After a desperate plea for help from his sister, Ryder Collins and Grayson Harper hit the road. With Seattle looming in their sights, both men are aware of the dangers that lurk in the shadows—and not just the siren they’re hunting. To keep Ryder safe, Gray must take this demon on alone.
When the hunt takes an unexpected turn, Gray goes missing. Ryder finds himself in a race against the clock to save the man he loves. In the heart of the siren’s den, he’ll do whatever it takes, even if it costs him his life.
… the other is willing to give up everything
**The Wayward Sons is a MM bi-sexual romance novella full of road-trip shenanigans, steamy moments, and a whole lot of supernatural twists. Not suitable for readers under 18 years of age**
Word Nerd, Connoisseur of adventures of a literary nature, Would die first in a Supernatural episode.
I’m an author, reader, and most importantly, a nerd. I love all things superheroes, demon hunters, and long-running movies and tv shows. I enjoy diving deep into characters and their stories, journeying with them while figuring out who they are. It’s the goal I have for all the characters I create and hope you find a way to connect with them.
“You made it back alive to me. That’s all that matters.”
The saga of Gray and Ryder continues — and oh, do the boys land themselves in trouble this time. Spoiler warning if you’re not caught up… but if you’re still here, you probably either devoured the earlier books or you don’t mind the chaos. . . . . . . . . Life on the run means demons, cheap motels, and Twizzlers on demand. But Gray and Ryder wouldn’t trade it for anything, not as long as they have each other. That is, until Ryder’s phone rings with a voice from the past: his sister. After years of silence, she’s desperate for help, and Ryder can’t ignore family…even if it means walking straight into danger.
Back in Seattle, Tessa tells them her husband and their brother vanished after staking out a club called The Cove. Ryder’s empathy makes the club too dangerous for him, too many feelings, too much chaos. So Gray takes the lead, slipping inside to investigate.
Only he doesn’t come back.
Ryder finds him later in the parking lot, dazed, unable to remember anything beyond ordering a drink. That’s when Ryder realizes the truth, they’re up against something far darker than a regular demon. This is a siren, and Gray’s already under their spell.
Can Ryder hold himself together long enough to save his family and the man he loves? Or will the weight of too many emotions drag him back to the very prison he escaped?
Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
A.Win you gave me heart palpitations with this one. 1: Neither of them are allowed to die, ever. Thank you. 2: Sirens trying to mess with our boys? Not today, Satan. Back to the depths with you. 3: THE RINGS. Enough said. This series just keeps getting better. Fierce battles, emotional stakes, and a bond between Gray and Ryder that nothing can break. They may have an open relationship, but make no mistake, these two are forever, in every way that counts.
Not my favorite (#0 still takes the cake for me) but still in the 4 range. I am going to say it in every review. It's TOO SHORT *sobs*.
This book was family heavy (love family time) and there was a good amount of action! Lots of surprises. Can't really say for spoilers but all good! But Josiah Hartfard makes a multiple comebacks. Dog tags... names... *side eye* lol
The boys willing to die for each other as always. Truly very close at one point but their love is all they need to bring the other back.
This one involved some Sirens. I don't like that what happened to him was really discussed. Then knowing what was going to happen and they just letting it happen anyway.... I'm glad he didn't bring it up because I'm sure their fight would have been WAY worse. (Only using he to help with the spoilers). The scene makes it seem like he wanted to do (they are in an open relationship and play around) and then you learn this is not really consensual and some kidnapping happens.
Learned that someone has a tattoo for their partner. Cutest fucking thing.
There is a MFM scene in this book that is graphic. Not cheating because they are in an open relationship but it DEFINITELY worked lol
We also got see the dreamworld that was created for them. Just a lot of love and a beach. I really hope they get that at the end of this!
Okay I think this one might be my favorite! The boys head back to Seattle to help Ryders sister find her husband and their brother after they disappeared.
I loved the fact that we got more family time with Mal and Tess! And little Jo was so sweet (also omg the name 🥹) you can tell where things are headed with Ryder and Gray and this adventure just solidifies that.
Once again, the greenhouse. Ugh EVERYTHING. This is truly the book where we see the love Gray and Ryder have for each other. How they would both sacrifice themselves for the other and then get pissed at each other for it. I was getting hella emotional during the greenhouse scene because they really do need each other 🥹🥹 let’s not even talk about the beach house ugh foreshadowing done right!
