Cinderella Is Faking It

Delilah has four problems: No job, no money, no prospects - no orgasms.
The first three should be easy to solve, but all potential employers dig a little too deep into her previous boss.
When a mix-up gets her swept into a charity event in place of the famously reclusive Cordelia Montgomery—heiress to the Montgomery hotel fortune—Delilah finds herself roped into a new job overnight. A job that requires her to become someone else.
As Cordelia, she just has to wear pretty dresses, smile for the cameras, and try to withstand the annoyingly flirtatious enemy: August Beckett, CEO of Axent Hotels. Even though a single smile from him makes her heart race. Even though he makes her forget that she’s just playing pretend. Even though he might just be able to fix her fourth problem.
But reality and the past always find ways of catching up with you…

Beck has no interest in Cordelia Montgomery beyond her last name.
With Cordelia’s father resting six feet under, the ironclad foundation beneath the Montgomery hotel chain is finally crumbling. The old man’s will stipulates that his fortune must stay in the family—but anyone can marry into a family.
If Beck wants to get that 20-billion-dollar estate in a corporate merger, all he has to do is sweep a hermit heiress off her feet.
His plan to treat this as a mere business strategy starts to crack when the Montgomery girl is harder to charm than expected. Worse, she’s the one who’s charming him. As hard as she makes him work for it, she slips under his armor with her curious mind, her silly dances, and her unparalleled ability to catch him off-guard.
But nothing good could ever come from lying, right?

This book is so good! LIKE A LOT. It was similar to many books but also so different??? and I was hooked! It's not usually my thing, but I'd devour another book by the author! It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'd totally recommend it! I love it! And for a debut book, this book was awesome. It has such cute scenes! 🤭

Delilah and Cordelia – heiress to a hotel empire – crossed paths in a bathroom during a moment of panic for Cordelia. Del helped her out, and Cordelia, wanting to get away, asked for a swap of clothes. Surprisingly, they looked alike, so when Delilah stepped out, someone mistook her for Cordelia and whisked her off to a fancy dinner. There, she meets Beck, the CEO of Axent groups, who's scheming to marry Cordelia for her fortune. Cordelia strikes a deal with Delilah to pretend to be her for a while for public image.

➤ Delilah Edwards & August Beckett:

Delilah is such a cool character, and I loved her POVs so much. She's a cutie and I wasn't annoyed by her inquisitive behavior at all. 😭 Although some of her choices were not that nice, I really enjoyed reading about her. She has severe anxiety and overthinks every scenario. She's so blunt, and whenever Beck was like, 'TELL ME TO STOP,' she'd just tell him to STOP. She'd keep him on his toes and reject him again and again. She didn't even care about anything, and even though she was attracted to him, she wasn't horny for him at all. These things matter to me a lot. I don't know, but I'm seriously picky about books with horny characters 😭

Overall, I loved her responses so much and related to her a lot. It's like the author wrote about someone real.

August was a dick 😭 I mean I liked him, but he was so wrong for plotting to marry her for her fortune. I don't quite understand the morally grey hero trope for him, but he was TOXIC.

I like him because he never did anything bad to her or hurt her, in fact, he was quite nice, patient, and focused on consent and communication. He never judged her and did many swoon-worthy things 😭 He's flirty, amazing, and takes care of her a lot. It's just that all of it was a front for his ulterior motives, which was a constant nagging point in his thoughts 😂 But I did love how he was confused about his emotions. Whatever morally grey is my favorite color, and HE'S OBSESSED WITH HER. and he did his fair share of groveling too! 😌

This book actually had the 'I CAN'T ORGASM' cliche for about half of the book, and the reason is unknown. Del had huge anxiety, so it was hard for her to focus, and nobody ever cared enough to let her finish (yeah, 🤏🏻, and obviously, there's Beck for that). He lets her use his library, and she read so many books on sex topics and different kinks because she's basically a nerd. So, this goes on for a while until she finally focuses enough to shut her mind off. This was unnecessary, but still part of the book. Trust me, aside from this, the banter and scenes were great.

They didn't kiss or do anything until the 50% mark but had playful banter and super cute scenes. To sum up, I DIDN'T GET BORED AT ALL. Not once. IT EVEN HAS GROVELING. The groveling wasn't for months, but I still loved every effort Beck put into it.

➤ Some cute scenes:

📚 They do skincare together.
📚He gifts her 999 books on topics related to mermaids because she had a mermaid story in her mind and he wants her to write. (also she told him 1k books make a library so that 1 left was for her own book.)
📚 He gifted her a custom-made journal with designs according to the character of her story even though she randomly mentioned it at a party (he remembered 🥹).
📚 He gifts her page flags and pens of similar colors because she likes them.
📚 He cooks for her, and AFTER CARE SCENE.
📚 He's dominant, but she has all the power, and he'd just stop when she says STOP.
📚 A LOT OF CARING SCENES UGHHHHHWHS.

