This book was everything I could have wanted for these two. There were ups and down tears and angst you name it. It was in this book. This is book 3, and ends with a very hard fought happily ever after. It was not always sunshine and rainbows for these two. You are going to want to make sure to read the first two books to see how we ended up where we are. Be sure to keep the tissues handy as this book will have you.
The last book for Julien and Elijah, I have been waiting for this, but I also didn’t want it to end. They are so cute together. They went through so much in the previous books, and off course, Miss Wyer had to add some drama to this one as well. But they come out of all that tragedy even stronger, as a person but also, as a couple. There are also snippets from the love triangle between Liz, Jayson and Ryder, and somehow Fallon also has some part in it. And I am so looking forward to his book…! The part of Fallon that is shown in this book, made me appreciate him so much more than in the previous ones. The epilogue, it made me cry. Almost everything is perfect (you know when you’ve read it) and they all have the lives and love they deserve. I’m sad that their journey toward their HEA is over, but this will be one I read many more times in the years to come.
Will Julien and Elijah get their HEA?OMG... I'm blown away with the ending to Julien and Elijah's story. I needed the tissues handy to read the end of this series. It was truly emotional, and I absolutely loved it!! Absolutely brilliant series, a fantastic storyline with truly remarkable characters, and the HEA was superb. I received an ARC copy of this book from the author, and I'm willingly leaving an honest review.
Wow! What a beautiful ending to a beautiful story. I’ve loved Julien and Elijah since the very beginning but finally getting to see their story fully unfold was absolutely brilliant. And their wedding?? Holy cow! That was amazingly well done. I could see it like a movie playing out. I’m so sad that their story is over but it was truly a wonderful one.
A beautiful conclusion to this couple's story. One thing you should know about Julien and Elijah's story is it’s set in the same timeline as her Fallen Brook series, All Out Next Times, Broken Butterfly and Paper Stars Rewritten. You do not have to read those three books to be able to read this one. Both Julien and Elijah have roles in those books but this Forever M/M romance series is their story and explores what they were going through during that time.
If you read the Fallen Brook trilogy you would’ve already fallen for these two especially Elijah. We get to meet them all Over again with very key moments that if you did read that series first you can get a fresh take coming from the pov of their love story. Starting from their meeting and falling for each other in high school. What I loved about this book was not only do we get their personal HEA. Unlike the first two this one for me wasn’t as angsty it was simply them getting to the conclusion and the endgame that is them. Some things they had to deal with had to be dealt with but unlike the first two they were in a place of this is who I’m going to end up with. The series isn’t overly steamy and in my personal opinion didn’t need to be and if it was I think it would’ve taken away from their love story. I’d was amazing to read from book one when they met as teenagers and grew up feeling things for each other. Where Elijah knew and was comfortable With his s*xuality, Julien was in a bi awakening moment. Their love started sweet and grew from there. From their first time learning each other and exploring to becoming a couple who knew each other so well. This was a special love story for me.
Jennilynn has always done a very good job at setting up future interconnected books and one that she did build up well is Fallon’s future book. His storyline most of her readers, I’m very very much looking forward to. It’s going to be emotional and beautiful.
Forever Mine is the conclusion to the epic love story of Julien and Elijah. Their relationship has intrigued me since reading the Fallen Brook series. Their story is one of heartache, friendship and true love. Yes, they have been put through hell and survived the worst of times. Ms. Wyer gives us a love story that is enthralling, addictive, emotional and on that is impossible to put down. She writes with such emotion that you find yourself pulled in right from the start. She promised us a story that would not fill her cup with her reader's tears and she delivered. Yes, at times I was emotional but I feel it was due to the knowledge of the back story of the characters and what everyone had been through. Julien and Elijah are two souls that were bound to be together even though there were times when it looked like life had other plans for them. In Forever Mine the two of them made sure that they communicated, shared everything and didn't keep anything from one another. The way that they put one another first was heartwarming. Even though Julien was dealing with the return of his childhood best friend, he did not lose focus that Elijah was the man for him and placed him at the top of his list. Not all relationships are smooth sailing and theirs was no different. Yes, they had a few bumps in the road but the love that they shared was strong enough to survive anything life through at them. I couldn't stop smiling at the ending of this book and of this trilogy. To finally see the two of them happy and finding their way to one another was memorable. I will forever love their story and these books will be ones that I will read over and over. I did a happy dance when I saw that Fallon was included in this series and was a true friend to Elijah.
