I was really looking forward to reading about the Steepe Brothers since they were introduced in Underworld. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. I love them all.

I knew how protective and sweet they were but seeing them fall for someone was 🤌🤌. They are respectful, caring and just hot as hell.

Macy was so perfect for them. She was so strong and I loved how loyal she was. She would put herself through hell for her family. She's definitely the type of person to make the best out of every situation.

Overall the story focuses more on them building their relationship. There wasn't as much outside action but when there was it was very intense. There was one part were the guys messed up really badly so seeing them grovel and show her how sorry they are was amazing.

💗 Seeing Jane and her men again made me so happy especially knowing that they are still very close to the Steepe Brothers.

My only complaint was that she went through something really traumatic and it was just kind of forgotten. She "gave up" and after she was rescued it felt like she was back to her normal self. There was no talk of what happened.

This was a quick and exceptional read. It was dark at times, and it was delicious at times. I struggled to put it down. This was one of my first reads by this author, and it certainly will not be my last.

Macy and the Steepe brothers have my heart.

Ivy Cole delivers a fantastic piece of writing with Tartarus. Her main character, Macy, is a strong female lead who makes no apologies for her life decisions, and the men in her life quickly realize that having her trumps all.

With a drug addicted father who consistently gambles away their money, Macy becomes a high class escort to pay down his debts. After a chance meeting with the Steele brothers— playful Jax, sensitive Luka, and alphahole Silas— Macy finds her services purchased indefinitely by the enigmatic trio. Working their way into each others’ hearts, Macy begins to wonder if love and happiness could be in the cards for her after all. But when the ultimate betrayal shatters the trust Macy found with her wolves and sends her to the darkest of places, the Steele brothers must do all they can to bring their queen back into their lives and hearts.

Tartarus is a beautifully dark story full of pain and redemption. Ivy Cole has done a fantastic job of crafting engaging characters that pull at your heart strings. As a reader not typically prone to cry, this story had the tears freely rolling down my cheeks. Mind your triggers, but don’t miss out on this amazing story!

This was a very fast fun read. I finished it in a few hours and it definitely has some decent spice. The FMC Macy was forced into a bad situation but making the most of it when she draws the attention of the infamous Steel brothers. They take her away and change her life forever. I there is a little of everything from cinnamon roll boyfriend to charming playboy. The characters are fun, the story and plot are a good read. There is a scene in which the guys messed up bad and definitely need to grovel hard but Macy ends up forgiving them almost right away, so be warned. This book is part of an interconnected series but you do not need to read the first book to enjoy this story. It will just give you more backstory on the guys.

Tartartus by Ivy Cole is book 2 in the Underground Syndicate series. It tells the story of the Steele Brothers and their beautiful lady Macy. Their story is filled with angst, romance, steam, betrayal and most importantly forgiveness.
Macy goes through a lot of trauma before meeting the Steele brothers. The main focus of the story is about them building their relationship through thick and thin.
I actually read the book and listened to the audiobook. While my preference is always the written word i really enjoyed the audiobook. The speaker was excellent and it was good quality. If you enjoy listening to books you will enjoy the audiobook version of this as well as the book.
Great job Ivy! I highly recommend reading and listening to this book and series!!

"Baby author" Ivy Cole created an awesome book. I really liked the flow and the writing style itself. I was interested from the very start and there was no part where I was bored. All main characters are memorable and I really liked how they developed.
I intentionally read this book before reading "underworld" and I am not sure if as a reader you would benefit from reading it first. It is not necesary to understand what is going on but I have questions concerning this world.
There were not many secondary characters and that made the story feel quite isolated. That does absolutely not take away from my enjoyment of the book, I just realized it after I finshed and it felt a bit strange.

Ivy does it again in the latest Underground Syndicate novel. Here we learn more about the Steele brothers, Alpha and Beta from Underground along with their brother. Can we just agree that morally gray men are super hot in Ivy's books? Back to the plot, and what a plot it is! Macy is such a strong woman. Even when she's down, she's not out. And who can blame her for falling for these three? Not me! The angsty brother, the golden retriever brother, and a cinnamon roll all can't help themselves when it comes to our girl. I questioned at one point if it would all work out. Macy and her boys get their HEA along with a delicious side dish of revenge.

Amazing book

This book is the second in the Underground syndicate. In underworld, we meet the Steele Brothers when they guard the Queen of the underworld. This is their story, where they fight with anguish through the turmoil and with slime balls to get their love in the end. If you enjoyed Underwood you will enjoy learning more about the Steele Brothers in the second book.
It is not necessary to read the first one to enjoy this book, but it will allow you to meet them and get a better understanding of their personalities and the relationship with Jane.

A soul-gripping tale of love!
Macy was betrayed by her father and forced to be an escort to pay his debts until she the Steepe brothers cross her path.They buy her time and she goes to live with them,and starts growing a connection between them but it will be a hard path full of doubts,untrusts and a heart breaking background.
I really enjoyed , all the twists and turns only enhanced the story and I recomend it.

She did it again. Ivy made me fall even more in love with characters from the last book. Tartarus follows Macy, as well as Silas, Jax, and Luka from Underworld. Macy is just a child when we meet her, and after some life choices her father ends up practically selling her. Well years later, the Steepe boys have something to say about that. Follow these four in their journey and life in Tartarus. There are ups and downs, loves and losses, and CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS.

This is a quick read for me as I read fast. I loved the morally grey men and the mafia vibes in this book. The Steel brothers steel her, pun intended. And now her life will forever be changed. I love that the story doesn't always go over roses but when there is a grovel situation they really do that. Well written, believable and recommend for sure reading this book.

I read Tartarus in 2 days! I really enjoyed Mace’s fight to keep going! And the 3 men who motivated and loved her enough to show her life can get better!!! I originally thought this was a werewolf book but it’s not! It doesn’t take away from the story at all. I just want to point that out! I wish there was more of the guys!!!! I really enjoyed how each character were completely different!!!

A great quick read. This book covers all the bases, turmoil, slow build relationship, insta-attraction, cinnamon roll, broody alpha, heart ache, and healing. I think there needed to be a lot more groveling and she forgave too soon, other than that…*chef’s kiss. Definitely worth the read!

I couldn’t put this book down, why choose romance, the author is definitely good at helping you feel the emotions of each character. My only problem was that she forgave them so quickly.. I wanted her to have a bit more push back.. other than that it would have been a 5*

Well, what an emotional rollercoaster that was!
The story was fast paced, deep, dark, funny, sad, and sizzling hot. Loved that Jane and the guys featured in this book too. Both women are badasses!

I couldn't really stop reading so I read it straight through.

I was an ARC reader, so I am glad I was able to experience the journey. Now I'm going back to read the previous because I want to know about the other men and their girl 😁

I‘m confused and not in a good way. The pace is completely off and the MMCs attachment to the FMC makes no sense. I feel like I missed the first 50 pages of the book where they start interacting and getting to know each other

The description didn’t give me much to go on but it was such a good read. It is a standalone and there is at her book before it. It’s slightly connected. While you don’t sue to read it you can to know a little more about these guys. It had all the good stuff in this book. A totally should read! I think there needed to be a lot more groveling and she forgave too soon but otherwise yes please.

Another great book by indie author Ivy Cole. We get to see Alpha, Beta and Luka from Underworld find their girl. Macy has to go through a lot to finally get her happy ending. Love these characters so much 💜cannot wait to see more from this world and the author.
