The Mexican cartels have never been busier. Drugs are flowing across the U.S.-Mexico border, but something else is flowing too—human trafficking—the “selected” ones headed for a life of sexual slavery. While on their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, Blake and Cindy are confronted by a distraught mother whose fourteen-year-old daughter has just been grabbed off the street in her school uniform and whisked away. While Blake still hasn’t come up with a new tagline for his private investigation business, “We Find Stuff” will have to do for now as Cindy convinces him to sign on to find Isabella. His efforts will take him to Dallas, Texas, where he’ll find himself trying to outsmart and outplay the very dangerous Los Zetas Cartel. How will Blake find Isabella? And if he finds her, how will he rescue her without the cartel knowing about it and retaliating against her family in Mexico? Blake will have to use all his skills to find this “stuff”.

This is one fantastic novel. I just love reading about Blake Moran and his wife, Cindy. He is a detective and his motto is "we find stuff".. This time, while on his honeymoon in Cancun, they are approached by one of the maids. Her 14 year old daughter, Isabella has been taken by the cartel.
I really enjoyed this one and of course, Blake is always funny to give you a laugh along the way. But, this time, he is up against the Mexican cartel and try to find Isabella and where she may have been taken. It really is a novel for today and deals with the the border crossings and all that is going on in our country today.
Never disappointed with a Davis Mac book. This one was right on. Can’t wait until the next one. Usually I wait until a series is completed before starting it but with these books I cannot wait. Thank you Davis Mac for giving me humor, intrigue and suspense.
Another fun and interesting Moran adventure. Cindy Lou who fits right into the stories. Hopefully there will be more superhero stories for us to all enjoy.
Great read. This book has Cindy and Blake married, and their relationship just gets funnier with each book.
As with the last book, I felt the author went a bit overboard with debates between characters. This time it was global warming. I agree with the author, but it had nothing to do with the story, and the preacher's daughter didn't either.
But it was still a suspenseful and funny read, and I am looking forward to the next book.
