DNFed the book at 24% because what the hell was this? Look, I’m into reading wild and weird books but this one gave me the ick in so many ways.

Apparently, the main character Selina is an independent/prideful woman. Yet, for some reason she did everything a sane woman would not do? The three love interests were her customers and they helped her avoid her ex by acting like her boyfriends. Except that even though they were acting clingy and sticking to her side RIGHT AFTER FINDING OUT SHE JUST WENT THROUGH A ROUGH BREAK AND CRIED IN FRONT OF THEM ABOUT IT (which she told them everything about along with her living situation even though they’re just her favorite customers? But i guess that’s their business now cuz they helped her ONCE?) she didn’t find it weird??

They offered to take her with them to their cabin for the holidays which she agreed to because of her living situation but still it baffled me how she could trust three male strangers who she knows almost nothing about and agree to live with them for months??

And don’t get me started with the hotel scene, she was just talking about her being a mess when they decided to make out with her out of nowhere and she, again, didn’t find it weird. To me it seemed like they took it as an opportunity to use her vulnerability? Idk i just got that vibe.

Then comes in the part when she went to the cabin and found their ex’s diary which had every detail about what went down between all of them (smut and all) and instead of Selina finding it weird to read these things, she wanted to be in that woman’s place? She kept putting herself in that woman’s place and imagining how they would do everything they did with their ex to her (which they did and it felt weird because they talked about her being their second chance and using her as a way to forget their ex or whatever in the airport I think).

Selina’s personality started being built around the other woman’s (Cynthia or whatever their ex was called) experiences. It’s like she started having an obsession with doing whatever their ex did and kept mentioning her name in her inner dialogue A LOT especially during smut scenes? The men also kept comparing her to their ex at some point and I HATED IT.

Long story short everything felt weird and as far as I’ve gathered from the quarter I read, the men are still not over their ex completely and are just using her as a distraction from that fact or whatever and the mc is not as prideful as insinuated. Why you might ask? Probably because a prideful woman in my opinion needs to have pride in HERSELF and want to have an experience of her OWN, not a carbon copy of someone else’s! Which Selina didn’t do for me.

Fashionably fabulous

Another great RH story by this wonderful romance writer. I like that there’s always a deeper storyline to Kai’s books and it’s all just about the between the sheets stuff.

The other thing that Kai does well is that she always manages to give her characters personalities that make each love interest different and individual.

I’ve read most of Kai’s stories now and whilst many have a very similar theme they are fun, engaging and easy to get lost in. Hot, hunky men with lots of passion and love to give… count me in. And there’s always a villain that just has to make their lives difficult. This books villain is a real piece of work though. Very easy to hate.

Overall, great read. Again, very similar to her other work, but hey, if it works… keep doing it.

Selina's dream is to be a fashion designer. She gets a sales job in a elite men's fashion store in hopes of getting a shot at a designer position. She has three clients that she is very attracted to, Matthew, Sully & Jason who are friendly with her. Selina has been very responsible her whole life and has made a big effort to pay off her student loans. However right after her last payment, she catches her live-in boyfriend cheating on her. Disgusted she moves out but she has no money for a new apartment. She has spent the last few weeks sleeping in her store. Her ex boyfriend keeps bothering her trying to get her back. Luckily, Matthew, Sully & Jason come to her rescue and drive her ex away. Overwhelmed, she breaks down and tells them about her troubles. She is shocked when they offer to take her to their cabin for some weeks so she can unwind. Selina wants the three man and can't resist spending more time with them.

Matthew, Sully & Jason are all ex military who served with each other at the end of their terms. They became really close, as close as family. They have decides that they would rather find a woman to share instead of their own seperate women. They have become very successful business men. A year or so ago, they thought they found the one woman that they could share. Bad things happened leaving the three cautious about getting involved again. However learning about the situation that Selina is in has them wanting to spend more time with her. They are hoping to get a chance to share her.

Selena broke up with her cheating boyfriend, she has nowhere to go so finds herself staying on the floor of the menswear department where she works, it’s not an ideal situation to be in but she has little choice and less savings, she’s a personal stylist in a high class men’s department store , spent all her savings working towards her design degree. Her pride stops her from reaching out to friends for help. Her boss and coworker head out for the night leaving Selena free to bed down after closing up , this is when her ex turns up and won’t leave her alone , then when three of her favourite customers arrive , Matt kisses her and the three apologise for holding her up for their dinner date , sending the ex packing. They invite her to stay in their snowy mountain cabin for the holidays . When Selena finds a sex journal belonging to an ex flame of theirs she wishes it could be her, mounting a Christmas surprise she hopes the guys are hungry for…. Great story as well as the steam, good descriptions immersive and compelling read.

