A total page turner! You can’t wait to see what happens next with the story! Sherri does a great job developing the characters that I’ve started to feel like I know these people.

Another great book written by Sherri Kukla!

Wow! I received this advanced copy of Dry Bone Calling right after I finished book 1: Suspicious Minds.
I can honestly say that while I liked book 1, book 2 was even better! So many twists, so many different characters to fall in love with (and maybe or maybe not to trust…) and such honest and heartwarming inclusions of faith. Would absolutely recommend both books!

Paying donors for organs that they can live without, and then taking organs that they cannot live without, making them victims.

Although I really liked the plot and the story development, I was very frustrated throughout, at what I can only describe as procrastination. It seemed as though just when a pivotal piece of information was about to be revealed, there was a phone call or a doorbell to prevent the person from getting important details to help solve the case. This happened multiple times and I wondered if its purpose was to make the story increase in length. It seemed to be an attack on the reader’s intelligence. Anyway, because I liked the story, I gave it 3stars. This was an ARC and I wish I could rank it higher.

I just finished Dry Bones Calling, and WOW!! What a great story about a group of people involved in illegally harvesting and selling human organs. The author made me feel like I was right there in the middle of all the action. Suspense, plot twists, sad tears, happy tears, friendships, and God's forgiveness and love, and just a bit of sweet romance. I hope Sherri Kukla continues this series. I want to read more by this author.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The opinions and comments are entirely my own.

From the first word to the last, the intensity of this storyline held me captive! So many vividly described characters, so many pieces of the puzzle, each waiting to be put in it’s place, one can’t help but expel a long breath, thinking that finally the big picture is evident. But wait! There’s more? Oh yes, more suspicion, more danger, more accelerated heartbeat, and yes, even a bit of romance intertwined through it all! What a story! I eagerly await this author’s next endeavor!

I received an advanced copy for review purposes. Loved this second book of the series. Even though I thought I knew who the culprits were, with the twists and turns I was never 100% sure. I love when a story keeps you guessing and this one does. Great character development and plot. The story keeps moving along so you don't ever want to put it down.

It had been awhile since I read the first book so it took a bit to get back into the characters.
Liked the short chapters as I knew I could read one or two and then get some work done and come back to it.
