‘A moving coming of age story’
In a world craving heartwarming stories, Whispers of Broken Memories by Lisa Bosch brings to life a powerful tale of love, growing up and change.
The book perfectly describes falling in love for the first time, going to high school and eventually college. This is a must read for every teenager, and anyone who loves tragic but sweet coming of age stories.
The characters are exceptionally well-written, they truly come to life. The POV changes between the two main characters, making it very easy to understand (and relate to) both of them.
The author describes locations and situations in a very detailed way. One thing that I loved about this book was that there are many symbols that keep recurring.
The story itself is intriguing, tragic, sweet and moving and it really keeps your attention as a reader.
In the middle of the book there is an unexpected plot twist, which makes the book even more interesting. I think I finished the second part in a day, because I just kept turning page after page.
I think my favorite part of the book was the ending, without spoiling anything, I can say that I had tears in my eyes while reading the final few pages.
Ultimately, Whispers of Broken Memories is a captivating tale of romance and growing up.
So, I 100% recommend this if you’re in the mood for a tragic but wholesome coming of age story.

I’m normally not a fan of wholesome books, but this one really did it for me!
I loved “growing up together” with the characters in the book, yelling at them and celebrating their victories. 10/10 would read again.

I liked it a lot! Haven't read as much lately and only today made my goodreads account but like this book was really fun! I usually only read classics but this was a gift from a friend and I would definitely say more people should read this!