Good

Selina has recently broken up with her cheating ex boyfriend and sadly is sleeping in the clothing store she works at as she has nowhere else to go.
Matthew, Sully & Jason are 3 ex marines who visit the store regularly and after hearing a fight between Selina and her ex Matthew steps up to pretend to be her new boyfriend.
They invite her to Aspen for 2 months the of fun once they learn she is homeless and their relationship starts as sex but grows.
I’m not going to lie but I’m baffled by authors who describe a cabin the rooms and porch and outside in minute detail, also the description of Etienne’s office just wasn’t needed.
However skip over something I feel was more important, like Cynthia inviting herself and Lance to dinner and the guys knowing she is devious and her intentions aren’t good.
Then skipping the actual dinner itself just Selina mentioning it in passing, hold on a moment I don’t give too hoots about the details of the office and cabin but seriously we needed to know what Cynthia said at the dinner and to me that was more important than describing rooms.
The beginning was a little slow with nothing really happening and because the guys wouldn’t discuss Cynthia and what happened with her it seemed they weren’t actually developing as characters they were just stuck in a rut in the past.
The psychological warfare with Cynthia and the planting of the “diary” was more interesting and I was excited to see what psycho move she would pull next.
Also why didn’t the author mention the argument with Lance and the sinister smile she had, would have been nice for Momma Mary to overhear that to see where Cynthia’s mind was at.
It seemed weird she was accepting the apartment from Etienne when they were obviously going to be together more due to her circumstances so that didn’t make sense.
I do like Selina, Matthew, Sully & Jason together as all 3 men bring something different to their relationship.
I’m not sure why there were two epilogues but I would have liked for one of them to be from one of the guys instead of both from Selina.

Letting Go Of The Past & Embracing The Future

Wow, this book was a lot more complex & deeper than I thought it would be, but I actually loved that about it. Just from the blurb you know that Selina is not having things go her way. She broke up with her lackluster, cheating boyfriend of 4 years, whom she also loved with. So then she finds herself camping out at work since she doesn’t have anyone close she can go to, and her finances aren’t on her side either. Then 3 of her favorite customers (she’s a saleswoman for an upscale store while waiting to put her design degree to use) step in & invite her to stay with them on vacation for the holidays, so that she has a place to get away for some R & R while she decides how to move forward. She says yes, of course, and so begins a physical relationship (👀🫦💋🫣🥵🔥) that brings forth a whirlwind of emotions that none of them were truly prepared for. She quickly finds herself building a strong relationship with Matthew (her rock who’s there for her with advice & comfort), Jason (who can be serious when needed, but is mainly her sunshine & always making her laugh), and Sully (he’s there for strength, mentally & physically, when she feels overwhelmed, or just needs the comfort). I expected all of this, but I wasn’t prepared for the added drama, danger, and deep emotional issues that they found themselves having to fight through. Wanna know the tea 😉 Cause you’ll need to get this awesome book to be able to find out how these 4 tackled all the obstacles, mental & physical, that were constantly thrown their way before they could even begin to contemplate a possible future together. You’ll be glad you took a chance on this story 🫶🏼

This is the first book that I've read by Kai Lesy, & I have to say that I couldn't put it down, I stayed up half the night to finish it even though i had work early in the morning. I loved it. I'm loving these reverse harem books. Selina caught her boyfriend passed out drunk in their bed with a strange. She breaks up with him & leaves the apartment with a few things. She ends up sleeping on the floor of the high class mens department store where she works. She has no place to go because she used her savings to pay off her student loans for design a few years. She refuses to ask for help from the few friends that she has because of her pride. Her ex boyfriend does want to give up & keeps calling& texting her. Then her boss shows up one night unexpectedly while her & a coworker are finishing up with work & she thinks she will have to find somewhere else to sleep for the night, because the boss likes to spend the night in the back office before he goes back to New York. But he surprises her & ask the coworker out for drinks to catch up before he leave for New York & extends the offer to her also. She declines. The boss & coworker leaves. She starts closing the store she does everything but close the front door when she looks her ex is standing there staring at her he wants to talk they get to an argument. That is when her three best male customers come to the rescue. Matt walks up & kisses her on the lips & calls her sweetheart, while Jason & Sully are close by they apologize for begin late to pick her up for dinner. There is alot more to the book & if you want to know what happens you need to read the book.

