This duology certainly was more simple than the original: Alice in Borderland, but it was nice to come back to the Borderlands for a little while - especially considering that they were very little casualties. Arisu and two others decide to work together in the end and as they manage to use all their cards, they win the game and get to return to the real world. Arisu wakes up in the hospital just in time to get to Usagi who has just delivered their baby. Happy end.

Hermoso final.

El juego fue espectacular, muy difícil igual de descifrar, tenían los jugadores que confiar mas en ellos y pensar, como jugar en equipo, pero eran personas que no se.conocian y es difícil.

Arisu siendo psicólogo me encanta, esa es una carrera que yo quería estudiar pero.no pude, así que me fui por la rama de la psicopedagogía.
Y en ocasiones me siento como Arisu, que no puede escuchar o siente que no aconseja bien. Me identifico.

Primero tenemos que querer nuestra vida y nuestra forma de vivirla, ser felices. A nuestra manera, para poder asi ayudar a otros.

Muy buen juego, Arisu añorando llegar con Usagi enseguida fue hermoso.
Hablando de Usagi, que mujer embarazada se ve así de bien? Por favor me volví a enamorar de ella.

Y antes de finalizar el juego como Arisu se despide de sus amigos, espero que no tenga que volver a borderlands, el pobre ya ha estado mucho ahí.

Y este no es el final, porque Netflix anuncio una tercera temporada y estoy aquí esperandola.

Va a ser difícil dejar estos mangas, seguro los releere cuando esté cerca la tercera temporada de estrenarse.

Mmmm está muy bien, pero ya no entiendo el sentido de Borderland y la cantidad de juegos/condiciones para salir de ahí. En este caso solo ha sido 1 juego de la baraja numérica, idk, idk, ya no entiendo nada.

Y nada que ver la 3ª temporada de netflix con este Retry, o sea, NADA que ver. Aquí no hay ni comodín ni nada. Entiendo tho, que esto no daba para serie y que le hayan dado una vuelta. Lo único es que para mí el mundo no se entiende del todo bien, así que le deberían haber intentado dar un sentido coherente.

This mini 2 volume sequel manga is almost like an epilogue to the main story. Set 6 years later, Arisu now married and an expectant father, he finds himself back in Borderland for one final survival game, alien invasion.

I really enjoyed the main series and this was a fun little extra. Kinda wish we had more

Aquí es cuando Haro Aso vuelve con fuerza. Si el tomo anterior tan solo sentaba las bases del juego, este profundiza en ellas y, sobre todo, nos brinda de nuevo esos personajes y reflexiones tan interesantes de la anterior obra. Algunas revelaciones respecto a la naturaleza del juego eran de esperar, pero otras me han sorprendido para bien. Lo mejor, no obstante, es cómo la obra por fin logra atarse a su precuela tanto en filosofía como en puntos argumentales. Que uno de los doctores del final de aquella historia vuelva aquí con un arco de personaje completo es de agradecer, y más aún que ese Arisu que todos conocemos y amamos demuestre de nuevo su auténtica naturaleza: el sugus de piña.

Más allá de lo bien pensado del juego principal, me gusta el sentido del ritmo de Aso. Que el penúltimo capítulo cierre sin pompa ni fanfarria es todo un voto de confianza para su propia obra y una declaración de intenciones: el último capítulo no es una culminación del juego, sino del arco del protagonista y un epílogo a toda la historia. Se continúan las ideas de esas últimas páginas en Alice in Borderland y por fin se esclarece el motivo para vivir del protagonista. Sin duda, ese panel del bebé naciendo es uno de los más poderosos de toda la historia y una prueba fehaciente de que Aso sabía lo que estaba haciendo con esta secuela. Quizá sea un pilladinero, pero ojalá todos tuvieran la voluntad artística de Alice in Borderland RETRY. No solo es una buena secuela; también es una buena historia y una conclusión genial a toda la saga.

=Regrets... Of course I have a mountain of them. There are so many things I haven't done yet. Things I dream of doing and things I want to do. My wishes, expectations, hopes and future. There are a mountain of things I wasn't able to accomplish... But isn't that just how life is? Being able to say that you don't have a single regret as you die might seem cool, but for as long as I live, I will always have regrets. Looking back, most of my life has been rough it hasn't been that long since I finally found happiness too. But even so, I like this life of mine. Like you said, I've done all I can. There are lives that could have been saved, had I just realized earlier. No matter how much I regret it, I can't undo what happened. But in the end, I was able to live in a way I can accept. At the very least, to my child, I'll be someone who's able to die with my head held high.

