When the hardcover of Atomic Iran was published in 2005, few could have anticipated that it would so accurately foretell events that have since taken place in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Many who once considered it partisan overkill now take its message very seriously. A charter member of the "axis of evil," the rogue state of Iran and the mullahs who govern it are on a collision course with the rest of the world—especially America and Europe. Iran continues to manipulate the price of oil to finance its nuclear endeavors and terrorist activities. And it continues its well-laundered contributions to key U.S. politicians to normalize diplomatic and trade relations between the two nations. With the election of Mahmaud Ahmadinejad as president, Iran is now in the hands of. aShi'ite Muslim who announced in his Semptember 2005 speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations that his divine purpose was to prepare the way for the return of the Madhi. The belief in the Second Coming of the Mahdi is similar to the belief of Christians who anticipate the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, with one important the cult of the Mahdi holds that the world must experience an apocalypse before the Mahdi returns. For a head of state to believe his mission from Allah is to cause the apocalypse needed to bring back the Mahdi is extremely dangerous. Ahmadinejad's religious convictions are shocking. Even at the height of the cold war, such ideas were unthinkable. In Atomic Iran, Jerome R. Corsi sounds a wake-up call to Americans to pay attention to the growing crisis and to hold U.S. politicians accountable for their relationships with and efforts on behalf of the Iranian regime. For years, the world community has labored to negotiate with Iran, all to no avail. The moment Iran has nuclear weapons, everything changes—for the worse.
Corsi is mostly known for his books against Democratic presidential candidates John Kerry and Barack Obama, that were published in the years of presidential elections.
Corsi has discussed topics that are considered conspiracy theories, such as the alleged plans for a North American Government, the theory that President Barack Obama is not an American citizen.
"Anti-Judaism is not at the heart of true Islam; this thesis is not central to the genuine religion of Islam." - This pretty much sums this book up. A less true statement could hardly be made. Islam for a start is not a religion but a supremacist political ideology that is the only way to talk about 'true' Islam. Secondly, the founder and writer of their holy book was an avowed anti-semite, this quite probably had something to do with the Jewish rejection of him as a prophet. So if any Muslims highest calling is to be like Mohammed then they would be doing a poor job of it without their anti-semitism. The history and political analysis of the time is fairly spot on but in seeking to explain secular motivations when there are none this author sails past the mark and calls into question everything else written, ironically falling into the same trap of unreality in which the Mullah's of Iran deliberately place themselves in.
This book pretty much covers the war in the middle east and how it came to be. It shows what both sides did to instigate this, and how this all could have been avoided. It includes such disturbing details about how bloody and terrible the war is, that i wouldn't recommend it, but the book still shows how the toll is taking on the soldiers. Political, Physical, however you want to describe this book, it still shows how the government officials from both sides try to sort this out.
This book basically is covering how the whole war with the middle east began, and what both sides did to instigate this, and how this all could have been avoided. But it includes such harsh details about how bloody and terrible the war is, and the toll it is taking on the soldiers. The war is as much political as it is physical, as government officials from both sides try to sort this out.