Just loved the MFC Selina - she is a graduate designer working at a department store selling high end fashion but trying to prove she has what it takes to be an amazing designer. Things are a bit of a challenge though as she split from her cheating boyfriend leaving her homeless so now she is living at the department store in secret! Her cheating ex doesn’t want to give up on the relationship but 3 of her special customers come to her aid when she needs help getting the message across to her ex that she is done. This leads to the hunky, sexy ex military men rescuing her is other ways with the storyline taking some twists and turns along the way. If you like a touch of suspense and passion in your read this is just the book for you.

Salina is down on her luck, after catching her cheating boyfriend is is homeless and squatting in the store she works in while trying to save enough money for a deposit. Her three regular customers, Mathew, Sully and Jason, catch her ex harassing her and scare him off. When the guys figure out that she is having problems, they offer to take her to Aspen for the holidays. Things heat up between them and although they had agreed to keep it casual, emotions get in the way. An ex from the guys past shows up and tries to create drama, emotions are not handled well and feelings get hurt and when Salina becomes a target the guys step up. Lots of action, all the feels and some super steam bits make this a great read.

Selina has had a lot of downs lately and not many ups. She is currently homeless after finding her boyfriend in bed with another woman and living in the back area of the retail store where she works.
She does love her job though she would like to be moved to an assistant designer position. Her customers though love her. She especially like Matther, Sully & Jason who are always nice to her.
When they unexpectedly come across her fighting with her ex, they get the gist and decide to invite her to their cabin in Colorado for a few months. She has always crushed on them, and she had lots of vacation time, so she takes them up on their offer. This is the start of a new adventure with a bunch of twists and turns as well as danger. Will they be able to make it work? Enjoyable read!

Matthew, Jason & Sully are ex-Marines and best friends, and they have been admiring Selina, silently hoping for the day she's single. Now that their chance is here, they make her an offer she just can't refuse. Selina sets off on an all-expense covered getaway to Aspen with these 3 hot men and is granted freedom to have as much "fun" as she desires. What can possibly happen with these four in a secluded mountain cabin?

This is an easy read with some hot action and an intriguing storyline. A little mystery & danger adds to this reverse harem romance, keeping you turning the pages. Very enjoyable!

So she is spending her nights at the store she works at as a salesgirl. Matthew, Sully and Jason are her clients and they have been crushing on her since they met her. But she had a boyfriend, so they never told her. Now that she is single and with no place to stay, they invite her to spend christmas with them in Aspen where Matthew has a cabin. Living together, the chemistry between them has them falling in bed. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

It was such a huge turnoff and cringe how she got so turned on/excited when she read Cynthia diary and wanted the guys do SAME things to her. Blindfold etc. Like how can you be excited that you get same treatment? That they have pattern.
And when cynthia turns up, she does not let them explain. They try several times. "I dont want to hear about chynthia". And then secretly still read that diary. Wtf woman. Learm it from the guys you care, not behind their back.
I love OW drama and this Ow seems unhinged evil one. Should be epic. BUT nope.. i dont like the vibe.. how the heros turn into those scared ashen faved men how they are around her. How heroine is insecure, but still reads that diary.. when nobody is strong, except OW - dnf

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of three best friends, Matthew, Sully and Jason who have been through a lot together well in the military, meet and fall in love with Selena, when they first met her. She was still with her ex-boyfriend, but as soon as they learn that she is now free, they move full speed ahead. When they are vacationing in Colorado, they all bump into Cynthia, their ex-girlfriend who tries to stir trouble between them, but their love for each other soon wins day and they head towards a happily ever after.

Exceptionally well written, full of action, steam, love, emotions, drama, suspense and lots of twists and turns. Selina has broken up with her boyfriend and is camping at her workplace as she is homeless. It's there that Matthew, Sully and Jason show up and scare away her ex. They then offer her a retreat/vacation to get away. Together they find a way to make everything work for them. Bring into the mix , an ex girlfriend and what a terrific storyline this book now has. A must read. Would recommend this book to others.

This is a well written RH romance and it brings together Selina, Matthew, Sully and Jason. Full of action, emotions, drama, suspense, twists and steam, I loved seeing how their relationship would unfold. She's just broken up with her loser ex and he won't leave her alone. The three men show up at her work, with Matthew pretending to be her new bf, and they offer her a holiday in Colorado with them. Thrilled that she's now single and that she agreed, they can't wait to see where their attraction leads. Sadly, they have a bad ex, too, so don't expect a smooth ride for any of them ;) I really enjoyed all the details that made this a gripping read :D

Three Daddies? Mistletoe? Count me in!!

