Rate this book
“Do you know what happens when you refuse to give an addict what they want? They turn feral .”

Harriet’s spent her whole life feeling like an inconvenience, as though her fate has set her in motion to end up like her mother, dead. And when she walks in on her fiancé with another woman she wishes she was.

Overwhelmed with heartbreak and betrayal, she makes a life-altering to leave it all behind. Seeking solace and a fresh start, Harriet embarks on a journey that leads her straight to the vibrant and enigmatic world of The Carnival— and Seb.

But the Carnival is not what it seems, and Harriet is soon exposed to the secret world of lies and deception that lurk around every corner.

Despite Seb's attempts to shield her from its illicit activities, Harriet is inexorably drawn into its dark underbelly.

Will she emerge unscathed, or will the allure of the carnival consume her beyond repair?

Welcome to The Carnival is intended for mature readers and covers themes that some may find triggering such as graphic descriptions of SH, Suicide, drug abuse, SA, dub-con and explicit scenes.

a little dragging but decent read

This book had its good moments and it bad moments. Toward the end, it definitely dragged for me. Also it left me with soo many question throughout the book. There were so many open ended situations like things the performers were worried about in the town but no one said anything or didn’t go further into why a character was worried about someone. I liked that the title of the book had many meanings throughout the book. So all in all, a decent read.