As always this was a fun adventure with higher stakes, great spice and all the love. Bring on the vampires!
I am obsessed with Ryder and Gray. They love each other 😭😭😭. Those two are absolutely obsessed with one another. These two have a very special place in my heart.
I really enjoyed this one. We got to see Ryder in action. He's such a bad@$$ and this book showed just how truly powerful he is. I loved seeing him in his element and seeing what he would do to not only save innocents but to save the love of his life.
Even though this is a very fast read, we got some action, some magic, some sweet and spicy moments and heartfelt ones. Definitely enjoyed this one a lot. We also got to see more of Ryders family which I loved.
This was another adventure of Ryder and Grays that I absolutely loved. I feel like we truly got to see how strong their bond and love is on this one. I cant wait to read more about their adventures❤
Ryder and Gray are just too good together! The book starts off with Ryder getting a call that his sister needs their help. His brother and her husband went on a hunt and haven’t been back. Ryder and Gray set off to find and bring them back. It all happens at a strip club where multiple men have gone missing. I love the fact that we got a little more of Ryder’s family in this one. Even more that we got to see Ryder save Gray this time around and show off his powers. As always the spice in this book is drool worthy.
Loved this book! I m so in love with Ryder and Gray's a bit dangerous but thrilling adventures and how they fiercely love each other. I m very excited to read more of their stories and shenanigans .
The Wayward Sons & The Seattle Sirens is the third book in A. Winchester's The Wayward Sons series. This series would best be enjoyed in order due to the overarching plot. Here's what you can expect from Ryder and Gray:
🩷 MM paranormal romance and adventure 🩷 First person dual point of view 🩷 Guaranteed happily for now (the series continues with the characters embarking on different adventures) 🩷 Open door spice 🩷 Open established relationship 🩷 Demon hunting 🩷 Lots of banter
Ensure you review the content and trigger warnings to decide if this book is right for you. Note that this list of warnings may be incomplete. Please take care of yourself while reading.
After reading The Wayward Sons: Back to the Beginning, I never expected Ryder and Gray to return to Seattle but they did, and the author managed to pack so much action, spice, and trepidation into 150 pages. Sirens are not a paranormal entity I read a lot about, so I thought it was interesting how they were portrayed here and how their powers worked on the demon hunters. Despite the new demons and the accompanying challenges, I appreciate that not much world-building is required, and the author takes an opportunity at the beginning of the book to explain the archangel lineage. Although there are many different powers, it's not critical to remember as different elements are explained as the adventure progresses.
I was definitely worried for both Ryder and Gray at different points of the book, but this installment is yet another testament to the beauty and uniqueness of their relationship. The steam between Ryder and Gray is always top-notch, but I absolutely love the caretaking between the two of them. After the actions to defeat the sirens and rescue members of Ryder's family, we see the first real conflict between Gray and Ryder. It sucked seeing them so at odds, but they've been together for nearly a decade at this point and we get to see a different facet of their relationship which I enjoyed.
If you're looking for something fun, action-filled, and open to paranormal with plenty of caretaking and steam, you won't want to miss these books!
A. Winchester has given us another installment of the most lovable demon-hunting couple who risk their own safety at the drop of the hat to protect those that they love and I love these men to pieces!
🖤Solo Hunt 🖤Protective MMC 🖤Strip Club 🖤Grumpy x Sunshine 🖤Dirty Talk 🖤Edging 🖤“There’s glitter on my d*ck! Why’s there glitter on my d*ck?” 🖤“You touched him, you 💀”
Ryder Collins hasn’t spoken to his sister in years…they’ve never had a traditional sibling relationship. But when his sister calls and is desperate for help, Ryder and Gray hit the road and head back to Seattle where the danger lurking in the shadows isn’t just the siren that they’re hunting. In order to keep Ryder safe, Gray must hunt on his own.
