Make sure that you read Key to Supernova before this book first. And even then that book will not give you any clue for what’s to come in this book. It will let you get to know some characters. Nova is a woman who has been through so much in the prequel, and even more is coming. Tyr was by her side through the horribleness they went through in the previous book, but he’s suddenly not seeming so much like the man Nova fell in love with. And her parents and best friend Aimee are worried for her. Loki has been sent by Odin on a mission. And that mission has to do with what happened on the island in the first book. He is watching Nova and Tyr. Is he getting too close? He questions himself so much. You are going to know a little back story to what leads up to the island to the present. And boy, let me just tell you there are some major twists that you will never see coming at all. This is a dark romance, and there are many triggers, more than even the first book. But if you love a good dark romance that will take you on the ride of your life with massive darkness and twists and turns, than you will need to read this series.

Dark, twisted, and I loved it! This book will have you hooked as it will keep you reading and wanting to figure out the twists and turns. The Prequal The Key to Supernova will let you understand some of the characters in the book, but honestly, it's also a bit explained as well. I absolutely loved how this book bends reality for Nova, the man that, in a sense, recues her, and how she rises to be her true self after all she had to endure. I highly suggest reading the TW, but if you love dark and twisted romance books, then this is the ine for you!

Just Wow. This is probably one of the most unhinged and depraved books I have ever read. I was sucked in from the very start, and the need to finish was overwhelming. I don't think a book has ever called to me like this one.
Nothing is as it seems. When you meet Nova, she seems like every other broken and damaged girl trying to find some semblance of a normal life. A "caring boyfriend, her friend, her family. Even with that, she feels out of place. When she runs into Alek, her life turns upside down. She feels lost, not right. He tells her things, and she needs to wake up and see what's happening to her. It's just an overall amazing quick read.

I absolutely loved this book. It took me on so many twists and threw me on so many turns. I was not expecting the twists in this book. I highly recommend this book for others to read. Please note there are major triggers and it is very detailed on scenes that those sensitive may not be able to handle, but if you can handle the warnings then you will highly enjoy this book. For those who love their men morally grey and messed up in the head, this MMC will not disappoint.

Sucked me in from the first page! The Key to Supernova is the prequel to Waking Up For Him, and while not completely necessary to read first, it does help some with back story. This book has plenty of WTF did I just read moments, as well as twists and turns. Please mind the trigger warnings they are there for a reason!

So dark and makes you question your morals.

I've been looking forward to this book since I read the prequel back in January. I was not disappointed.

I got so wrapped up in this story that I had to message the author to ask if I was going crazy. The characters and world building was spectacular for how contained the story is to a few people. It made me feel stabby towards one or two characters but that just proves its well written.

Can't wait to see what's next from Natasha and Elsa!

Arc Review: Wow....just wow!!! I'll preface by stating you should read The Key to Supernova first for the full backstory. It's a quick Novella but I thought it did so much to set the tone for Waking Up for Him. I LOVED this read. It was dark and twisted...CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS if you need to. The plot twist at the end has to be one of my favorites. This quickly turned into a psychological thriller with some great spice! 5/5 Highly Recommend!! I will definitely be reading more from Natasha!!!

Man oh man! If you thought the last book The Key to Supernova was a rollercoaster, that was nothing compared to this one! The twists and turns, the smut, everything about this book was everything! I have never read a whole book in one sitting before but I literally couldn’t put it down! Read the whole book in a couple of hours. This book and the novella was one of those books that I didn’t know I needed to read until I read them. I was kinda in a book funk before these but not after. This book is just....WOW. The twists in this book definitely threw me for a loop. The plot was amazing. The characters were wonderfully written. The spice?? Yowzy. It was spicing alright. Definitely check your trigger warnings. There are some dark topics but it's so worth the read. Highly recommend!