I just can't get enough of them. I enjoyed it so much! But the revelation of secrets weren't that great! I mean, I seriously expected something big, but I found out he knew everything all along, so I was shocked because his POVs were always plotting and scheming, and for readers, it was confusing because we're IN HIS MIND, and we are supposed to know that he KNOWS! This kind of made me furious lol.

➤ Cordelia Montgomery & Victor Yelchin:

I'm in love! 😭💕 I'M SO SO IN LOVE WITH BOTH OF THEM! I'm dying to get their book now! Cordelia's so amazing and cute!!!! I can't wait to read about her. Her backstory 🥹 She's traumatized and agoraphobic, but she's literally so smart. And VICTOR, HER GRUMPY SILENT PROTECTOR! 🤭

Victor and Cordelia had so much tension. He's her butler/driver/bodyguard or whatever she needs him to be, and he cares so much about her. He's a tattooed, muscular guy and he's literally emotionless but has a soft spot just for her. He chops the vegetables into impossibly smaller pieces just to sneak vitamins into her food because she's a picky eater and doesn't like veggies. HE ALSO KISSED HER ONCE, and I want to know everything 😭 hsjsshs I wanna cry because I can't wait for the next book, and Cordelia is gonna be RAPUNZEL.

“What? I like watching the Discovery Channel.”
“I watch her watch the Discovery Channel.” Victor shrugged.

“Married?” “No.”
“Kids?” “No.”
“College?” “No.”
“Kissed Cordelia?”
“Yes.” His knife came down in a hard chop and stayed down as his quick reply registered.

➤ Side characters:

I'm definitely rooting for Defne and Tabitha! I hope they get their own book! DEFNE AND ISAAC PLSSSS!! 😭♥️
Turkish x scottish – Doctor x Actress.

➤ The reason for 4 stars is,

• I actually didn't like how Del broke up with her nice boyfriend on the phone because Beck told her. In the beginning, Del is with another guy, and she likes him, and he's nice and all, but she doesn't have strong feelings for him and obviously, no orgasm and all. So, even though she wanted to break up with him in person, she broke up on a phone call, and he was never brought up again. It was just NOT nice.

• Beck also slept with another woman after Delilah broke up with her boyfriend. She let him touch her once, and he was turned on and just randomly went and slept with someone else. THEY WERE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP OR HAD ANY FORM OF COMMITMENT, and there was literally nothing between them, but still I DIDN'T LIKE THAT 😭 He should've stayed celibate, and Del also told him she'd have preferred if he hadn't done that.

• The angry sex scene in the ring 😭 What the fuck? hsskjsjs he regretted for that ahhaahah and damn that was supposed to be hot but she didn't even finish 🌚

• Julian was so creepy and a motherfucker. I'm glad Victor killed him. I thought Beck would be sad because his brother died but nahhhh! Also, Julian kept on telling him to force pregnancy on Del and then kill her like BITCH WTFFFFF! Thankgod Beck was never like him at all! and Brody should know about Julian, I don't like how she's still in the dark about the death of her father.

I was definitely not the target audience this book was intended to reach.
It had interesting side plots, yet was long winded.

I was just not interested in the ways in which Beck was going to help Del overcome her “bedroom” issues.

Sigh…..this started off SO good and had so much potential. I was loving it and couldn’t put it down….and then it crashed and burned. There was just so much wrong with this, way too many subplots, so many loose ends, and the crazy unbelievable plot twists were just too unrealistic and there was too many of them. I feel like the author is super talented, but fell prey to what a lot of new authors do which is trying to cram way too many things into the book. Half of the things that happened in this book could have been cut out and it would have been such a good romance.

This also had one of my greatest pet peeves. (SPOILER, don’t keep reading if you want to avoid!)

Which is that even though half the book was from Becks POV, we don’t find out until the very end that he apparently KNEW THE ENTIRE TIME that Del wasn’t Cordelia. Yet even though we WERE IN HIS HEAD this was somehow kept secret from the reader?!!! This is illogical on so many levels and was so freaking annoying. And it was revealed randomly in the most mundane no anticlimactic way. After this, o was just angry for the remainder of the book.

All of this being said, I do think this author is talented and with a bit of editing and time could write some really great stories. I enjoyed her writing style, the characters and dialogue was fun and kept my attention, and the beginning of the book was so freaking good. I will give her future books a shot, I just hope they go through some serious editing before putting out the final product

I'm struggling with this one. I think a loooot of people will enjoy this book and I think it will be very popular.
It has pretty good neurodivergent rep (combined with a MMC that has knowledge/time/expertise to help her get there) and, to be completely honest, bit of a wild plot.

