In the final installment of The End series, economies have collapsed, freedom has been suppressed, and peace is a distant memory.
The world is falling apart. Joshua Jordan’s protégé Ethan March, along with Jimmy Louder and Rivka Reuban, have been left behind in a world that is rapidly coming under the complete influence of the Antichrist.
Technology is growing by leaps and bounds with BID-Tag implants, robotic police units, and drone-bots flying overhead . . . all designed to control and dominate those who resist the Antichrist’s reign of evil. As Biblical prophecy is fulfilled each new day, Ethan and the others in the Remnant struggle to eat, to procure necessary goods, and to avoid the Global Alliance—in short, to survive.
But when the forces of evil attempt to pervert the world’s most powerful information system to their own sinister ends, eliminating everyone who gets in their way, it’s up to Ethan and the Remnant to subvert their dark ambitions.

Timothy "Tim" F. LaHaye was an American evangelical Christian minister, author, and speaker, best known for the Left Behind series of apocalyptic fiction, which he co-wrote with Jerry B. Jenkins.
He has written over 50 books, both fiction and non-fiction.
If action and suspense is what the reader seeks then this is the book to read. This is the last of a four part series coming to the ultimate ending. The pace is fast, there is a plethora of action, the suspense is thick and the betrayal meets karma. It is a very rewarding read.
Despite being a longtime Christian fiction fan, I'm not that crazy about the Left Behind franchise. It isn't all that well-written, and it goes on for way too long. However, I have enjoyed other works by Tim LaHaye, such as the Babylon Rising series...and this series, known as The End. This alleged conclusion is full of excitement and intensity. While I'm not sure the end of days is going to happen quite as this book says, it's a great action/adventure/suspense yarn nonetheless.
Even more relevant and prophetic in today’s climate than in 2016. I had an amazing time rereading this series!

If you enjoy end times biblical prophecy and fiction. This is the book for you. I really enjoyed it. I found myself opening my bible to review specific points discussed in this fiction telling of the end days. Biblically sound story. Check it out.
The conclusion to "The End" series by Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall. Drawing from various scriptures throughout this series; leaning on Revelation.
Joshua Jordan's protege Ethan March is left with a crew from earlier in the series to stop a global world takeover. We see the good and bad influence of technology through BID tag IDs and an internet shutdown and reboot to control people and information.
Ethan and his crew are part of the Remnant / Jesus Followers who use contacts and talents to take down the anti-Christ like figure of Alexander Collaquin who runs the Global Alliance. The US is a last hold out of letting this UN spokesperson take control of it.
I enjoyed the last half of the book more than the first leaving a disjointed and listening with only one ear syndrome. There seemed to be a lot of globe "hopping" and random stories, but all led up the conclusion.
Tim LaHaye & Craig Parshall in their new book, “Mark Of Evil” Book Four in The End series published by Zondervan brings us the concluding volume of The End series.
From the back cover: Economies have fallen, freedom has been suppressed, and peace is a distant memory. The world is falling apart.

From New York Times best-selling author Tim LaHaye, creator and co-author of the world-renowned Left Behind books, and Craig Parshall, Mark of Evil is the final thrilling chapter in The End series.
With high-tech thrills against a background of prophetic events that seem to leap from today’s news, this is the story of global tribulations bringing the world one step closer to the reign of the Antichrist and the return of Jesus Christ in glory.
The Rapture has occurred, people are required to have bar codes embedded in them and if you do not then killer drones are sent out to hunt you down and kill you. These are just some of the ingredients that are the recipe for “Mark Of Evil”. Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall have given us a roller coaster ride of suspense, danger, adventure and politics that will keep you flipping pages as fast as you can read them. Unlike a previous series by Dr. LaHaye this series is set not to far from where we are today. Dr. LaHaye is using Bible prophecy to show how close we are to what the Bible tells us will happen.
Craig Parshall, known for his legal fiction, has written a page turning, heart-thumping thriller with careful attention to the state of the world right now and how the Bible says we will turn out. Many of the “things” that are mentioned in the book are in place right now and in use, even though most of us are not aware of them. Dr. LaHaye and Craig Parshall have one agenda in mind and that is the salvation of many through this work of fiction. Their zeal is that many will have their eyes open to the state of our world and see that much of where we are currently and where we are poised to go the Bible has already warned us of and that we would understand our need for a savior. They do a truly remarkable job in this book while exciting us with this story that everyone will enjoy.

