Lu Jingshen and Feng Si met 7 years ago during a vacation in Africa, where they became entangled together for 3 months, until Lu Jingshen left without a word. Feng Si, realizing he knew nothing about Lu Jingshen (not even his real name), searched all over the world for him. Seven years later, their path finally crossed again. Feng Si is determined not to let Lu Jingshen go again this time, but Lu Jingshen needs to overcome a huge mental hurdle before they could really be together.

The beginning was slow for me. Lu Jingshen's cold attitude and him being barely responsive to anything Feng Si said was a bit too much to read. I counted the word "furrow" (he furrowed his brows a lot), and it occurs 51 times (in a 61 chapter book!) 🙈. Lu Jingshen is also a closeted and "homophobic" person, although it's easy to see there's more going on because he suffers from insomnia and panic attacks.

The dynamic changes for the better later, and when the table finally turns around and the hidden things surface, it becomes a really good healing story.