That's my main issue here.
I think individual characters are well realized and well developed, but what the freakity frack is that plot I was like wtf when it all comes to head. Spoiler marked ahead.

Also I do not get the Cinderella aspect of it? Like, I feel crazy/dumb on this.
I might keep an eye out for the next and see how it goes if free on KU, but honestly... I just don't know.

In the billionaire romance Cinderella Is Faking It by Dilan Dyer, Delilah Edwards, an English teacher, and CEO August Beckett are the main characters.

Starting the book, I did feel iffy about it because August was a morally grey hero—I hadn’t read a book with one in a while, especially considering how crude he was with his brother about Del. However, he more than made up for that because he was hot, wealthy, and obviously well-versed in the art of seduction. I also liked Del's assertiveness and sense of power, and she and August were aware of that.

I also liked that this novel had a lot of secrets and twists and turns, so it wasn't simply pure romance. The smut scenes in this were EVERYTHING, so it was the perfect balance of everything.

However, it did seem as though several issues, such as Del's ex and the entirety of the Julian and Victor problem, were simply ignored and left unresolved.

Overall, for this being Dilan’s first book, it was amazing, with just the right amount of red flags and steamy but wholesome moments.

*Thank you to the author, Dilan Dyer, for providing me with this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.*

This book made me feel shit and had my heart in its clutches. (HE BOUGHT HER A PORSCHE!!!!)

When I first started the book and understood the premise of it/the characters' goals etc, I thought it would be similar to the movie How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. I was so excited and you know I loved it.

The character's had so much personality and were so easy to connect with, and the writing was immaculate. The mental health rep was honestly so spot on this author did amazing. I loved both characters and the OC so fucking much and this world was so cute.

Delilah's character was so amazing ugh. I loved her curiosity and her communication. She was so easy to love and understand and honestly I could read endlessly in her POV. Beck's character- I was SWOONING. I need more of him. His personality was honestly so there and real and he was so fine- o.m.g. He understood and cared for Delilah so freaking well. One unbelievable thing is that he is 38 though. Not a chance 😭😂.

I absolutely loved the research aspect to do with the BDSM and honestly, why do I feel like I learned so much??? I feel like this is what Ana and Christian should have done (LOL)- Fifty Shades of Grey ref. Also, I feel like we need more of this in BDSM books- scenarios where safe words are said and like he's normal about it and is nice and shit idk, but I love it because it shows actual love and pateince. Like Delilah needed her own pace and Beck REALLY gave her that which convinced me about them and had me sold.

The Cordelia and Victor snippets were everything. And the way Victor calls Cordelia and Delilah his family- I'm gonna cry.

When it came to the conflict, I was like wowzaz'ed away. Firstly, . Secondly, although it was random, I feel like it was less random than Twisted Love's one 💀 because at least it had relation to business and not like some vendetta shit which confused me as to whether it's contemporary or dark romance. Also, Overall it was not what I was expecting. I kind of thought it would be like the movie I mentioned above where they both discovered they were tricking each other simultaneously, then would argue but if I'm being honest, Beck is above that arguing shit, but it would have been cool.

Also there was barely any like guilt of tricking each other. Or like gradual build-up, as it usually occurs.

I think the third act break up went on for too fucking long. And 100 pages should have been more than enough for it but like fine. I feel like that conflict etc is what brought the book down because I honestly was loving it so fucking much.

One of the cutest couples ever, nevertheless.

I really loved this book! It will hold a special place in my heart! Yes, it was full of secrets and mysteries and spicy scenes, but I really loved the mental health and neurodivergent rep. Dilan did an amazing job in executing it perfectly through the eyes of Del and Cordelia.

CIFI is about Delilah and Beck. Delilah or Del, as she prefers, has a few problems she is dealing with at the moment. Whilst in the bathroom, of all places, she is introduced to Cordelia, who is having a panic attack and helps her out by changing clothes so Cordelia can make her escape. This chance encounter sends Del's world into a tail spin. From being mistaken as Cordelia, Cordeila offering her an opportunity she can't seem to refuse and then finally Beck. Although Beck has his own agenda in regards to Del.

Beck sees Del as a business opportunity. However, it grows into more than that once he really starts to get to know Del and really enjoys spending time with her. But that bubble quickly bursts when secrets are revealed....

Again, I really loved this book. Del was such a beautiful soul, and I loved her quirkiness and personality. I'm an overthinker, so I really related to Del in that regard. Del goes through a lot in this book but never loses herself and her spark. She comes out of it and is an even stronger and more amazing person. I love her old and new friendships. They all merged into a group that meshes well together. Her relationship with Beck was so cute. She was truly herself with him, and he was always so accepting of her and who she was as a person, quirks, and all.

