Alan’s search for the killer framing him continues! But why are the murder victims people from Alan’s past, and how does this connect to his brief stint in Arkham Asylum?!
Obviously it's a superhero story...but it's more focused on Scott's personal life and his self admittance into Arkham to "cure" him.
The story needs to kick in a bit more...well the mystery part does anyway...and that seems to be happening next issue...especially with that guest star...
I think the writers are doing a very good job portraying what they need to to tell this story. I am absolutely not going to look at the reviews and comments, I imagine they're toxic. Maybe not all of them. But I think that it's a solid look into how awful our history was, and what it did to people, and how broken mental health asylums are, and were. And what was criminal in the past that we should feel ashamed of, etc.
Then, also, what is the red light? So it's a good superhero story, and a good historical fiction story.
This was a great story. We got to follow Alan's time in Arkham as a result of his sexuality in the 40s. It's really interesting to see that time in his life and how it affected him. It's sad to see that many people facing such dire consequences as a result of factors they can't control. It's sad to see them demonized. It's a really effective way to make us care for Alan, his struggle is real and powerful!