When Gray is separated from Ryder, the hunt takes an unexpected turn and Gray goes missing. Ryder now finds himself in a race against the clock to save the man he loves. In the heart of the siren’s den, Ryder is willing to risk it all and do whatever it takes to save Gray…even if it costs him his life…
Out of all the books in the series so far, I was the most anxious reading this one 👀 I have trusted Gray and Ryder’s hunter skills, but the twists in this one had me on the edge of my seat and on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster! Gray and Ryder have been on the road for 9 years, and what started as “temporary” between the two of them, is anything but – Gray and Ryder just “are,” and the love they have for one another, how they’re each other’s happy place, hits you straight in the feels. Gray and Ryder protect one another fiercely and have no qualms about sacrificing themselves for their partner. So far, Ryder has kept a very tight leash on his powers, but when Gray is in danger, we get a taste of what he’s capable of…regardless of the consequences.
I am in love with this couple and want the best for them, but know that their road trip ain’t over yet!
We are back with one of my favorite couple, Gray and Rider with a new hunt in Seattle. I really love this novella. The writing was excellent and kept me interested from the beginning to the end, with the danger, family reunion, and spice.
After 9 years on the road to hunt demons and monsters, Gray and Ryder are still strong together. They are the happy place of each other. When Gray was taken by the siren and they told him «Go to your happy place», Ryder was automatically there. I had tears in my eyes. I also love them both individually. Gray is sunshine and the clown. He made me laugh so much like in the glitter scene. 😂 I also think he is the fan #1 of Taylor Swift. Ryder is grumpy and caring. He loves Gray so much that he is ready to do anything for him to be safe.
As always A. Winchester gives us great, spicy, and intimate scenes with dirty talk and praise. Our man Gray knows how to be a good buy when Ryder tells him. I would be happy to call him Sir, or Sergeant if he talks to me as he does to Gray, even if he dislikes the latest one. They are in an open relationship and I would like to be in a sandwich like the girl at the beginning please, thank you. 😏
I highly recommend reading this series, you will never feel bored with them.
You will find in this book: Open Relationship ☀️Grumpy/Sunshine 😨Romance Action ✨Glitter Problem 👪Family reunion ❤️🩹 Hurt/Confort ✌️Dual POV 🧜♀️Siren 🌶️Spice
Thank you A. Winchester for this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Man these two are cute as pie and hot as sin all rolled into one adventure filled ride! A short but thrilling story starting with a good dose of steam but continuing with a fast paced adventure with great storytelling & character development. Gray & Ryder and fun, witty and passionate and have two very clear & defined personalities. I can even imagine their individual voices & accents just by the way they talk & the author describes them. I love that! Not as much action in this story, but what there was, was well written. (Unless you count the steam…which was, well…phew! 🥵) My only point of contention was that I would have loved a little mystery or suspense involved. We knew exactly what the ‘villain’ was & how to defeat them from the start. The secondary villain/problem stemming from Ryders past was only briefly touched on and it would have been great to give that story a little nudge to build suspense for coming stories. This did not however detract from my enjoyment of the story! As a short novella, it sure packed a punch. I can’t wait for the next adventure!
Ryder and Gray are back!! What happens when you get 2 stubborn men with half cooked plans running into a den of sirens? One hell of a ride!! Ryder and Gray will do anything for the ones they love even if it may cost them everything. They say good things come in small packages and this novella is no exception. Ryder and Gray receive a call that people they love are in trouble and they drop everything to go back to Seattle to help, even if coming back may put them in danger. You get to see another layer of Ryder and his powers. You get our favorite ball of energy that is Gray and his shenanigans. You feel just how deep their devotion to each other goes, even when they may be oblivious themselves (IYKYK). The spice delivers a 10/10 as always with our favorite boys. Treat yourself and see what these crazy men get up to and how they manage to come out the other side somehow sexier and even better each time!!
1. Why am I not surprised that Gray is a swiftie? 2. Glitter being the herpes of craft supplies is probably more accurate than my nursing textbooks 3. Ryder and Gray will drive me insane if they don’t just commit already
The Wayward Sons series has quickly become near and dear to my heart. Finding short, wholesome, and funnies reads is a necessity and it is so hard to find stories that encompass them all.
Once again, Ryder and Gray are fighting demons with the most chaotic and unhinged plot. The story of the sirens, their empire, and tactics was so fun! These boys would burn the world for one another and the ones they love. It was action packed and emotional. Also being able to finally get a glimpse of the life and loved ones Ryder was forced to leave behind. No matter how much time has passed, his love has never wavered!
