So, I'm a bit lost for words. You know, every time one of you praised this book, I thought, yeah, another filthy smut-filled book that I'm sure I'll read at some point the next time I get into one of my sex-addicted states of mind.
So, now I've been in such a state for two days and have read a few books that were really bad, but should cure me of this craziness in my head. And finally, this one. Four men, little plot and sex sex sex, just what I need right now to find some peace of mind.
And then this book comes along and I almost go into cardiac arrest.
Holy moly, this is probably one of the best dirty things I've ever read and I finally understand why everyone has their panties in a twist.
Give me Jacob's ladder piercings and I'm a drooling mess. I don't think showering will help any more ... 🤤🤤🤤

This is ends on a cliffhanger because this is the prequel of what will be a MMMM romance. I usually hate cliffhangers but I didn’t give one fuck about this one because as crazy as it was, it didn’t affect my feelings about how hot this was and how much I enjoyed it. Now that I know what the actual book will be about due to the cliffy, I’m excited to read it when it comes out but not being able to read it now won’t kill me.
It’s hinted at that this author writes under a different popular pen-name and I’m curious who it is but I couldn’t figure it out when I googled it. Anyone know?

but this was also somehow so insta-lusty it just got boring. And it wasn't even that hot. Like, it was hot, but it just didn't make me want to re-read, ya know?
In hindsight I don't think MM+ is for me. I'm usually on the fence with MFM+ (or why-choose) and when it's queer, as it turns out, it's no different. There is really only a handful of excellent poly-romances out there and this does not hit the mark.
The remarkably high rating of this novella frankly confuses me. Yes it's hot, but inarguably not the hottest you can read. like often with specifically kink-tailored erotica, potentially this is read more by people who are predisposed to like this dynamic rather than readers (like me, come to find out) who are curious what the fuss is about.
Hopefully, I am also biased because to me, shorts or novellas are dissatisfying apriori. When they are prequels, I find i rate them higher when I have read the full-length sequel. So just waiting for that full length baby I guess.
In conclusion it's on me that I expected this to be something it wasn't, as it contains multiple formulas that don't work for me personally on the best day.

Quite sad over this book. I can’t give this higher as I’ve expected this book to turn me on and give me a boner (like fr), but sadly, it didn’t. It’s also not true if I say this isn’t my cuppa bcs I definitely enjoyed this trope any where else, and I enjoyed something weirder than this, and I am also a whore for masked men. Disappointingly, I find this a little too on top of the surface. Don’t get me wrong, I tried to get into it and the kinks were awesome, but the execution wasn’t as good as the kinks.
To me, the dirty talks felt very repetitive and tried so hard to be hot, but ended up being easily skimmed. It was WHORE, WHORE, WHORE but didn’t actually make me feel like a whore reading it. Their interactions were a bit bland, they had sex and suddenly Toby claimed he was obsessed with the MC. I know this is PWP, but jumping like that also don’t help me understand their chemistry. I also didn’t see any sexual chemistry between Jace, Toby and the MC let alone the other guy. Note that sexual chemistry between characters is totaly different than merely hot sex. And this one laaaacked of that particular chemistry. Probably bcs this is a prequel, but still, suck bcs people definitely don’t pick this up just for the series.

Oh my word, if I were a pearl clutcher there would be pearls all over the floor right now. That was so freaking hot that I couldn't look my family in the eye for a while after finishing it. I'm a little worried that an entire novel like this will annoy me, but this short teaser was...whew! Somebody please give Oliver an ice pack, though. And, like, ten gallons of water and a granola bar.

This started of good, but it's frustrating that Oliver came in the picture and the total disregard the other three have for each other, and there's another book where they're all supposed to be together. After this intro, I can't see how a strong bond can be formed from that.

This book was a journey like no other. Super kinky and really quite intense. The initial encounter between Oliver and his three men in ghostface masks was one of the sexiest things I've read this year. I have high hopes for the full length novel. As much as I loved that the novella was so sex heavy, I hope the novel will be a little better balanced with more plot. I'm curious to know more about each of the MCs. It's the perfect novella for when you feel the need to take a trip to the wild side.

I always love the story line of how the main character doubts themselves and how no one can possibly love them because they're not good enough but the other characters make sure that they know they are loved and are special.
And that little cliffhanger at the end? I can't wait for a full book from these boys! This book was so hot I can't even imagine how a full book will be. GO READ IT!!!

Very silly, very dirty, lots of fun on the latter count, plenty of redeeming social value in that the gentlemen taking our narrator apart take a firm stance (I said what I said) concerning shame and how it has no place in consensual sex. Also, they call him Cum drop, which makes this book the one and only instance of a text in which I can abide that spelling of the relevant fluid. Don't ask me why the D is lowercase.
Something happens at the end that results in Oliver the Cum D/drop going off in a huff, but TBH I was paying attention only to the sex scenes so I can't tell you what he was pissed off about and I don't really care; anyway, one is assured that a second installment is forthcoming. As, I surmise, are Oliver and his suitors.
