Tangled in a dangerous web woven by mobsters, a convict after revenge, and a crooked federal agent, Mason finds himself hunted by none other than the US Marshal who trained him. On the run and with nowhere to turn, Mason’s only lifeline is a mobster he put into witness protection—a move that proves more dangerous than he could have imagined. Mason is still working as a bouncer in a nightclub when a heated discussion with a new employee and then getting involved in breaking up a fight, ends up with the employee getting murdered and Mason in the frame for it.

Ultimately this is a tale of revenge, for people on one hand who are out to punish Mason for previous actions, and Mason himself out to find out who is trying to set him up and punish them for doing so. It's fast, it's furious, lots of violence and it's a real thrilling read. The ending sets things up nicely for the next book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you, BookSirens and Nick Stevens for the copy of Nowhere to run. This is book three in the Mason Ashford series and if you love crime thrillers you will love this one. It’s fast-paced, has a great story and will keep you intrigued until the end. The villains are really nasty, which made this book more graphic and gory than I remember the other books being. Mason continues to be an exciting hero and I look forward to the next book because we might learn more about his family. You can read this as a standalone, but the whole series is great! 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

Former US Marshall Mason Ashford just wants to continue his quite peaceful life as the head of security for a famous night club, but an old enemy planned their revenge and suddenly Mason is accused one of the employees. When he looks for help from a man he put into witness protection he's already desperate. Lots of action again and some twists and turns in this fast paced third instalment of this series. I'm looking forward to read about Mason's further adventures.
