He was happy to be a brother and an uncle to the growing Station Seven family, but one day changes everything.
Callan "Fish" Bass is a happy guy who loves his life. A lot. Working at Station Seven of the San Antonio Fire Department is the job he's wanted since he was a little kid. All it took was a school field trip to the local fire station and he was hooked.
He's seen a few of his fellow firefighters fall in love while he's been working with them, but he's just never found a woman who really caught his interest.
Sage Allen feels like she's failing at everything. She tried to convince her sister to leave her abusive boyfriend, but she was too late.
Now she has custody of her nephew and his father won't leave them alone. She struggled to prove herself as a sister and fears that she'll fail as an aunt.
When Callen meets Sage and her nephew, he's amazed at the strain the young family is struggling under and he wants to help them in anyway that he can.
He's surprised how easily they fit into his life and when it comes right down to it, he finds himself in love with his ready made family. He'll do anything to protect them and provide a loving Shelter for Sage.
This is another great story about first responders from Reina Torres. Fish is a firefighter that responds to a wreck involving Sage and her nephew, Milo. His feelings for them are almost immediate. Milo has a feeling of security with Fish. He's been through some really tough times and clings to Fish. Sage has feelings for him, too. Some things...some families are just meant to be.
Ms. Torres has written another wonderful story of love, family and friends. I really love her stories!
Thanks to the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.
Fish may rescue Milo from the car, but it is Sage and Milo that rescue him from a life he didn't know was lonely. He is so gentle with Milo, and doesn't hesitate to act when he realises he is the safety net Milo needs until Sage is recovered, it is beautiful to see the bond they form and they are such a sweet family together. All are hesitant and almost too scared to hope, but Fish fell for both the sweet boy and his overwhelmed aunt the second he pulled him from the car. Fish may not be the most confident when it comes to romance, but he knows immediately how he feels and what he wants...he and Milo just have to convince Sage to trust her heart too. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Shelter for Sage was awesome. I couldn’t put it down. I love this series that is set in Susan Stoker’s world. Fish works as a firefighter at Station 7. Those guys are a family. Reina Torres described Fish as a cinnamon roll, and that was the perfect description. He is sweet and everybody loves him. Fish hasn’t met the right person to share his life until the day that he meets Sage and her nephew Milo. They quickly come to have feelings for each other, and they make a great little family. When danger comes for Sage and Milo, Fish and the rest of the Station Seven guys are there to help. I can’t wait to read more about them.
Fish/Callan and the crew at Station 7 Fire Dept. come to the rescue when Sage and her nephew Milo are in an accident while trying to get away from Milo's father. I loved the way change in Callan after meeting Sage and Milo and I loved how protective he was over them. This is a page turning story with well developed characters and a sweet happily ever after. Great writing and a storyline that held my attention from beginning to end made this a wonderful read and a great addition to the San Antonio First Responders series.
Sage and Milo who is her nephew and after her sister's death she's now his legal guardian are on the run from his father. When they are ran off the road and in an accident Fish and the guys from Station 7 come to help them Fish has an instant connection to Milo. When they find out the accident wasn't just any accident the guys are there to help and protect them. Danger, chemistry and finding love.
Ahh Sage and Callan. I fell in love with Callan right from the start so I know how Sage felt. Their romance was a definite slow burn physically due to circumstances but you could definitely feel their emotion and connection growing as the story went on. And I absolutely loved Milo, Sage's nephew, and all of his scenes with Callan. What a cutie. Shelter for Sage will definitely warm up your heart and fill you with that holiday spirit. A very heartwarming and sweet story.
Firefighter Callen aka Fish, meets Sage after she crashed her car while being chased. Life has been hard for Sage and Milo since they have to always be on the move. Can Fish save them from the evil that is after them? Fish and Sage have great chemistry together. The connection between Fish and Milo was so heartwarming. Loved the sweaters! Milo was so adorable. Excellent read! Can't wait for her next book!
Ms. Torres has given us another impressive First Responders story. Sage and Milo's story is tragic and when Callan meets Milo he is drawn to the little boy and his Aunt. This is a story of danger, trust, family support and love. A spectacular read. I received this ARC and voluntarily give my review.
I love this series and the author. This book was amazing. I really enjoyed the instalove between Callan, Sage and Milo. I went through all the emotions with this story; there was laughter and tears. Callan's family, both biological and work, are what I wish we all had. I fell in and didn't want back out.
This is a really sweet, sweet read. I found the characters Callan and Sage quite endearing, throw in Milo, and what a winning combination. I found the writing to be wonderful and fitting perfectly with their characters. A little bit of drama, but the whole team works together to solve the situation. I enjoyed this read.
Shelter For Sage: Callan thought it would be another at.the station. Then they had several calls.and.then.one.really bad accident with a women's nd a child. He thought that he would never find love! That night changed all of their lives. It was a wonderful story!
Excellent addition to the San Antonio fire department, Fish and station 7 are called to a car accident, rescuing Sage and her nephew Milo he falls in love with the little boy while holding him while he's sleeping, even the drool on his shirt doesn't deter him, taking them home with him he wants to keep them forever, love them forever, beautiful story, thank you, Dana Zamora
It was good to get back to the first responders and the Rangers. Sage and Milo (her nephew) are on the run from Milo's dad after his mom died. That's how she meets Callan (Fish). There's some danger, love at first sight and the antics of Milo. HEA.
Sages sister died and left her son Milo for her to raise. The father was a dead beat dad. Sage kept driving to get away from the father. The father hit there car. Callan worked for the fire department and helped rescue Sage and Milo. Wonderful story.
Very cute story. The sort of Christmas rescue story that we can expect from Operation Alpha. This is mostly clean, I would rate it PG-13. I did see several errors but not enough to ruin the read. The happy ending was great!
Sage and Milo went sorta on the run trying to stay away from Milo’s dad. Callan aka Fish took a call and got them out of her vehicle incident. Fish fell for her and Milo sure does love Fish.
Sage Allen is Milo’s Aunt and guardian Milo is Sage’s nephew. Called “Fish” Bass. A firefighter and with San Antonio First Responders.
Sage and Milo met Fish at the accident and were rescued. There,is a definite chemistry and / or connection between them. Sage is on the run from ( Milo’s father and brother in law) trying to protect him.
Can Fish and his teammates keep them safe? Can they have a Happily Ever After?
This book has suspense, intrigue, action, a second chance at love.
Sage was running with Milo from his dad. When things started going really well with her, Milo and Fish it was hard for her cause she was waiting for the other shoe to drop.
It was so much fun returning to the First Responders of San Antonio. It's like visiting friends you haven't seen in a while. Sage and Milo have had a rough year. Sage is Milo's aunt. They are on the run from Milo's father, when the man causes an accident. That's when Callan "Fish' Bass and the crew from Station 7 come to the rescue. Fish is drawn to both Sage and Milo. He is determined to be there for them and protect them... no matter what. Before you know it, Sage and Callan developed feelings for each other. They have some serious hurdles to overcome to get the HEA they deserve. Get this book ASAP and find out what happens. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review
Sage has been on the run with Milo to protect him from his father. When her sister passed, she named Sage as his guardian. Looks like he found them. Fish is at the fire station when the accident call came in. He helped keep the child calm while they got the woman out of the car and went to the hospital with them. Sage and Milo have moved in with Fish. Feelings have developed and Fish hopes some day they can be a real family. Santa has kidnapped Milo. Every one is brought in to rescue Milo. Will they become a real family?
