I read this for the advent challenge, prompt “a book with a present on the cover”. It was pretty typical of the Christmas romance genre. I liked Tom, but I found Emma to be a bit annoying at times. The story was ok, but it was full of cheesy dialogue between all the characters. I think it was an attempt at humour, but for me it missed the mark.

Five stars plus

I love all of Rosemary Whittakers books and they are all brilliant. I really enjoyed this book and especially liked both the main characters. It's a lovely book and not easy to put down once you start it.

A wonderful book.

I loved this story. Kept me interested right until the end. It made me laugh so much. Endearing characters I could really like.

This was so bad! There was zero plot and the entire book was honestly just 99% awful dialogue. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with so much banal conversation.

Cute read

This is a cute read with some chuckles throughout. Both characters have a snarky sense of humor which made for fun conversation.

Very cute. The tension point was a bit extreme considering the situation but otherwise I really enjoyed it. Oh and the grammar was bot always the best if that kind of thing bothers you.