Mark of Evil is book four, and the final chapter of The End Series by Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall.
Tim LaHaye is a co-author of renowned The Left Behind Series. Just like that series, The End Series grabs a hold of you and does not let you go. It takes you on along as the Remnant fight just to survive and try to save just one more and one more soul for the Kingdom. You will find yourself crying and laughing and celebrating and mourning with these characters as they battle the prophetic events of the last days that seem as though they might just have been clipped from today’s news as their world, and ours, steps closer and closer to the reign of the Antichrist and the return of our Lord Jesus in glory.
The End Series is a page-turner that will keep you so engrossed that it might just cost you a couple nights sleep.

I have read several Tim LaHaye's novels dealing with end time conditions and his perception of how Biblical prophecies will actually occur. No one knows, of course, and these are truly works of fiction. Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Parshall draw deeply from Scripture by weaving them into the conversations, sermons, and "articles" that are part of the story. They bring to play scenarios across the world that hold a tantalizing hint of the evening news broadcasts and newspaper headlines.
In Mark of Evil the reader is continuously switching between different parts of the world for action, political intrigue, evil plots and plans, and adventure. It becomes somewhat difficult to keep it straight, but it can be done. Just stay on your toes!
Do I agree with LaHaye's interpretation and concept of what will occur and the order in which events will take place? Not necessarily. Some is simple conjecture. Some is his belief. But he simply does NOT state dates or set times.
In Mark of Evil the reader picks from the previous book in the series with some of the same characters. But if you have not previously read any in "The End" series, you can still enjoy this read.
To buy, sell, exist one must have the new approved chip inserted. Technology has advanced to the point that the Antichrist will be able to control people whether or not they have the chip. The question is, and to me the purpose of reading fiction of this type, ..... "What will you, what will I do....?"

