This book was lent to me by a family member of the author. She certainly had been through a lot in her life, and has found success and justice (?) post-trauma. A very quick read, with a lot of helpful information for anyone that’s been in these situations.

Even though this was a quick read, she did a great job capturing the reality of so many survivors. The strength they require from themselves, because truthfully so many time their "support" system fails to actually support and believe them.

Although the book is short and a quick read, the book is very powerful and emotional!
