“And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles.” Mormon 9:19
In our day, we have not witnessed the Red Sea parting, but does this mean that miracles have ceased? On the contrary—among members of the Church, there have always existed sacred and profound experiences that serve to uplift individuals and strengthen families. Now, readers can be edified by the faith-affirming accounts shared inDivine Intervention, a collection of inspiring tales of survival from Church leaders, political leaders, and everyday individuals. These Latter-day Saints share life-changing miraculous moments—from President Snow’s survival on the storm-tossed sea to the harrowing account of a baby boy who cheated death. Every narrative is unique, but one thing ties them together: each story demonstrates the Lord’s love for His children and evidences the reality of marvelous miracles occurring in our day.

Sometimes when we say we feel so blessed because ____________ happened....others feel that they must not be so blessed because it didn't happen that way for them.
BUT...
I believe that we should always be grateful and share the miracles that happen in our lives...
BECAUSE...
They are powerful manifestation that God is there and that he does bless us...even if those blessings are not the ones we were looking for.
God has a plan and His plan is always the best one!
This books shares 17 times the Lord stepped in and gave "divine intervention."
These stories are uplifting and inspiring!
They give us lessons to learn from!
You will read about an attack by a bear, an attack by a lion, falls from a cliff, plane crashes, and drownings among other stories.
You will feel the love of family and friends and know that "the Lord extends his mercy to all of us and is always there waiting for us to come to Him."
These stories are SO WORTH READING! LOVED each one of them! A DEFINITE MUST READ BOOK!
It was an interesting book and reminded me of the "Mysterious Ways" page in Guideposts magazine. Heavenly Father is aware of each of us and will bless us in the way we need. We need to stay in tune to the promptings of the Spirit.
An excellent book. True stories of miracles in people's lives that can touch others. It just convinces me more that God is in charge and is aware of each of us. I think we may all have some experience of God's miracle in our own lives if we open our eyes and see.
This was an interesting book filled with true stories of divine intervention. It showed that even when we don't listen to promptings and get ourselves in trouble, the Lord still loves us and will help us. It contained many faith-inspiring stories.
Good Sunday reading, this book traces many people's miracles--various incidents that should have killed them, but instead, they lived because of divine intervention. Fun reading.
While I have a hard time reading about grisly details of accidents I found my faith strengthened to see how these lives were preserved through divine intervention.
