About the author

I had a typical beginning up to High School where I graduated a year early and went immediately into the Navy to pursue a career as a Navy Nuke. However fatherhood soon dissuaded me from that and I cut mu Navy career to 6 years during which I rode submarines as a Nuclear Machinist Mate/ELT. I then worked in the civilian nuclear program for ten years then moved over to computers in 1990 where I have been ever since.

I've been writing since I was 13 years old, starting with Man From Uncle fan fiction (The Opar Affair tying in Tarzan and Man From Uncle including April Dancer...) I took a left turn into technical writing starting about 1990 and did 25 Oracle database related books, but now I am back where I belong.

I have published 5 fiction books, 4 novels and one collection of short stories. I have also published my father-in-laws autobiography "A Kick in Your Caduceus" and my daughters book "Ghost Stories and Legends of Murphy, NC".

I currently reside in a small southern town in the Smokey mountains. I work full time for IBM and get to travel all over the world.

I have been happily married to the same wonderful woman since 1973, have two beautiful and talented daughters, a great son-in-law and 5 excellent grandchildren.