[Alice in Borderland Retry - Volume 2 → ☆☆☆]

Volume palesemente scritto dopo il successo della prima stagione del drama. Il game in se è anche costruito bene e ci sta che i personaggi, Arisu a parte, siano diversi da quelli della serie principale, sicuramente con meno spazio di approfondimento, ma comunque ciascuno con le sue luci ed ombre.

Se già ero un po' insoddisfatto della spiegazione dell'accesso a Borderland nella storia principale, qua risulta proprio ridicola... In più non so come sia venuto in mente all'autore di rendere Arisu psicologo, ma non è decisamente la professione adatta a lui.

Altra cosa non particolarmente rilevante ma che comunque non mi ha fatto impazzire è il game catalogato come livello 9 di cuori. Se si voleva mantenere una continuità con la prima serie avrei sfruttato il Jolly, che per lo meno avrebbe giustificato il ritorno immediato al 'mondo reale' alla fine del game.

Comunque tutto sommato ho letto spin off peggiori.

Terminado de leer esto puedo comprender un poco más como es el mundo de Borderland.
Cuando termine la primera parte de AIB pensaba que el mundo era creado por alguien, pero en esta parte Arisu nos deja entender que es la línea que divide la vida y la muerte. Como si fuera la última prueba de las personas donde deciden si realmente quieren hacer algo por vivir y tienen esa tipo "redención" donde pueden aprecian todo lo que tenían y que aún tienen ganas de continuar.
El juego no fue mucho de mi agrado la vdd creo que en los primeros tomos de AIB hubo juegos mucho mejores que este, sin embargo ver a Arisu me gustó muchísimo y ver cómo aprecia más la vida que tiene me gustó mucho, el muchacho maduro para bien 🤧😍

i enjoyed the second volume much less than the first because it ends the series so abruptly.

Arisu figures out a way to clear the nine of hearts game without anybody dying, and then when the game is done, there are fireworks, and the survivors return to the real world where they are all hospitalized together.

this is just in time for Arisu to run across the hospital to meet Usagi and their daughter for the first time.

i just dislike how this opportunity wasn’t used to shed more light on borderland, but i guess there are some things the author never wants us to have a concrete answer to. like why the games, why the joker, etc.

i just wish this had a bit more substance than it does.

I'm sorry that I said this Manga was unnecessary. It definitely was but it catched me so hard. I just have one problem with it: at the end of heart 9 they came back to the real world. I think it would be better for the Borderland plot that they needed to play the next stage again that they get the choice if they want to go back or not. I could've also been that they joined in the next stage and then played against the heart king/queen/jack.
I also think in this part Ryohei was better in games then the Retry 1. It seemed like there he didn't wanted to survive.
Still cute how he remembered his friends.

So the retry would be, my guess is, the basis of the third season of the TV adaptation.

Which is going to be super short, given it's just the one game.

Intriguing premise though, feels like the game masters are much kinder this time around.

Anyway, found out that all the games I thought were not in the manga series were in all the specials/short side stories, so there's that little correction.

Sekuel yang serba nanggung, hanya memuat cerita sebuah game kartu hati.
Begitu game selesai, Arisu bisa langsung kembali ke dunia nyata. Padahal di prekuelnya sampai harus menghabiskan semua nomor kartu agar bisa kembali ke dunia nyata.

Estado: triste.

Aunque deciden echarlo a la suerte, Kitou hace trampa y hace perdedor a Taiga, quien molesto se lanza a Himari siendo protegida por su padre y asesinado, dando el paso solo a Nanase, Arisu, Himari y Kitou.
La muerte de los primeros dos no se siente pues nos cuentan su pasado donde son bastantes cuestionables, sin embargo Nanase es agradable y un sol 🤧, Kitou la deja atrás aun cuando ella lo ayudó y muere.
Arisu descubre que en realidad todos pudieron sobrevivir :/ y juntos salen de ello.

Nmms, que coraje, Nanase merecía vivir, en fin Arisu y Usagi tienen una preciosa nena.
