Missy is a moonwitch with a powerful gift of illusions. The local wolf shifter alpha is very uncomfortable with her powers and demands that she leaves the territory or else. As she is driving away, she goes by a woods from which she feels a strong dark force. She follows the power until she runs into an evil witch who tries to capture her. Missy is able to escape by the evil witch throws up a barrier trapping her in the woods. Missy is on the run when she runs into a wolf shifter in the woods who is also trapped. Cole the wolf shifter helps Missy stay away from the witch. Together they are looking for a crack to escape through.
Cole was supposed to the future alpha but a seer had a vision of him being a danger to the pack when he was 6. His alpha and grandfather took him out to the woods and left him. Cole was exiled and had no clue why. He was almost feral when a young witch named Atlas found him. Atlas helped him catch up with his learning and shared food. They became best friends until Atlas asked Cole to do something that he couldn't condone. Cole has been lonely in the woods and then something weird happened. a barrier has raised keeping Cole trapped in the woods. Also Cole has developed a new gift of communicating with animals. Then Cole runs into Missy a strange witch. He is suspcious of the witch until he learns that she is Atlas' twin. He will do his best to help his best friend's sister to make up for denying Atlas' wish. He is very confused by his wolf's behavior. Can Missy truly be his fated mate?.

This is another engaging shifter story I totally enjoyed reading. This story is about Artemis a witch and Cole a wolf shifter in this enjoyable fated mate story that has wonderful characters with chemistry in a well interesting storyline that kept me turning the pages till the end. Artemis a new witch is driving in Montana to live with her aunt for protection from the wolf packs that threaten her. Driving through the woods she senses magic compelling her and follows to a circle of runes. Touching a rune opens a portal where a cabin appears. Then the door opens a bad witch appears who wants her magic. Escaping Artemis gets lost in the forest, and she is now being hunted by the bad witch who can track her. Cole an outcast werewolf felt the magic power pulsate and goes to investigate it, but then starts to hear the animals talking warning him to leave. Approaching the barrier cast by the wicked witch lead by his new friend a crow called Sheka, he meets Artemis who is trying to escape. They agree to work together to find the way to escape. What occurs is an engaging story of drama, action and romance that I'd volunteer to read and review this copy I'd received.

OMG this book was great. Loved it. It was a page turner and suspense was paranormal romance. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. The werewolf alpha and witch love was forbidden but the temptation and the physical attraction were strong. The chemistry between them was sizzling hot with the intimacy of lust and pleasure. And the intimacy between was steamy hot with unexpected passion of events. I definitely recommend this book. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

For Artemis and Cole, escaping together is the only way to save them all. With various twists and turns, a little surprise and help this story was fantastically written. Loved, the throwback to Mated to the Werewolf.

Another Very Good Story!!
I so enjoyed reading this one as well. These stories keep my mind occupied. They are all fantastic. I loved the characters and storyline so much. Artemis was stuck in a dark magick spell. It wasn’t fun at all. Cole was part of the forest for so long that eventually he was able to communicate with the animals. Was a wonderful place to live except for the dark witch. On to the next one. 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊

Really exciting!
This paranormal romance was much more exciting than I usually get from your typical shifter romances! It had a good compelling plot.... much better than most. 5 stars!

Great story, poor editing
The story was really interesting, much like the rest of the series. However, there were some serious editing mistakes, including the wrong name being used for the brother (Atlas) in two parts, and just general editing issues.

Was captivated from the blurb and was not disappointed. Loved the characters and the plot twist with the shifters and witches. Can’t wait to read more.

Another fantastic werewolf and witches story by Waverly Sage, full of prophesies, mysteries, action, romance, magic and talking animals.
Artemis (Missy) is the daughter of a witch and cursed werewolf (Selena and Brian from “Mated to the Werewolf”). She's having to leave her family ranch to live with her aunt as the local werewolf pack have had a prophesy that she will be a danger to them. But as she drives through the woods she's caught in a trap by an evil witch.
Cole is a lone werewolf who was taken to and left in the woods by his grandfather when he was a young pup and told he couldn't live with the pack anymore. He's camping in the woods when he felt a pulse of magic rush over him and shortly after discovers he can talk to the animals. When he finds a barrier he can't get past a witch crashes into him but he's assured by his new friends that she can be trusted.
As they work together to escape the trap set by the evil witch, Cole and Missy grow closer with his wolf pushing him to complete the bond. But the witch isn't giving up her search for Missy and the pair are learning more about their powers and the prophesies that resulted in them both being in the woods. Can they trust their hearts to escape their fates?
