Motherhood is the creator of all Love. While vacationing in a quiet village, celebrated singer Algernon James finds himself the target of a mysterious ghostly figure. Upon each recurring vision, James begins unraveling her mysterious past and forms a stronger connection by finding the creature's living daughter. However, all is not as it seems, and James slowly begins to realize that the Ghost may not belong to a deceased victim but a living person whose life he is about to save.
This fabulous book is presented as a literary work that goes beyond conventions, immersing us in a story that not only captivates with its mystery, but also touches the deepest fibers of the human condition. The premise that motherhood is the creator of all love serves as a guiding premise and takes the plot into unexplored realms of emotion and spiritual connection. The protagonist, Algernon James, is presented as a means to explore her own reflections on motherhood and love. This personal aspect adds layers of depth to the story, turning the plot into an experience that resonates beyond the resolution of the central enigma. It is a book that I really liked reading. I have enjoyed it and it has allowed me to reflect and grow internally. I recommend it.

This is a short 100-page story, so luckily, I didn't invest a lot of time reading this. It's not a ghost story despite its title. The "ghost " is a woman who has been knocked unconscious from a fall and has been lying in a hole for 2 weeks. Her unconscious body has been searching for someone to find her. When she is found, she miraculously wakes up and plays hide and seek with her young daughter. I could write more, but then the review would be longer than the story. I already invested too much of my time.
It's been a while since I was captivated by a ghost novel, but this one was truly a good read. It has a lot of depth in the narrative and also, author Patrick Ullmer gave a good characterization to the main voices in the book, so the reader will explore relationships and love dynamics. I think what made this book appealing to me, besides the cover, was the right mix of some classic elements of suspense and ghost stories, but also the fact that it touches heartfull topics. To sum up, Your Ghost is a good story to let the mind immerse in and follow the storyline.
ARC Received- 3.0 Well I appreciate this short read, I find it hat just simply needed more meat on its bones. It’s incredibly difficult to gain the investment of the reader in a short story, and while I think many will find this enchanting, I did not.