My review- All in all, I personally thought this was a pretty good book for what it is. This book is no doubt a page turner that keeps you up late! The characters were a bit undeveloped, but there was a lot of detail along with complex plots without the book, which I did thoroughly enjoy. Some aspects within the book could’ve been better, for example, more suspense and tension in the parts that needed it would’ve made for a way more enjoyable reading experience. There is definitely a feeling of withstanding all evil and keeping your faith as a Christian. This book really makes you wonder about what is to come of our world as we know it. It gives a good look as to what could happen in the near future; what the outcome of everything we’ve created as humanity could be. Who knows? This could be our future… I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves end of the world thrillers. If you like long nights, this would be a good book for you! I received a complimentary copy from Book Sneeze (now Book Look Bloggers). I rate it a four point five out of five.
Years ago, I read the Left Behind series and felt it was a frightening portrayal of what life could be like after the rapture. This series by Tim LaHaye is filled with advances in technology and shows us how the web could be taken over by the antichrist and used by him to further his agenda. With so many major companies being hacked these days, and credit card information stolen, it‘s also easy to see something like Bid-tags becoming a part of our lives. While I liked the Left Behind series, I feel that this is better because it is more up to date. It's definitely a book that I hope that many will read and become aware of how the events in our world are lining up with Bible prophecy.
Between the edge-of-your-seat suspense and the believable situations as well as interesting characters, this is not an easy book to put down. I was up reading it way past my bedtime.
What a good book! I wish these last couple of weeks were not so crazy. I could have read it faster. This is the fourth book in the series, and I liked it the best. The book focused on life after the Rapture, and it did not even have the main family, the Jordans, in it. It was full of details. I never felt like just breezing thru pages to get them done. It really made me think, and I even pulled out my bible to see what they were meaning. The book ends on a happier note, but leaves so much left to be told. I am saddened to find that this was the last in the series. I think the next book could have been the best.
Cassandra's Review- In today's world you would not think twice about some of the stuff mentioned in this book. You might not ever give the vast filled knowledge a second thought. Some might even turn their head and look the other way instead of indulge in the vast concepts within these pages. To know of a possible truth and to feel it in your soul is not always easy. It will keep you wondering and thinking which is what a great book should always do in my opinion.
This is a continuance of "The End Series" as the evil one forges ahead to take control of the world. Technology is involved with the use of BID-Tag implants with the intent to control a human's response. It was easy to pick up where the story left off with the previous book; even if you read it many books ago. Good Read if you enjoyed the Left Behind series, but be sure to start with book one - The Edge of Apocalypse.
Mark of Evil will show you life during the Rapture from several different viewpoints and from several different countries. I feel it holds true to the Biblical account of the Rapture and manages to combine today’s technology into a believable story about what may happen during the Rapture. Even if you don’t typically read Christian fiction, I highly recommend this to you. Anyone who enjoys science fiction books set in our not too distant future will enjoy this book. Highly recommend.
Fourth and final book in Tim Lahaye's "End" series, which is not as engrossing or satisfying as the Left Behind series, but still stands alone on its own Merit. Book details characters loving through the first three years of the tribulation, including their interactions with Antichrist.
I would recommend this series to anyone interested in Revelation prophecies, which once again, seem to be a hot topic.
I have read all twelve books of the first series. Now I have finished the second series. With the glory of God I hope there is one more book, of Jesus coming on the big white horse, to set up the thousand years rain on earth. Both series were well written, and depicted with word pictures that captivate your you mind. I could not put them down. A must read!!!!!!!!!!
I read the complete series and found the writing so much better than "The Left Behind" series. These books will keep you on the edge of your seat as you wonder who to trust and who is on God's side as the World comes to it's climax.
Couldn't put it down. I like the way they put scripture throughout the whole book. Hope this is not the last one in the series. There is so much more to cover.
This was excruciating. The only thing worse than the actual writing, was the quality of the reader. A different reader was used on this book than on the previous three in this series. I had so hoped the series had ended with the end of the 3rd book, in which the rapture occurred and all the Christians went floating off to an ethereal never-never land, which the authors never should have attempted to capture in writing. So when this 4th installment showed up on my to-read list, I was skeptical, at best. Sure enough, this book in no way measures up to other popular Tribulation series. The time moves too quickly, and yet without real info on where we are in the 7 year time frame. The individuals who are able to help Christians (referred to as the Jesus remnant) are unrealistic. The bad guys are bad, but the good guys seem more lucky than good.
If you have any other options of what to read, read the other thing... this one is a waste of time, unfortunately.
This book in the series starts out a little slow and jumps around a bit. If you can keep track of all the characters you can appreciate that everyone who lovelIness Christ has their own part to at...both in this book, and in the real world. While there are parts of this book that will remind you of movie thrillers where heroes arrive in the nick of time, I could easily appreciate the idea that's timing is perfect. The plot is well thought out, and after the first hundred pages moves along pretty well.
Edge of your seat reading. Some of the good guys die, but what glory awaits them. While Ethan and rest of the Remnant do everything in their power to thwart the plans of the antichrist, evil is rising. The book ends on a joyful moment and yet even then, Ethan reflects that more horror is to come. I wish there had been a 5th book to tell us what happens to all the characters in the story and yet, we must be satisfied that for those of us who know Jesus, we already know the end of the story.
I enjoyed the first three books in this series and this latest installment is a good finish.. Whether you agrees with the authors interpretation of scripture concerning the rapture and end times prophecy or not, this final book in the series the thrill and suspense of a good political novel. It is fiction but presents a believable scenario on how the tribulation and return of Christ could unfold in light of today's headlines and according to Bible prophecy.
This was another book that kept my attention the message is clear and though a fictional story the message of the last days is very relevant. Someday events like this will occur. Tim LaHaye is an intriguing story teller. Read the book, study the events in America Europe and the nation's of the world and see if these stories could prove to be true. Enjoyed the book!
As Ethan leads the remnant through the post-rapture world where the Global Alliance must secure total control at any cost, God continues to make Himself known in miraculous ways. Clearly God is still in control, despite the mounting evil in the world.
I love the story, but have to admit it feels like kind of an odd stopping point for the series. The action is gripping the the relationships touching and compelling. Very much worth the read.