??/5 i genuinely don’t know how to rate this i think this will be more of a rant than a review
i am SOOOOO upset with the way this author write these books SO upset.
starting with the first book: i feel as if the author focused TOO much on liz and the guys crushes on her. i genuinely was so confused i thought this was going to be a poly book because of that. i hateeee when everyone focuses on all their attention on one character and make them out to be this like amazing person everyone has a crush on. i just think that aspect of it was SOOO annoying
book 2: def my top book out of all 3 and you know why?? liz wasn’t in it. like yes the beginning was sooo annoying because everyone was still grieving her and then julian also has to go and get that fuck ass tattoo of her name. i also really liked how much influence fallon’s character had in this book. i just wished we got more backstory on him he was such an AMAZING friend like i seriously need to know why he also had a crush on liz what are they all seeing that im not?
book 3: UGHHHHHH UGHHHHH UGHHHHHH UGHHHH especially the end killed me. i am so upset to know that jayson’s relationship with ryder and especially jullian is close to non-existent because of a female like ?? i am so upset about that and i am also upset that fallon didn’t even show up to the wedding because of fucking liz (guys i am so mad this series it had such good potential)
overall i give this series a 2/5 im upset with the way it’s written i also feel as if there were too many unfinished plot lines like who killed liz’s family? why was that even included and i feel like we should’ve gotten some of the twins parents and ryder’s dad grieving them since they were all friends. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH this just ruined my day i am so mad

I'm so glad Elijah and Julien got their HEA! The things these boys went through and suffered, the struggles and fights they had to endure to stay together, they deserved it.
These two are just so melt your soul sweet, you can't help but root for them and hurt anyone who gets in their way.
*** Marking as spoilerish from here on.... ***
The wedding.... *swoon* This was so sweet and beautiful and everything they deserved! The whole found family in attendance. I'm pissed that Jay wasn't there, explanation letter or not.
David was a d!ck. He took a chance and made his feelings clear, but there's a point when enough is enough and no means no. Elijah was clear from the beginning there would be no chance for love only friendship between them, yet he kept pushing his boundaries, to the point where he literally gives the choose me ultimatum. Can't help but wonder if that scene was an 'accident'... just sayin?
The prologue... that 20 year gap made my heart hurt, because the copium is wearing off and I have to accept that it's the end. Glimpses of the gang all grown up with kids of their own, how their lives hasve turned out feels like we've grown old with them.

Forever Mine is the powerful and heart-wrenching conclusion to Jennilynn Wyer’s Forever M/M Trilogy. This deeply emotional friends-to-lovers, college M/M romance has left an indelible mark on my heart.
Julien and Elijah’s journey to their hard-fought HEA is nothing short of extraordinary. Their path is riddled with obstacles—just as they conquer one hurdle, another challenge looms around the corner. Yet, through it all, one truth remains steadfast: Julien’s unwavering belief that Elijah is his forever.
Ms Wyer masterfully delivers a gripping and emotional rollercoaster, keeping readers on edge, clinging to hope even in the darkest moments. The intensity and raw emotions woven throughout the trilogy reach their peak in Forever Mine, where every heartbreak and triumph feels profoundly real.
This story is a testament to love’s resilience and the courage it takes to fight for happiness.Ms Wyer’s writing is both compelling and beautifully poignant, ensuring that Julien and Elijah’s journey will stay with me long after the final page. If you’re a fan of emotionally charged romances with unforgettable characters, this trilogy is a must-read.
I've read around 7 books by Jennilyn Wyer and it's my 8th book and trust me, it's my favourite book by her. Forever Mine is third book in the Forever MM series which gives a beautiful ending to story of Elijah and Julien.
Elijah and Julien are my favourite couple and they have my heart. I connected wuth them a lot. As a reader and BL lover, reading this MM romance is like a best part of life. It has everything I could ask for. Though I'm not a big fan of friends to lovers trope but because of them it's now one of my favourite trope. There were angst, tears, smile, love and friendship. They had to face many challenges but each time they come out stronger. Their love was sweetest among all other characters. This book is perfect ending to the series with a heartwarming and hard-fought happily ever after.
You guys already know that I love Jennilyn's writing.
The Forever M/M Romance Series is an emotionally rich and deeply satisfying journey through love, vulnerability, and commitment. From the moment Elijah Barnes enters the story, the series shifts away from predictable romance and leans into something far more intimate and powerful. Each book builds beautifully on the last, allowing the relationship to evolve naturally while still delivering those intense, high-heat moments readers crave.
What truly stood out to me was how effortlessly the emotional depth and passion were balanced. The characters feel real flawed, guarded, hopeful and their connection grows stronger through honest communication, trust, and love that feels earned. This series doesn’t just tell a love story; it lets readers feel it. A compelling, heartfelt M/M romance that lingers long after the final page.
I have been waiting for my boys for what feels like FORever and Jennilynn Wyer DELIVERED them to me on a silver platter! I fell in love with Elijah and Julian IMMEDIATELY when I started this series and honestly? I did not want it to end. I know all things come to an end but whyyyyyyyyy 😅
What I love the most about this series is that I never reeeeeeally know what is going to happen or if I should grab my tissues or a new pair of sweats (IYKYK)! It’s not suspenseful yall, don’t get any ideas - I just mean that this story has a lot of twists and turns and it weaves into another series Wyer has written!
I had a million little heart eyes reading this book because even though these two go through it during the first two books, book 3 is proof that Elijah and Julian are IN FACT soulmates and would do anything and everything for each other. The epilogue?! I was in TEARS! So so so perfect!
I love Wyer’s writing! I feel so connected to her characters and to their lives and get completely attached to the story I can’t seem to stop reading. This was a great ending to an epic love story! 💙
Love it! This wonderful story that we get to see the hows of Elijah's and Juliens story. We have gotten bits and pieces in the FallonBrook series. For those that are hesitant to read M/M stories you are missing out on getting to know these two speciall men, their fierce love for each other and those that they love as family.
