Every ending is a beginning, unless the ending is final. With the First Elder Rune divided between them, Monty and Simon must confront Keeper Gault and stop him from undoing reality and everyone in it.

There’s just one obstacle.

The First Elder Rune is too strong for them, and not even an Archmage can help them now. As Gault strikes at those closest to them, he offers them one choice.

Surrender the rune…or everyone you know dies.

In order to harness the power of the rune, they must find a way to restore it without destroying themselves in the process.
They have a plan and only one opportunity to make it work.

Another good one in the series, the stakes just keep getting higher. Plus the bond between peaches and Simon just keeps getting stronger. I love this series

Quick and dirty fun

I actually forgot where I was with this series. A few years ago I reached the last book that had been published and never got back, but I kept the author in my Kindle Unlimited library so I could remember to return when more books had been written.

I’m glad I did. Mr. Sanchez is one of the folks who release on kindle unlimited that always delivers, and this entry is no different . Even though I think I ended up skipping ahead it was easy to get back into the groove thanks to the easy and engaging writing style.

Strong is a little to snarky for my tastes but I like the fact the character is often being drug along, like it or not, into his growth.

Monty is a fine, if less well defined character.

I am not sure I like where things have escalated though. We’ve gone from backyard baddies to Thanos Snap level. It seems like it will be difficult to pull back to more constrained storylines which means we will end up in “stupid ridiculous” land sooner rather than later, which is way less compelling IMO.

Wow! This First Elder Rune is causing issues for everyone! Monty and Simon have it, Gault wants it, and our heroes need to keep it from him as he wants to end the world as it is and recreate it in his image of perfect which is anything but. Our intrepid heroes are tested by Dex, Roxanne and Chi to make sure they ha ent become Dark Immortals, which involves fighting those closest to them.
And then there is dealing with the rune. The Rune needs to be made whole and Monty isn't strong enough yet to withhold it by himself nor is the first Keeper strong enough to facilitate the transfer so something radical has to happen, and that is where Kali makes an appearance. This helps with a change in Simon and helps in the coming battle with Gault. What a wild ride with twists and turns and strange choices but still having buildings blown up! Get ready and join Peaches and crew to help save the world again!

I enjoyed this newest book in the Montague & Strong case files.
This book continues after the First Elder Rune is split between Monty and Simon. Keeper Gault will use any means necessary to obtain the First Elder Rune, even destroying everything and everyone Monty and Simon hold dear. To protect everyone these two must be willing to sacrifice everything.
This book is more emotional for our trio, with Simon realizing and understanding more about who and what he is. The Mighty Peaches has some definite advice for Simon regarding their bond and what it can grow into. Monty is feeling his connections to those he loves and may have to make the greatest sacrifice to keep them safe. After a few conversations with Dex, Morrigan, Chi, and the help of a few more our trio may be able to stand against Keeper Gault. I also enjoyed Simon's conversation with Peanut. I think we may be seeing more of her in the future.

In this story, Monty and Simon have split the First Rune between them in order to contain its power. They're being hunted for the Rune by an ambitious, psychotic Keeper who wants to destroy everything and create a new world of his choosing. The odds are stacked more heavily against our intrepid trio than ever before, as the Keeper is much more powerful than they are, yet stopping him from ripping the Rune from them and taking away everything and everyone they care about is their only option. This one has all the fast-paced action, likeable main characters, snappy dialogue and strong supporting cast of the previous stories; but to me, there also is a more emotional undercurrent than usual. There is afear of death and loss hanging over the entire story and a strong dose of intent to sacrifice for family and those held dear. All in all, a complex and moving, but exciting urban fantasy that will hold your interest from the first page to the last!

Please Sir, can I have some more.

Orlando has knock this one right out of the park and over the Unisphere. The title, here, is important but I won't spoil why.

The stakes are getting larger, like having someone wanting to destroy everything so as to remake reality in line with their own view. To stop Keeper Gault, Simon,Tristan, and Peaches will have to reach deep into themselves, and even then nothing is guaranteed, except for Peaches love of sausage.

To come through this battle change, and growth, are needed,

Entropy is the end of the miny trilogy that is Lost Runes, Archmage, and Entropy. This one, is one of Orlando's best and I really wish I had Corpse Road in hand... waiting for the next book to drop is a pain that is a familiar companion in the M&S world as we greedily ask for more.

I love every Montague & Strong novel ... Mr Sanchez never fails to keep me entertained, with some tears and a lot of laughter.. this novel is as amazing as all the 20 books I have read in this series before which makes Mr Sanchez remarkable because he never lets this reader down. if you like excitement reading about mages, vampires, ogres oh My and many more supernatural creatures, and lets not forget the gods, then you definitely will love this and all the other 20 novels of this series. read and enjoy and just a word of warning you won't be able to put it down until you are done! I don't think I ever went to bed once I started his novels before I finished it! love love this series and hope every reader who reads them enjoys them as much as I have

STRONGer and STRONGer

Simply a superb series. A truly triumphant trio. It has been great fun reading along and watching the M&S Detective Agency grow and, gulp, mature. However, Mr. Sanchez is an avaricious spinner of tales and the stronger and wiser Simon and Monty become, the bigger, badder and scarier their foes. Thank you Mr. Sanchez for initially creating the dynamic duo of Simon and Monty, adding in the integral and truly awesome bond mate with the most fearsome of names as well as every other character in this strange ly odd and endearing parallel word you have given us!

