I've read a number of these ebooks in preparation for possibly getting a puppy in the next 12 months. The good thing is that they mostly give the same message so there should be no confusion in the mind over the reader. This book is therefore a good general guide to owning a well behaved dog and enjoying a fulfilling relationship. I guess the ones that I remember most are the ones with a bit more of a USP. I spotted a couple of sections where a block of text had been repeated, which isn't unusual at this reasonable price..
10 years is really not a long time to be training dogs.
Some of the tips and techniques were great. Some of the descriptions were confusing or actually wrong. Videos and/or more photos would be especially helpful in the dog training section.
Also some duplication of paragraphs within the same chapter…
I love this book! It is packed full of great training ideas and explanations of the reasoning behind the training and the psychology used to reinforce the training. Great for both first time dog owners and very helpful for those lucky enough to already have a dog.
