If you're looking into paranormal romance this series is amazing to start with. There are pnr elements but there is a real side to the fallons that i just can't get enough of.

Addicott is my all time fave author. I'll read anything she writes.

I will have to come back and add to this because my head is still spinning from just how much Ms Addicott's writing has improved over time. This series gets better with every book and now I am waiting with bated breath for Knox's story. *HEART EYES EVERYWHERE*
Clay and Lexi were a perfect match for one another. Clay was patient caring kind and HOT HOT HOT, and Lexi's reactions to every thing he did or said were perfect. I really love Clay's story and loved learning more about his curse and how it affects not only him but his brother's as well.

PROS: learning about clay's curse and how it affects his brother's and the girl's lives
More of roman. I will never tire of hearing about him AND ALEC got what he always wanted *TEARS*
KAILEY was perfect. Babies. Tears. All the pieces from the previous two books coming together and questions being answered. I had so many AHHH OMG NO WAY moments while reading clay.
CARTER

CONS: I wish it was longer. Since reading Ms Addicott's Love Lost Her Way, I want to beg her to write longer books so that i can crawl inside and live there.
There was a character I was upset about (not adding spoilers)
the excerpt of Knox's story was too short; I want it ALL NOW

The world is created with vivid detail and the characters are brilliantly developed. I was hooked from the first page. One of the things I enjoy the most about this series is how we not only get to know two characters on a really deep level and watch their relationship blossom in a beautifully crafted way, but we also get to check in seamlessly with all the secondary characters that we've already fallen in love with. I still get tingles seeing how their stories continue to unfold.

Lexi and Clay were so much fun to watch as their relationship grew. The fire that burned between them refused to be extinguished. The twists and turns had me gripping my seat, there was just never a dull moment. This author writes emotions as if it's her own heart bleeding out for the ink. It just has this extra depth that truly sucked me into the pages. I absolutely loved that all of the characters are so well written not just the main two; it adds extra layers of depth to the story. The foundation she builds the story on never crumbles, something not that easy when dealing with the paranormal. If you're looking for an edge of your seat, can't catch your breath, emotional whirl wind of a story, THIS IS IT!!!

Addicott continues to bewilder me, leaving me spell bound and in utter amazement at the world she has created in The Curse of the Fallen series. There was so much emotion and suspense I could hardly sit still as I devoured page after page. Addicott certainly knows the magical recipe to not only tug on our heart strings but to yank them so tight we are left a puddle of conflicting emotions laying on the ground sobbing. To me those are the absolute best books!! I must have that range of emotion, something that speaks to me and makes me FEEL everything the characters are going through.

I love the concept of this series, the personal hell the characters must endure, their redemption and growth. I do not have one critical thing to say at all, this series is just AMAZEBALLS!!!

In order to appreciate Clay you must read Flynn (book 1) and Steel (book 2). I have already claimed Flynn as my book boyfriend and will fiercely protect this claim to the death!!

“This is yet another sensational paranormal romance book written by Julie Anne Addicott!”

This is a continuation of The Curse of the Fallen Series, highly suggested to read Flynn & Steel before reading Clay!
Clay meets Lexi and the desire to have Lexi in his life is so immense. Lexi has just come out of a relationship full of disrespect and cheating, she is too hesitant to rush into anything.
Clay knows she is younger, but as much as he wants to claim and possess her, he takes his time by showing her he will be stable for her.
Meanwhile the Fray are planning to take action again the Fallon’s. When the darkness is lurking around the corner trying to destroy the family, can they all stay safe? What sacrifices will need to be made to protect everyone?
Because in the end “For one to live, one must die!”

Julie, you always manage to keep me on the edge of my seat! Your so very talented, and it’s a pleasure to read an early copy for my review. Thank you!

This is the third book in the FALLEN series .
Brilliant writing and as per the authors usual style there was twists and turns and ups and downs and riveting parts wondering what's goung to happen next . The 2 main characters Clay and Lexi were a good combination and they worked so well together. Clay and his curse of death and Lexi with her love of live . Don't like to give too much away but it thorougly explained Clay's curse and bought through Lexi's nativity . There is so much descriptivness in Julie's writing and it makes you feel like you can actually see it and be part of it.
Excellent story and left me satisfied and can't wait to read the book on Knox .
Well done Julie Addicott well sort 5 stars ...

