The trilogy wraps up with everything at stake, and new enemies emerging. I won't give anything away but the word 'desperate' in the title is exactly right - this is a desperate struggle for survival led by those who are left. If you like mechs, alien invasions and secret bunkers....this trilogy is for you. Will humanity survive? You'll have to read it to find out.

This book took some time to read my daughters fault. Kept forgetting it. Got it last week this was a great finish to trilogy. Read all the books in this trilogy found it turn the page a pleasure. Sci-fi I do read but not my mainstay . Horror to fantasy . But next book will get as soon as out . If your looking at reviews pick this book we'll worth it.