This storyline has it all! I might add that it is an excellent story from a great storyteller. In addition to Cute Kidd-0's, three gorgeous guys, ok, more than attractive, tons of steam, and lots of building of essential stuff—at least from my point of view: A love story.

You can't go wrong with THREE DADDIES UNDER THE MISTLETOE if all of the above is what you are looking for! I loved it! I tried to finish it in one reading, but the 'fam' kept getting in my way. I was chomping at the bit to get the ending to see how it finishes for the characters. I'm so glad I met them and watched their love story unfold!

In this book we meet Selina, Matthew, Jason, & Sully. Selina has big plans for her life. The problem is she comes home one night to find her boyfriend cheating on her. That very night she moves out and ends up living in the store she works in. The guys decide to come see their favorite clerk before they head out of town for Christmas. When they see her ex bugging her they decide to step in. Can they all find a HEA or will secrets keep them apart?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

There were moments

I'm giving this 3.5 stars out of five. I finished the book. Automatic three. There were moments of . . . Suspense. Emotions. Breakthroughs. Romance. The middle of the book was actually exciting. The beginning, yawn, was a rather slow start. Almost lost me a time or two. Then I hit the exciting middle and thought, "wow! This got good. But then it kept going and going, and going. This could have ended about70 pages sooner and been just fine. Maybe even a solid four stars. But I finished all of it, so another half star for perseverance. Some may love the two epilogues, but I found them superfluous, just like these last two sentences.

So much potential..

I really wanted to give this book the 4 it deserved to have, however I think the editor dropped the ball on this one. It was a great concept, it had the suspense and drama, however it didn't have flow. There were super wordy descriptions in places where it would interrupt the progression of the scene and a lack of founding details that then popped up at the end making the conclusion drawn out and dense. If someone had just helped to reformat I don't even think anything really needed to be cut, but quite a bit just needed to be moved to a more appropriate place so the story line could progress without dragging.

I like smut but with a little story this was just smut. Who the heck goes to live with guys they barely know. There was no conversation just assumed she'd be down for 3 guys. No conversation about condoms birth control etc just right to it. The entire book was drama over one conversation that could have been had (my least favorite book drama to have). And who the heck reads about their guy with other women. Also the whole end climax and we just tell Cynthia to leave and she does so we think all is good makes no sense. Smut was okay but not good enough to make up for the horrible story. I skimmed the last couple chapters. Can't recommend this author.

But, wait... There's a vindictive ex, a spicy journal, a design career..... So much to see, so little time to read it all. Rawrrrr.

Fun holiday read

This was a fairly short, fun, holiday read. It follows similar stories, alone in a blizzard miles from civilization, what's a girl to do?

My biggest issue is that there are intimate scenes where there are inconsistencies and that took me out of it at times. As a rabid RH reader I am well versed in visualizing where everyone is and let's just say there are some anatomically impossible scenes in here. Unfortunately that takes me out of the scene and is distracting.

It was ok and I liked it, not terribly long, an ok plot, and moderate spice.

Pretty good. However, I did not like the aspect of them trying to off the main female in the book multiple times (especially while pregnant). That just seemed repetitive. Wouldn’t you have pressed charges against Cynthia the first time? I also did not like that Selina Acted as though she knew nothing about the relationship once she saw Cynthia the first time. Like you’re “in love” with these men but also believing Cynthia’s diary upstairs. So maybe have some open communication about the issues???

Christmas romance

Selina works as a sales associate, but wants to be a designer. She just broke up with her boyfriend just before the Christmas. She forgot she has nowhere to go. Decides to camp at work. One night her ex comes to harass her and three of her clients walk in and get him to leave. Offer her a month trip to Aspen to relax and regroup. The attraction between them becomes a reality. Their ex shows up and everything goes downhill. Can they get everything straightened out? Can they make it a go?

Though the FMC worked my nerves...

I did enjoy the story and how quickly it read.
It had sex, romance, mystery, deceit, and violence.

The innuendos were a little much, and I was happy to get the full story, but by then, you knew Cynthia was nutty! Other than Lance's conversation with Sully, what was his reason for being there.
I'm happy it ended better, and all was good... I would have liked for it to end after Sully got his business underway... but!

If I were the FMC Id be pissed but she is excited to do everything that they did with the other woman who they were with not even a year before her at the exact same cabin and her reading the diary she left behind about her times with the men. Like taking her skiing, blind folding her and asking her to guess who is kissing her just hike they did to Cynthia (other woman) I imagined myself as the FMC in the situation and I would be so petty unlike Selina (FMC)

She is definitely second best and that they still care about the other woman
