beautiful to look at. Like spun glass you're afraid to touch." If you're a friend of Jack's and he asks you a serious question you don't joke around:
"You two got something going on?"
"Problem if we do?"
Jack snarled. An honest to God snarl. Chris held his hands up and stepped back. "Whoa. Down, boy. I thought you'd sworn off women."
I liked this book it was quick and Jack was quite the character.

A Touch of Frost is short, sweet and sexy. Jack Frost is on the rebound and Elle Roland doesn't do rebounders but sometimes love doesn't play by the rules. This is one of the sweetest stories I've read from Rhian Cahill. There are gorgeous holiday and family themes too. I really enjoyed this.

60 second review :

How fun! It takes quite a talent to write what feels like a full story in about 50 pages. I'd have loved to know more but still satisfied. A happy holiday read for the advent calendar :)
