Can We Live 150 Years?: Your Body Maintenance Handbook

Rate this book
The author applies a no-nonsense approach to dieting, exercising, disease treating, and other aspects of everyday life. Our looks, longevity, as well as our physical and mental conditions result from the way we eat, breathe, and take care of all our physical and psychological needs. The question is not limited to nutrition only, as is the case of dieting programs.

- Informacje do przemyślenia

- Lekarz – powietrze
- Lekarz – woda
- Lekarze – ciepło i chłód
- Lekarz – pożywienie
- Lekarz – rozum

I think there are better books on the subject out there.

It went to a point saying the same things as any other, no meat products, meditation and so on. But when it stated that you don't need sport and exercise to be HEALTHY not to lose weight - to be healthy, it started to make 0 sense.

Fyi, moderation is key.

Personally I think it may be hard for some people to follow all the directions of M. Tombak. But mainly those about organising everyday life and additional actions besides the food. Either way I can honestly recommend the food tips as I tried them on myself and when I got used to certain rules (which are not that complicated as they seem), I started to feel lighter and happier :)

A good book on health and lifestyle. Nonetheless, if I had to choose I would rather recommend The Tao of Health, Sex, and Longevity - much more persuasive and also more pleasant reading with similar ideas.

This is a mixed bag of hints, tips and old-wives tails regarding how to live a healthy life. I agree with a lot of what he says
