"Silenced"

by Vivian Ireton

Rating:5/5

Review:

👉It was a journey into the heart of suspense, crime, and unexpected connections. 📚✨ This gripping novel, the inaugural installment in The PSV Series, masterfully intertwines the worlds of Detective Logan Trenton and Social Worker Cassandra Welton as they navigate the treacherous waters of a serial killer on the loose in Chicago. 🕵️‍♂️🏙️

👉The narrative unfurls with a relentless pace, each chapter laced with anticipation and unforeseen twists. Ireton's skill in crafting a complex web of mystery is evident, ensuring that every page holds a new revelation or a heightened sense of intrigue. The killer's signature, a macabre touch, becomes a haunting motif that adds depth to the unfolding drama. 🎭🕵️

👉What sets "Silenced" apart is the rich character development, particularly the poignant portrayal of mute victim Victoria Tanner. The author delicately weaves her story into the fabric of the investigation, infusing the tale with empathy and emotional resonance. The exploration of the characters' personal lives, especially Cassandra's romantic entanglements and the evolving partnership with Detective Logan, adds a layer of complexity to the narrative, making it more than just a crime thriller. 💔🤝

👉The thematic underpinning of faith and the characters' search for answers imbue the story with a spiritual dimension. It's not merely a procedural mystery but a soulful exploration of justice and the human spirit. 🙏❤️

👉The book's title, "Silenced," proves apt as it encapsulates the chilling silence of the crime scenes, the muted pain of the victims, and the unspoken struggles of the protagonists. The cover design, too, deserves commendation for capturing the essence of the story visually. 📖🌟

👉In the end, "Silenced" is a testament to Vivian Ireton's storytelling prowess. The narrative keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the multi-faceted characters stay with you long after the final page. If you're seeking a book that seamlessly blends suspense, emotion, and a touch of romance, "Silenced" is a compelling choice. 🌈📚✨

What a wonderful crime story! The two main characters, Cassandra and Detective Logan, were very likable and in my opinion, made the story great. The writer captured your attention right from the beginning of page 1. I love crime stories and this one was a real page turner. What a brilliant new author. I really look forward to book 2. A++

A truly enjoyable page turner; cleverly written Christian based suspense crime thriller with romance sprinkled throughout. Dramatic plot will keep you guess and not wanting to put this novel down, while you enjoy the engaging dialogue. What I enjoyed most is the author's theme of Christ at this work's core. Very well done!

I've never read a murder mystery with a Christian theme but this author managed to pull it off! The sweet growing romance between the main characters contrasted sharply with the grizzly scenes of violence and that made you keep turning pages!
