Missouri Daddies #4

Daddies’ Little Spitfire

Rate this book
Hedda went through a traumatic event that changed her. Pulling into herself, she visited Springfield, Missouri to get away from everything. She knew it was a risk coming to Missouri when Oliver and Leo were there, but she didn't plan on seeing them. Fear and guilt gripped her life each day, pulling her further and further away from reality.

Oliver and Leo worried about Hedda. Knowing she was in Missouri, and not being able to see her, killed them. When Michael called them about Hedda, they took their opportunity.

Will Oliver and Leo be able to keep Hedda safe? Will they have what it takes to help her through everything?

Daddies’ Little Spitfire is the fourth installment in Everly Raine’s Missouri Daddies series. In it she chronicles the romantic journey of Hedda, Oliver and Leo. Readers met Hedda as a secondary character in His Perfect Little Storm. The trauma she experienced when she killed a man to save her friend. Leo and Oliver are twin brothers who fell in love with her via video chats. Now that she is in Missouri they are determined to make her theirs. They get her and take her to their place. As they help her cope and get better from her PTSD, their love deepens. However, her brother, Rogan, kidnaps her and takes her back to New York. Will Leo and Owen rescue her again? Will she heal from her emotional scars?

I appreciate her skill with literary devices such as conversation dialog and internal monologues, dual POV, and descriptive language. This plot is a character driven plot as readers witness the way the lead characters grow. I like how Leo and Oliver are patient, understanding, empathetic, protective, and caring with Hedda.

this was a complicated but good book

I thought at first that I was going to have to wash my eyes out with how many times I read the “F” word being thrown out. My goodness Hedda had a real potty mouth there for a while. Apparently after the incident with Richard things went from bad to worse for her. Oliver and Leo stepped in and took over her care and tried as hard as they could to be patient with her. This was a really good story line. The only draw back I could think of was how the author would repeat over and over again what the characters were thinking. She may have changed the wording somewhat but still. I understand Leo and Oliver’s need to reinforce what they were saying but I think at times it took away from the story. I love how these books are about the characters and their feelings and not focusing on the sexual side of things. That makes these stories 100% better I think.

A well written story

Gosh, this book was an absoulute doozy to read, Hedda really was in a bad way and a bad head space after a shooting incident. Nightmares after nightmare plaqued her and if that wasnt bad enough she couldnt sleep and was loosing heaps of weight. Untill two men were called in to help out. Leo and Oliver had already made up their minds to be her daddy and Papa but when the call came to help, they didnt at all hesistate to come.
What follows in this story an intense, emotional and its a story that you wont want to put down, you will just have to find out if Hedda really is strong enough to let her daddy and Papa help out.

Everly Raine is making these books really stand out, her littles and middles certainly know how to attract attention of the reader. I am so looking forward to reading more of these books

I don't even know where to start with this review! As always please check trigger warnings and remember your limits!
I have been patiently waiting for Hedda's book for a while now and Everly didn't disappoint. I fell in love with Leo and Oliver over and over in this book because of the kindness, love, and care they showed Hedda during the time that she struggled. The twists and turns that this book took kept me on my toes and I couldn't put it down. I love all three of them together and I can't wait to see more of them in the future. I felt all the emotions while reading and couldn't have asked for a better book. The focus of the book was more on helping Hedda overcome her struggles, but once the spice did occur it was great. I love that the author keeps you hooked on the plot without relying on spice to keep you intrigued.

I am in love with this series of books, I literally have my calendar marked for the release day of each new one. I have no idea what I'm going to do when it's all over. I love the interweaving between this series and the Ricci crime series. The characters just flow with each other.
In my opinion you do need to read the books in order, I feel that the story flows better.
April 19th and June 7th can not come soon enough, I need the next instalments. (But I never want it to end)
If you love over protective Daddies, with some crime drama slotted in you will love all of these books, This author has a fan and I'm looking forward to other titles to get my reading fix sorted.

this was intense to read. She was a major brat. Like a stubborn brat but for good reason. I slowly like her in the end. But it was a slow burn for me. or maybe i was reading it slow. Idk. I liked how patient her daddies were. Always caring and watching out for her. I did learn something new. Shibari? Rope play but not really. Loved it. the rope grounding you away from dark thoughts. I kinda skipped the spice parts. Idk if i consider myself a little but it gave the ick after her cool down and all for sudden they’re both turned on. it was interesting. The caring, protective, and discipline and mental part was what fascinated me about Daddy doms/littles ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daddies’ Little Spitfire is the fourth book of the Missouri Daddies series. While this series can be read as standalone, I would highly recommend to read the previous books as the characters are interconnected.
Leo and Oliver are twins who fell in love with Hedda but due fo some past trauma Hedda has completely shut down herself and tries to stay away from the twins. However when Hedda's health keeps on worsening, the twins step in and take her under their care. I absolutely love how patient Leo and Oliver are with Hedda.

