Marley Winter fled her small-town life ten years ago to protect her heart. Now, she spends her days hidden away, penning the perfect happily-ever-afters, and her nights haunted by what she left behind. Going home for the holidays is the last thing she wants to do, but her sister is relentless.
Jackson Greene never forgot the one who got away and broke his heart. He thought they’d build a life together, but that wasn’t meant to be. He’d thought he moved on and put it all behind him until the reason for his heartache magically appears, wearing an elf costume and a smile that knocks his whole world off kilter.
Two star-crossed lovers. One overbearing sister. An unlikely matchmaker.
Sometimes running away is necessary to realize home is right where you belong.

Most days she lives in her own world of crazy because the voices inside her head hold some great conversation. Born in sunny Southern California, she recently made the big leap with her family to the East Coast and couldn’t be happier. You'll still find her in flip-flops all year round.
This was the perfect Christmas treat! I always struggle with holiday books and this one definitely changed my mind! Who wouldn't love a tall muscly drink of water wearing a black Stetson. Marley and Jackson have been separated for 10 years. After a tragic accident pulls them apart, Marley has avoided her hometown, and him, for years. One trip home and she realizes why she fell in love with him in the first place. Once she realizes she deserves his love, nothing can tear them apart again.
This author never fails to keep me on my toes at all times. Lol… doesn’t matter if the books are light and funny or dark and depraved… this adorable second chance Christmas read was chef’s kiss…. It had laughter, tears, healing, family, memories, spice, and so much more … I only wish it had been longer … I was drug in within pages … Marley and Jackson needed to heal from the past and learn how to be them again … She needed to come home and face her fears of loss and deal with the guilt she had no business feeling …. Jackson needed to fight for his happiness and hood on tight …
"Winter's Wonderland" ... sigh! Super sweet second chance short story. A few holes that I would love to have had more detail or backstory on. Emily and Javi = fun! James is hysterical. Mar and Jackson ... you just had to root for them! A good book to cuddle up with on a cold December night.
