Trouble 3

Rate this book
Settling into life with Blue was all Kaysin aka Trouble wanted. However, the lives that both parties lived before reuniting were filled with people, who now feel like they were left hanging. So, as Blue and Kaysin hope to relish in their love, the outsiders would love nothing more than to see what they share disintegrate.
In this finale, we see what happens when the honeymoon stage ends, and life gets real. In Trouble, there’s no dramatic explosions, or ghetto ninjas. Just two people trying to navigate through love, while praying that nobody dies through the process.

Dysfunctional but somehow a love story.

Kaysin is a psychopath but without the narcissism. Blue is neurotic and simply the true definition of ride or die. They’re made for each other. The only thing I wish that Nicole Jackson improves is the writing of sex scenes. She has one sex language and that’s F@cking. The sex tempo rarely matches the scene. When Kaysin is romantic they F@ck, When Blue is emotional and insecure they F@ck. There’s rarely tenderness and true lovemaking. Nicole’s characters have improved but the sex scenes are decidedly one dimensional.

Dysfunctional Love

Kaysin and Blue started out good but by book three I was tired of the obsession between the two. This was an abusive relationship thinly disguised as true love. One could say they were a product of their environment because they were surrounded by dysfunctional relationships. F@cking was the answer to the majority of their issues and this had gotten old way before book three. Even after being choked while pregnant and having a gun pulled on her Blue was steadfast in her love and obsession for Kasin who by all accounts was a serial killer.

horrendous

Is everything ok at home bc this drovel is not the elevated nj I’m used to. This book reverted back to the young minded books of her earlier career. Maybe it’s me but I’ve elevated from this trope. This was horrendous and just enough for me to no longer support this artist

Personally, 10/10 for the whole series👏👏👏!! It was entertaining & to the point. I enjoyed the quick read.

Definitely went through a roller coaster of emotions but in the end I’m mostly speechless.

Kaysin & Blue are a different kind of couple and I love the DEVOTION and communication between them. They’re the definition of crazy in love.

**Tiny spoiler that pertains to all 3 books in the series**

Everyone has morals and values and I try not to rate books based off of MY personal morals but on the story itself.

Here are a few things I remember from the series that I didn’t like BUT didn’t make me change the review since it’s part of real life:

- Children being preyed upon by adults (both male and female)

- Violence, Gun Violence, Drugs, Domestic Abuse

- Characters who cheat. (Example: the younger siblings of Blue and Kaysin were also couples in the past and when they all reconnected, they cheated on their current partners)

- Characters who don’t handle things accordingly. (Example: Blue and Kaysin got back together immediately when they saw eachother again but didn’t have the common decency to fully end their current relationships/situationships before doing so)

- Possible deadbeat parents. (Example: Kaysin possibly got a woman pregnant other than Blue before they got back together. Kaysin let it be known that he wanted nothing to do with the child at all. And Blue agreed with it)

These fools was with the shits the whole freaking book. Especially Kaysin aka Trouble. Honey that man showed his craziness towards the end of this book. I don't know if I'd have remained his woman after this dude pulled a gun out on me. HE PULLED A GUN OUT ON HIS WIFE, HIS BLUE! I was speechless. Did probably could've ran for the hills but dude made it clear that there was no way out for either of them until death did them part. Anyways, the book was very entertaining. All the enemies got what they deserved except Chino. Teal and Kaya moved out so whatever happened to their situation? I'm glad Blue and Kaysin worked out their differences. I'm happy Kaysin went legit and the couple is getting money. I really enjoyed this series. Nicole had me invested and entertained the whole series. She painted the world and characters so vividly that it was like watching a movie play out lol. I recommend this series, yall, go for it!!

Okay Read

I wanted to wait to I finish the entire series before I left a detailed review. I would have to say this was probably the first series I’ve read from NJ that I wasn’t a fan of. The characters were cool but the story just didn’t seem to have any substance to it or real story line just sex every other page. I wouldve like to see more background and history on why Blue and Kaysin are the way they are with each other… just an intense obsession with each other. It was three books to the series but I didn’t see any real growth with the characters throughout. I do like the way she always incorporate real issues in her story lines and the message nuggets are always on point. Although I wasn’t impressed it was still a cool lil read.

and me on the edge of my seat

Had me on the edge of my seat really love the book. The only couple of things that bothered me were both of them were very insecure and you could tell that by every single time someone from their past or someone who might possibly be interested in the other one. gave off very much insecure,The guy immediately peep when anybody was trying to talk to blue, but when it was being done for him, he was oblivious to it, which was just like come on now it’s like he held blue at a higher standard than himself. Also, the third book is really great but I would’ve loved more of their child in the book barely had anything from him in there to the point that it was just like OK well where is he?

Different

I liked this series because I loved Trouble and Blue so much. I loved reading this update, the downside was the other side of Kaysin which was trouble. He got possessive but I loved how much he love blue and his family. I would’ve loved an update on their mom Joni. Other than that, the best series I’ve read in a long time. Very realistic. Kaysin never let his head below the waist think for him. He was always on top of game and he was 10 toes down with his relationship that he wasn’t letting no outside issues ruin them.

💙🥷🏽👩🏾‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏾💸

Blue and Kaysin was on their boss movement. I really love that for them. There was drama left from right. This part of the series really showed that Kaysin was bit unhinged lol. I ain’t see it the last two books. Blue definietly evolved but she could still get crazy. I love them. I hope to see more of them in the future.

Straight gangster love

Trouble and Blu had a love like no other. I mean that steal for, kill for, beat a person down about you love and I loved this for them. Being young, married and in love with booming business and holding down their immediate family these two were amazing. I love this series and as always Ms Jackson delivered

the characters are severely flawed

Trouble was untouchable, I get it. The s3x was amazing , I get it. At some point there has to be more complexity to perfect characters. Should have went with my gut by skipping this one.

Kaysin!

I was really hoping Blue never stepped out with Boss or anyone else bc Trouble was truly touched. I love Grey she told it was it is and didn’t hold back. I need an update on her and the rest of their siblings.

I really enjoy your books. The life situations feel relatable. I'm so glad Blue and Trouble were able to work it out. Grey need a story to. I really enjoyed the book.

Umm….

This book was a struggle read. I honestly almost didn’t finish it. It was such a drag and just got more boring as it went on, hence my review. I’m very surprised as Nicole Jackson doesn’t usually disappoint.

Just ok

A few thoughts: The ending was abrupt. The plot with Sticks was unnecessary to move along the Kashe/Lil Cee revenge. What happened to Cori and the baby?

Oh, and if the author wrote “my lashes fluttered” one more time…🙄

Nicole is just a different breed of a writer

When I say I love her work, I stand on that. The level of realism and comedy cannot be match. I don't care what I'm reading, when her books drop, I'm reading.

Great Story!
This story had me hooked until the very end. I truly loved the story line. However the ending left the reader hanging. Is this the end or will there be a part 4?

I read this entire series in 2 days. I really laughed out loud at a lot of stuff because KAYSIN/TROUBLE IS A MENACE. I really want a part 4 though because there’s still some unanswered questions.