Hedda, Oliver and Leo

I was super excited to finally read Hedda’s story and it did not disappoint. Hedda is super deep in her trauma but Oliver and Leo are so deeply in love with her they slowly pull her out of her own head. Hedda’s brother is kind of a jerk but I hope we get his story at some point. There is only one spicy scene and a couple punishments so definitely more plot oriented. I have loved this series from the beginning and can’t wait for the next one.

Good story

If you can get past the miss spelled words, sentences that make no sense, the miss use of past and present tense words or the constant repetition of the same lines over and over again...
It's a decent story...
I do not understand the 5 star only reviews posted for this book...

I expected to like this, but the whole kidnapping her, imprisoning her and forcing themself on her, was just a bit too much for me rn, especially when they then got mad when someone else did the same exact thing under the same banner of «for her own good». No one respected or cared for her in any healthy way here.

Kindle - the build up took forever but the resolution took a few pages. Definitely could have use more discussion/interaction between Haddie and her brother, her brother and the twins and all 4 together. Also seems so contradictory that her brother is a daddy but also didn’t seem to take any interest in her health or care. Better development there is definitely needed to sell that story.

Healing journey mixed with some cute interactions and a dash of kidnapping.

These books are entirely too long for the content.

Content warnings: kidnapping, age play (Middle), bdsm themes (Ropes, spanking, etc.), polyamory, PTSD (with vivid nightmares), suicidal ideation

My rating: 2.75/5

Spice: 1.5/5

LOVE this series so much!! Everly has woven such a great world for us to step into!!
Hedda has suffered through a very traumatic experience, she has no clue how to help herself.
Leo and Oliver are just who she needs to see this through back to the bright side! Now if her brother would just mind his own business all would be right in her world!!
Can't wait to for the next book!!!

Daddies Little Spitfire

The story was good. Very believable. The writing, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Sentences and paragraphs that change points of view and tense with no rhyme or reason. Sigh. I know I expect a lot but....

Over all I really enjoyed the book but she forgave her brother way too fast. He was so extremely abusive and mean and she forgave him too fast, he was also a hypocrite on the ddlg dynamic. He needs to grovel and beg for forgiveness.

I am not going to put in spoilers but the brothers do have the patience that any normal person wouldn't --but Hedda did have some spoiled brat, my way or the highway type moments which the author was able to turn around and make her lovable in the end. Just a really great read in my book.

Hedda, Oliver, and Leo! OMG!!! Y’all this was amazing and i absolutely enjoyed it! The fact that these men never once leave her and fight for her just upped my standards for men! She was so angry and they were so loving! I loved how it ended and how the story played out!

Hedda has had it rough, I'm glad that everything works out for her. Her, Leo and Oliver are sweet together. I love the support and understanding that the guys gave her. It is a great read with some amazing characters main and secondary.

Very triggering

Part of this book has me horrified in the justification of kidnapping and individual, but the heart behind it is what makes it morally gray. I was torn but ended up loving the book.

Daddies' little spitfire

Hedda went through some serious trauma with now all the PTSD symptoms; being convinced she does not deserve forgiveness, understanding or love. However the twins are there, always, fighting for her even against herself.

Wrote the heck outta this one

Honestly this is one of the best renditions of losing your mind I've ever read. She really expressed losing your grip on reality in such a realistic and well done way. Loved this read over all.

Another exciting addition to the series!
I’m constantly amazed at the intertwining stories she’s imagined up. Hedda isn’t my favorite FMC, but it all worked out in the end. Leo and Oliver are literal saints and I can’t wait to read Rogan’s story!

Patience and rewards

Loved how she tried so hard for so long to push them away, and watching slowly start to beak the walls down.