If you love Ryder and Gray’s adventures I highly suggest you pick this one up!! Sirens, strippers, glitter, family, and rescue missions may seem like a wild combo (it is but in a good way), makes for a great read! Once again, A. Winchester does not disappoint 🩵
This book had my heart racing! How does A. Winchester fit SO MUCH story into just 151 pages?! Best of all, it is never rushed. I think I say this every single time.
Gray and Ryder are still at it hunting across the US. One day Ryder gets a call from his sister, her husband (WHAT?!) and their brother have disappeared during a hunt. She's a mess and doesn't know what to do, having a baby (WHAT WHAT?!) she can't just drop everything and go after them. Gray and Ryder head back to dangerous territory to help. Gray's not keen on Ryder going anywhere near his dad but Ryder refuses to not help his brother and brother-in-law. What they find when they get there is very unexpected.
I really loved this instalment of The Wayward Sons. Ryder and Gray are so good together and watching their relationship progress while also going on awesome demon hunts is the best! Plus sooooo spicy!
As expected A. Winchester knocks another one out of the park. This series has quickly become a fav and has me in an entire chokehold.
As the adventures of Grayson and Ryder continue you are given action, spice, and hilarious banter. These two are perfection and their shenanigans had me on the edge of my seat. I laughed, I swooned, and there were a couple of moments that had my heart fall out of my chest. But through it all my love for Grayson, Ryder, and this series has only grown.
I’m so excited for the next part of this journey, as Ryder and Greyson work through their feelings and what they truly want their lives together to look like. Who will pop the question first? Will the other say yes? The only thing I know is I will be along for the ride and I just know it’s going to be epic. Bring on book 4.

This adventure was heart wrenching at times but in true Gray and Ryder fashion they went in, fought the battle, and came out stronger.
Ryder is contacted by his sister when their brother and her husband turn up missing after looking into mysterious disappearances. So Ryder and Gray dive in and end up buying off more than they expected.
The spice and humor is spread throughout and I couldn't help but love these boys even more. They are the perfect couple and their unwavering love and commitment to each other and their family makes this story even more entertaining.
Please read the trigger and content warnings. There's a few situations beyond the characters control that could be triggering to some. I can't wait to see more of this series!!!
This story was awesome! Ryder and Grey make the almost perfect couple. Each of them are so in love with the other, have very distinct opinions and how things should be and wow, they can both be stubborn lmao! This story really packed a punch in a small pkg. I can honestly say that I am not sure if I mad about that lol. I am a lover of longer stories, but somehow everything seemed to fit into this little bomb fire of a read! I hope that if you want a quick, passionate, fun adventure you will give this try. Just a word of advice, be sure to read the authors content warning as this is truly a adult book. Thanks for sharing this ARC with me and allowing to once again be lost in your world!
📚: The Wayward Sons and the Seattle Sirens by A. Winchester
Tropes: 👉 Open Relationship 👉 Paranormal 👉 One Night Stand
TWs 😟: Dubious Consent
Main Takeaway 🏹: These boys never disappoint
Synopsis 📜: Ryder and Grey get a call to come back to Seattle when Ryder’s brother goes missing. To try and take down the Siren in town, Grey attempts to take it on by himself and gets caught in the trap so Ryder has to find a way to save the man he loves without falling into the trap himself.
Personal Thoughts 🤔: These novellas are so fun and these men are so ready to settle down and enjoy each other permanently! I love the chemistry between the boys and getting to see more of Ryder’s family! I’m excited to keep up with their future adventures and watch their relationship grow.
This novella was chaotic, wholesome and had me cracking up with all the funny moments
I’m so here for all of Ryder & Gray’s adventures. I really love their bond. Their protectiveness of one another was definitely apparent in this novella.
The hunt they go on this time, in hopes of rescuing Ryder’s brother and new brother-in-law from Sirens, was absolute pure chaos and kept me hooked. These boys really embrace the concept of winging it.
I really loved the seeing the interactions between Ryder and his family too. Especially Tessa, she’s so fiery and hilarious.
The way I’m inhaling this series should be studied. The addiction that was formed can only be described as slightly unhealthy but YOLO bc OMG I LOVE RYDER and GRAY!!!
This story was so much fun!!! The action, the story line, the plot with the sirens, the twist towards the end, and of course the way our boys love one another is PURE GOLD.
