Thanks to Booksprout and the authors for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I loved the characters of Willow and Mike in the first book, these two accomplished authors have the balance of the alternating POV right and realistically reflect what the characters could be thinking. This book moves their relationship forward in a big way: the first book was their initial meeting and after a couple of weeks there's a chance to spend longer together. The steamy action is well-described, from the time they're apart through to the end of the book. Mike's dominant nature is underpinned by hints of caring for Willow, and Willow responds in kind. I can't wait for the next book to read how their plans for each other turn out!

This is a very hot book. I loved every minute of this story. This book is better than the first because it takes place over a 4 day weekend instead of just 1 night. Mike really uses Willow good. She definitely is a good sex toy, makes me wish that I had one jusr like her. Definitely read this book if you love books on freeuse.

I picked up free use Halloween not even knowing what ‘free use’ was and here I am waiting for the 3rd installment.
This was a short and spicy read with a HFN and I enjoyed learning more about the couple!

This is the second book in the holiday freeuse series, so there's a bit more to the relationship between Mike, the widower and silver fox dom, and Willow, the 25-year-old former virgin who met Mike at the Halloween Freeuse Party. He made such a "big" impression on her that she is anxious and hopeful to see him again. Will he call? Will he at least text? He finally does text, and with Willow's parents going away and needing a house-sitter for the Thanksgiving weekend, it seems like an ideal opportunity for Mike to test the waters further with Willow's submissiveness. It was going really well until.....Mom stuck her head in the bedroom door and discovered Willow with Mike. Ouch. That didn't end their weekend together, however, as they just moved over to Mike's place.
In spite of the substantial age gap, things seem to be heating up between the two, much to Willow's delight. But Mike is leaving on a multi-week cruise, and he doesn't seem to want to share much information about it with Willow. But after all, they aren't exclusive or a couple, so Willow just has to temp down her anxiety and wait for Mike to return. It turns out that it's just as well Willow does not know all the details of the cruise, because it's a "singles cruse," and Willow's imagination would go right off the rails if she knew that. Mike's actually working on the cruise, as it is one arranged by his employer. It might have been nice for him to have told Willow at least that much.
There's only a few weeks until Christmas, and there'll be another freeuse bash for them to attend. The only question remaining for Willow is what color ribbon will she wear? Red? or Green? ,.

The heat in this book is everything I’ve come to expect from both Cross and Lake, but this story has a stronger romance element that adds depth and flavor to all that holiday spice. I enjoyed the two-author, first person, dual POV format. The differences in writing styles between Cross and Lake really adds to the story.
Something to note is that this book is definitely a middle child—you need to have read Freeuse Halloween first to understand the characters. And while not a cliffhanger, the story definitely doesn’t end here.
Can’t wait for Freeuse Christmas!.

Our heroine enjoyed her last freeuse experience so much that she wants to do it again. And this Thanksgiving, she knows our hero is just the right partner to help.
This is book two of the series. If you are just here for the steam, then jump right in. If you want to follow the storyline, then I recommend starting with book one.
This is an erotic short story featuring freeuse and a bit more. The story is well written and easy to read with a small but fun cast of characters. Our hero truly takes control in this one and gives our heroine exactly what she wants. I enjoyed watching all the steamy fun that resulted. Overall, an entertaining story and I look forward to more.

From virginal to naughty - Willow gets her jollies in the best way when Mike spends Thanksgiving with her. She likes the older man, entranced by the mastery of his touch on her awakened young body. She can't get enough of him. Good thing he feels the same and is willing to share the pleasure he so aptly bestows. I listened to the Audible version. The AI narrator did not take anything away from the story. I liked the male- and female-sounding voices.