This book is amazing!! First, you NEED to read the other two in the series and then you MUST read this one! I’ve read this book twice so far and fell more in love with it the second time around. Clay’s story is just incredible. The way Julie writes is so smooth and makes you want more. From the characters to the wording, she makes your desire to take notice of the books excellently done. I have read all her books so far and really can’t wait for what’s next. So, if you haven’t checked out this series then you should.

For one to live, another must die

The more I read, the further I fall. There are so many stories lines within this series and I am so in love with them all, the good, the evil, ALL OF IT! I have devoured this series in less than a week. I've cried, I've laughed, I've cursed Julie and I cant wait for Knox. Clay has been cursed with death and desire, he rages war within himself, his Angel heart wanting to save, his Harpie wanting to destroy. The curse controls him and he is rendered powerless to his crude desires, but then there is Lexi. The adventurous young bomb shell that plagues Clays mind, unfortunately death is only thing his touch brings.

I feel like I could physically feel the seconds ticking by as I waited for this book to release after Steel. I’m so glad I was able to get an ARC because 1) I was going insane and 2) it was everything I imagined it would be and more. I loved it! Addicott wasn’t playing around when she wrote this. It’s full of an intoxicating mixture of drama, tenderness, and violence that I just can’t get enough of. Now I have to wait and count the seconds until Knox’s book. I’ll just be here. Waiting (im)patiently. 🙃

Favorite PNR series

Addicott is one of my favorite go to authors, her stories have yet to fail me.

Clay: Deadly Desires, the third book in the Curse of the Fallen series is as good as I expected.
Julie takes pieces of the 7 deadly sins and makes it her own. Builds her characters, their world and sucks you in. The story had more angst than I anticipated. Clay and Lexi, they were nothing I expected, they took me on quite the ride and left me spent.

I fall more and more in love with this series with every book that comes out. I don't read a lot of PNR, but Julue Anne Addicott has created and addictive supernatural world that keeps dragging me deeper and deeper and always left wanting more.  I loved Clay and Lexi's story.  They fought for their love and it was perfect!  The storyline was a good fast pace. I loved seeing the side characters from previous books. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone!

Book three of The Curse of the Fallen exceeded my expectations. The war between The Fray and Angel's continues. Alliances shift. People and supernatural beings struggle with their roles. Balance must be maintained but at what cost? Lexi is young, beautiful and immature. Clay is experienced and haunted by the curse of death. The lively, innocence of Lexi is irresistible to an angel cursed with death. The story lines continue with all of the Fallon brothers. Julie is an amazing storyteller. I couldn't put my book down.
My heart broke for Clay as I feel his curse is the worst of the Fallons. Well done.

And just when I thought I couldn’t get anymore surprised by this series, along came book 3. I am so obsessed with these imaginary people!!! My heart broke couple of times, and there probably should be a warning there somewhere about the physical and emotional abuse some of the characters go through, some more than others. I actually skipped some parts because it was just too much. I can’t say that I loved Lexi all that much, and I kept on waiting for a connection to be made by somebody between Gabe and Bella, which did not happen. But I did love Clay and his tortured soul. And, once again, we get to be back into Autumn and Flynn’s heads, a little bit of Steel’s, and definitely Roman’s.

This book was SOO good!
The sexual tension? Off the charts.
The emotions? On point.
The mystery and action? Perfect amount!

I love so much how this story is unfolding and how everything ties together.
Clay’s story so far is my favorite.

Also I’d love to read that possible unfinished business between Flynn and Roman someday. ;)

I don’t even know where to start. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Gosh this series just keep getting better and better. Definitely one of my ALL time favorites.

I have been anxiously waiting for this book, and it did not disappoint.
Not only should you read the first 2 but you should refresh before reading this one. It helped to get such a good understanding of Clay and it kept me so interested that it was almost impossible to put it down. When you fall in LOVE with Clay and Lexi during their emotional journey, try not to forget about the other characters. I honestly believe that not a single line in this book should be considered a filler. It all has purpose. Although so many questions have been answered for me, I still have more.
This is an amazing series. I have a feeling Julie will be unleashing the beast with Knox.

How horrible is it to be a cursed Angel of death? Afraid for the smallest of touches because you automatically see the person's demise. Clay has lived with this curse for years. The only other contact he allows himself to touch is the demon that curses him. He's been ok with it until he meets Lexi .
He takes the chance and falls. But when one life ends another one begins. If you could stop the love of your life from death, would you? What if it costs another's life that you care about?

Love the third book in this series and cant wait for Knox