These two men are KILLING ME in the “idk if he will say yes” department and have me on the edge of my seat, waiting for someone to say SOMETHING. But I know A Winchester will give us a beautiful moment so I’m trusting her LOL.
I am most definitely hooked on this series and I cannot wait until WS4 to continue the adventure with Gray and Ryder!!

Just when I think these two can’t find anymore trouble!!! The amount of times I yelled “Gray NOOOO” “DANG IT RYDER” 😂 this is my favorite adventure of theirs yet! You get to see this whole other side of Ryder and his powers. It starts out hot and spicy and the spice is top notch! “What’s her name again?” You get to see a familiar face in this story along with several new one. The ending is my absolute favorite because these two can be so clueless it’s cute. I cannot wait to read their next crazy adventure. I still giggle over pick glitter ✨ on a body part 🍆
I love these little novellas.. you never know what kind of crazy Grey and Ryder are going to find themselves tangled up in and this third installment was quite the situation. As always I'm impressed with the detail Addison is able to fit into just 150 pages.. these stories never seem rushed and give the right amount of plot while still throwing in some pretty epic spice (I mean the opening chapter c'mon!). After the last book I was happy we got more if Ryders siblings and I hope we get to see their relationships continue to grow.
I love the ongoing adventures of Gray and Ryder. The way these two play off each other, protect one another, and always have each other’s backs makes me smile. They started out so differently from where they ended up, and this one reminds readers how committed they truly are to each other. I like that they get to visit family here, but the sirens nest provides a unique challenge for the hunters as well. I can’t wait to see where the road, and life, takes them next, even if I hope that they get a little respite.
This one gave me a bit of anxiety worrying about what would have happened to Ryder but also proud of Ryder. Due to the dark part of his past, he strays away from certain public places but Gray was in trouble with some sirens and Ryder was going to save the man he loved.
The plot with the sirens, seeing Ryder hunt solo when it could have been really dangerous and meeting more of Ryder’s family was really nice to see.
As always, Gray and Ryder’s love is still so stinking sweet and I need them to say yes soon!
Ryder and Gray are probably my favorite book couple. This book didn't disappoint! I love their adventures and how they get through them. There was one part that was mentioned in the book that wasn't touched on much which makes me wonder if it will be brought up in future books so that has me waiting to see what happens more with these 2. Some of the paranormal books I've read have been not amazing but I absolutely LOVE everything A. Winchester puts out! It's always so well written!
After getting a call from his sister asking forbhelp finding her Husband Jake and their brother Mal who has gone missing in Seattle Ryder amd Grey head back there to hunt for them. They encounter Sirens who cause a lot of chaos and when Ryder goes to save the men and Grey who was taken by them he uses his power. I really hope to see more of Tess and Jake and Mal along with lots more shenanigans with Grey and Ryder.
The boys are back in on the west coast because family, only this time there in for a bit more than they planned. When Ryders brother and brother-in-law go missing it’s up to out favorite duo to sis out what’s really going on in Seattle. It’s up to Gray to do a little investigating because emotions are a hard no… Did I mention Daddy Ryder makes an appearance? Swoon! Oh and there’s glitter! Spice level: 3.5 because we all need a Sargent who takes control of a slippery situation.
Ryder and gray are ALWAYS always always an instant read/buy/etc. These two boys and their adventures are so freaking good. And this one? Takes the cake. Ryder is a main POV here and oh man. His inner monologue is so freaking good. His rants and reactions had me dying. The amount of "gray, NO" and "ryder omg" i yelled would give someone alcohol poisoning if they played a drinking game. These two hold a special place in my heart. I cant wait for the next adventure!
Oh may God I am always feral about A. Winchester's books but this one brings Ryder and Grey to a whole new level in my eyes! The intense passion of them and the story in this one takes the sauce! It was a whirlwind of their love seeing people they haven't seen in years and unexpected outcomes! I couldn't put this book down! This book and this series is an absolute must read and I'll definitely be rereading! If I could give more stars I absolutely would
There is nothing like daddy Ryder coming to save Gray. This book was stressful 😂 between the constant anxiety of being caught by daddy Hartford and the Sirens was stressful 😫I really do need him to die.
There are times empathy is a very helpful power, but even when it came in handy it still hated by Ryder. But I understand, his version of empathy is brutal and sucky, doesn’t help that his father is a dick 😒
