This author seems to cut a lot of her books really short. They stop without ever giving a satisfied conclusion. That said - the sex is hot.

Cole (18) has the hots for his BFF's mom, Olivia (36). On his 18th birthday, he skips school and goes to the house and begs her to take his virginity. She doesn't want to because of obvious reasons. She ends up giving in and once they start - they can't stop. It helps that he has a big d!ck. Eventually, BFF Jensen finds out and is furious, as you'd expect. Jensen decides he can't stop things, but he's still not happy about it. Cole and Olivia end up as a couple. The end.

My only issue is the ending. After they decide to be together, we jump to the epilogue of them playing with their twins .

We don't really get to see them build a relationship that doesn't involve sex. I'm not complaining about the sex - it's good. I can't describe what I'm trying to say. I guess you should read it so you can tell me what I'm feeling.

Okay but YES to this!! It’s short, filthy, and gave exactly what it promised. We love a good age gap, but this one flipped the usual script and I ate it up—older woman/ younger man (her kid’s friend?!) Forbidden, delicious, and so hot!!

There’s so much out there with the same tired older man/younger woman trope, so this felt like a breath of fresh, horny air. And despite being mostly smut (which, no complaints), there was actually also a nice little story to it!! Just enough to give it some depth and make the tension sizzle.

Super spicy, fun, and honestly I’d read a whole series if it was just hot MILFs corrupting their son’s besties.

Reverse age gap with the H pining for his best friend’s mom? Yup, I gotta read it.

While there are loads of age gap romance books out there — it’s not often that I stumble upon the reverse age gap trope which is why I’m always a bit intrigued when I do see it. This novella especially had a bunch of tropes that I only ever saw in novellas/books with an older H and a younger h. I thought it would be interesting to see how things would play out with all of these tropes switched around.

As it turns out, there was not much emphasis on a real plot or the individual characters.. it was more of a smut fest tbh buuuut that’s okay. I didn’t really expect much — especially bc this is only a novella and …well, just look at the cover 🤣 It would be interesting to read the novel version of something like this though with fully fleshed out characters and a gripping romance story etc.

This was cute and I think this is my first reverse age gap and honestly I loved it ALSO SO LIKE ARE WE GETTING A JENSEN BOOK ORRRRRR
Also I’m ngl I swear I think she rly only saw Cole as more than her sons best friend when he told her his feelings and from than on it felt like she couldn’t stop thinking abt her ex and don’t get me wrong idk what that’s like but idk it felt like she wasn’t rly over him and just kinda was with Cole bc he was there and showed an interest BUT I do believe she did fall in love with him over time

This was a very nice read but I felt like you should have been a full book.

Side notes, I really do enjoy taboo story lines I normally read MMC being older but sometimes I enjoy FMC being the mature one.
It took me awhile to finish but when I finally got into the story It ended!! The characters was great, just wish there was more. It also wasn't as dirty has I thought however It has a really nice happy ending.

I just wish I had more interaction with The FMC and MMC.

This novella is deliciously spicy, and to top it off, the audiobook is brilliant. If you pick this one up, definitely go for the audiobook it’s in duet narration by two fantastic narrators.

Since this is a novella, it’s quite short, so I don’t want to give too much away. But I really enjoyed this fast-paced, steamy read. It was just a fun, forbidden, spicy good time. Cole was so forward about what he wanted, especially for someone who was so set on Olivia. The description of a tree trunk had me screaming. I liked how Olivia tried to push him away, but it didn’t work she gave in. For all the heartache she has gone through she deserves to be happy.

I also appreciated how Cole came across as mature, even if there were a few moments that showed his immaturity since he had only just turned eighteen. If this had been drawn out into a full-length novel with angst and slow-burn tension, I would have been in heaven, because I really did love these characters.

I'm not going to lie, I picked this book up searching for spice, and wow! it did not disappoint. The spice is the plot, and it is 👨‍🍳 💋.

So, if you are in search for a short, hot novella with plenty of spicy scenes and dirty talk that will probably make you blush 🥵🔥(but not much realism or depth in terms of the story and characters), this novella is definitely for you.

I recently came across this book when I was doom scrolling on Instagram. The person was raving about it and it made me want to read it plus I'll admit I was drawn in by the cover. This was a really quick read and that really messed with my enjoyment of it. Everything happened way to fast and it was hard to connect with the characters and the relationship. I would have liked for this one to be a full length novel. I feel like if we could have gotten more build up and more groveling this could have been great. It was pretty steamy but also kind of cringy.

This was super fun, filthy and fast paced. B never disappoints when it comes to spice.

I love a good Best friends mom, as much as she tried to fight and deny the attraction Cole was persistent. Boy knew what he wanted and he was going to get it. I loved his filthy mouth, it being straight to the point, and him ’putting what he gave her back inside’ is one of my weakness’ I swear. This author always gives her readers what they want! Enjoy

h is a 36 years old single mom to her 18 year old son, and his best friend practically lives with them bc his mother is a shitshow.

Wished we could have seen more of how the relationship between the best friends have developed and that they could get back the friendship they had - sadly that didn’t happen.

Not a good palet cleanser, easy and short book.

Birthday Boy was a quick, taboo, fun read/listen. Cole has had a crush on his best friend's mom for as long as he's known them. When he turns 18, all he wants is her so he shoots his shot with the older widow, and my goodness the way he goes about it. With the way Cole dirty talks, you would never think he still held his V card. But momma still has a thing or two to teach him. Man, this was such an entertaining book. I actually anted more. I'm such a sucker for 'he falls first...and hard' trope

I think the audiobook heightened the experience because Connor Crais and Savannah Thomas were so freaking hot in their duet performance.