Does not disappoint, a must read

Since this is book 21 it must be said I’m hooked on this series. The trio know what they need to do to, stop the rogue Keeper, the how is still a very loose plan. Keep family safe and trust in them is only the first step. Simon and Peaches have the hardest time in their learning curve but fortunately meat is life and their bond becomes stronger. As the dust settles after some modest M&S destruction Tristan going forward has his own new lesson, to move forward a step back is in order.

Entropy

21st Montague & Strong book “Entropy”
Orlando Sanchez’s latest foray into this world he has created is as fresh as the first book in the series that caught my attention a few years ago.
I can’t get enough of these characters. They are so well written that I feel that I am right there with them from start to finish. I can’t wait until the next book comes out. Also I suggest picking up other series that he has written you won’t be disappointed.

Just as fun as the first one!

And the writing gets better every time! I can get myself confused sometimes when I come back to the main M&S from the supporting character stories, but all of Sanchez' work in this world are fun, fast romps, and he does a great job of giving you just the right amount of info to move the story along without bogging you down. I always look forward to the next new book.

No Romance urban fantasy

Always end too soon, but then all stories with lovable characters do. I'm not good at reviews but if you are into urban fantasy type stories that aren't code for supernatural romance (hard gag!) you are in the right place. More Peaches and Uncle Dexter, please!!!! Would love to read a Dexter, Strong, & Peaches adventure; maybe while Monty is shifting to archimage!? There are just so many places they all could go, I can't wait to see.

Still going strong

Really a great read! I really love MSP (Montague, Strong,Peaches) and their saga continues with a great new story.

New and old characters jump in and the action is well paced. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The shades of gray in the characters really make the story come to life. Life is white, gray, black, and all the colors of the spectrum.

I am a big fan and have tracked down and read all of Mr. Sanchez work. MSP is still my favorite.

Holding my breath!!

Just when you think it cant get any better it does! I devoured this book. I was my own entropy disoulution. The last 30 pages had me almost hyperventilating. The battle was epic as was the journey to it. Simon has grown and there so many questions to be answered. Thank you for this grand adventure. Until book 22.

finally

If you haven’t started this series, you need to head back at least 20 books. If you have we are finally getting some battle mode Peaches, some affection for Roxanne and Chi and the always awesome Nan and the Midnight Echelon come in and show why everyone should FIGHT LIKE A GIRL! Even Olga gets in on the fun

All or nothing

The rollercoaster continues as our favorite trio embark on another do or die mission. The author attaches us at the hip from the first page and then forgets to remind us to keep our arms & legs inside the ride. All 3 are tested to the max this trip and we now have more questions needing answers. I'm sure there will be more tidbits coming soon.

M&S and their destruction continues

The best part of this book is finally seeing why Strong and Peaches are even scarier than they have been and why their bond makes them a potential Power. Add in Monty not to mention their significant others, relatives and other friends and partners and their potential for destruction and salvation is reaching significant levels.

Too Short, Action packed

This latest installment of M&S #21. 21 books and each one excellent. This one was an action packed ride. Lots of stuff going on as Montague and Strong take on an enemy that is far above their level. How do they do it and will they all come out unscathed? Questions answer here in this thrill ride of a book.

The destructive trio are back and must stop Keeper Gault before he completes his evil plan. This book brings to a conclusion the elder rune thread and will change there lives forever. After so many books, the series is still going strong and this is down to the author and the characters he has created.

Another amazing M&S book. Simon is maturing and learning more about his bond with The Mighty Peaches. Kali has a conversation with Simon while he and Monty are dealing with the First Elder Rune. Keeper Gault is a megalomaniac who wants to destroy everything and everyone so he can create a new world that he rules. Old friends make appearances to lend assistance. Highly recommend this series.

Really book 21?

It's crazy to think we've had this many Monty and Simon books!! This one went crazy fast!! I didn't want it to end! Sorry but if you haven't delved into the Monty and Strong world I'd start at the beginning. But it's so worth I promise. Our two have both gotten wider and stronger buy not without making enemies. How they manage is crazy but so worth it!!

OUTSTANDING!!!

One of the best M & S to date!!
The action is off the charts!! There are, dare I say, tender moments between our heroes and the women who scare and care about them...
There is quite a bit of growth in them all, yet none lose sight of who they are fundamentally..

Read the book to find out more!!

End of an Arc

Just wow. The end of the Keepers arc was definitely explosive. Monty, Simon and Peaches much finally put a stop to Gault before he destroys everything. I laughed, a lot which is usual. I cried twice, which is not and I especially enjoyed the 'mostly' dead reference to The Princess Bride

Breathing again.

I don't think I breathe through any of the books in this series. So much action, snark, and interactions. Great series. This last book wow. The Nightwing! I'm screaming with joy whenever they show up! All the characters, minor through the protagonists make this series work. Looking forward to new adventures

Growth and Family

Plenty of action, surely you have read some of the previous books in this series. The character growth is pronounced in this edition and it's about time. Monty has done well in advancing, now it's Simon's turn. And Peaches. Gotta love Peaches!!!!

Simon!?

Simon is definitely in the forefront of this story. Growing, learning. Battleform!
What is he now? Beyond human, but not a mage. Inmortal.
The Simon puzzle is complicated.
At some point Tristan and Simon are going to be closer to equals. I'm here for that ride!

Peaches!

Simon is truly maturing. (I need to visit a Confessional for that.) Monty and Peaches will keep him in check.

Meat is life. Roxanne in Battle Mode. Don't believe me. Read it for yourself. Chi is Chi. Awesome read!
