Verdict, written by Andrew V. Kudin is a short story about energy beings outside of time and space. In it, it brings up a theory on why human-beings are on Earth and potentially the reason for it.
Before I get into how I felt about this, I want to thank Mr. Kudin once again for his kind words and for my signed copy of “Verdict”. He wrote that this short novel was the best story he’s ever written. It being only 19 pages, it definitely was incredible! One of my favorite things about what Mr. Kudin writes, is the way he writes. To explain it a bit better, it’s very mature, and well-stated. He knows what he wants to convey and tell his readers, and it’s very evident. The story flows well, and everything fits. I’m almost disappointed with how short it is… which isn’t a bad thing. I need more from Igor. Again, with it only being 19 pages… you’d think it would feel rushed, or be missing pieces. Nope. You get everything you need, enough to feel for the characters, and like me, want more from them.
Andrew V Kudin is a GIFTED storyteller. Very rarely do I read things with his level of talent that truly stick with me after reading. If you find this, pick it up and read it. You won’t be disappointed, that I can guarantee!