Beck, I really did like him, I just wished he saw some people in his life for what they were and questioned their intentions sooner rather than later (or not at all until it was too late). Aside from the mistakes he made, he really was a really good match for Del. She flourished whilst with him and it was so lovely to see.

Please read this book!!!!! It was so good!!!! You won't be disappointed!!! I can't wait to read the rest of this series ❤️❤️❤️

Check trigger warnings as there are some dark elements in this book ⚠️

Thank you to Dilan for giving me the opportunity to ARC read for you. I really appreciate it!!! All opinions are my own 😊

I hated him. I felt like he was a piece of s*** using her that way and talking about what she let him do to her knowing she struggled with intimacy with her mother and brother. Having no guilt or remorse. I literally couldn't keep on reading because it was too much for me to stand it . Then I read the last part kind of quickly to see to give hope of a change but no it was still trash. Also in the blurb it was mentioned that she was going to have a relationship with someone at first but it wouldn't involve cheating once she starts mingling with the male protagonist. But guess what ? that doesn't happen she does cheats and he instigates her to cheat and break up with him over the fucking phone. Like c'mon yeah he wasn't the greatest boyfriend but still like I felt she didn't had any sympathy like at all she just straight up did what he told her to do and just go with it so yeah i didn't like that. I don't like when fcharacters are so submissive towards their companion like I hate that. I want respect from both sides. I dont like power play if not an adequate healthy balance.

I'm so mad because at first it started really good, felt promising and all and I honestly thought that it was going somewhere and then suddenly it flopped majorly and went straight downhill with no way to stop it.

Also one thing that got me so confused and I was like I'm reading this right? was when she reveals to him what happened with Roger. Like it's sort of felt like she suffered from rape or something violent with him but no that couldn't have been far away from the truth. Which I was so damn surprised because I thought that that was the reason of her being so fearful of intimacy and her not being able to orgasm was because of this whole issue. And I'm sorry but I feel like the author play with my emotions because she really instigated it and made it seem as that was what happened because there was always like a dark dark mood when Roger was mentioned or when she was faced with a situation of forced actions so I was hella confused. so at the end we never really know why then she was the way she was...

I hate toxic books and this one is hella toxic💩💩💩 I only give this 2 stars because of the somewhat originality ingenious idea that first hooked me on with the story but that's mainly the only good thing of the book....

what to expect :
•secret identity
•switching trope
•she is faking being recluse heiress x he wants to marry her for her inheritance
•morally grey MMC
•sex positively
•grey area cheating (not between the MMCs)

I liked some parts but had issues with others.
Delilah basically cheated on her boyfriend for Deck and well… I don’t tolerate cheating in any form so I highly dislike it. She could totally had break up with Parker before
I don’t like to see the MMCs having sex with other ppl on page and we had various sex scenes between Del and Parker (her boyfriend in the beginning). Also, she broke up with him by phone… yeah, nope.
Deck too had sex with other woman just bc he was “too attracted and turned on” by Del.
So yeah, this all bothered me A LOT.

I liked that Deck treated Del sex problems + anxiety problems seriously and always helped her with both issues.

I wanted more groveling and all. We had almost nothing.

It was an okay book for me but like I said I had a lot of issues with it.

A story that has Delilah the FMC in another persons shoes.
As she pretends to be someone else she meets Beck a CEO of his own company.
Delilah pretends to be this rich heiress to a hotel empire because Cordelia has arachnophobia.
Just when you think this story couldn't get any better it does.
So many twists and turns, along with those out to hurt one another financially and or to scam
Cordelia out of her money. This book leaves you wanting more, never a dull moment.
I absolutely loved this story so much, I can't wait to read book 2.

Thank you to Dilan for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

NOT DILAN COMING IN WITH ALL MY FAVORITE TROPES WHEW.

When Philippa Young posted about Dilan's upcoming WIP, I instantly ran to Dilan's IG and followed her because CIFI sounded right up my alley. I was lucky enough to get an ARC and I absolutely devoured it.

I love a morally grey MMC and Beck was 100% that. When the story started out, he wanted to get with and marry "Cordelia" in order to gain power over her wealth and advance his company that he shares with his brother. But Beck definitely got more than he bargained for with "Cordelia" - aka - Del. Del is assertive and knows what she wants and she knows exactly who can give it to her AYO.

The spice is beyond hot and I have a hard time believing this is Dilan's debut novel. It is definitely worth every single second. There is some content that may be triggering, so be sure to check the warnings prior to reading. But I HIGHLY recommend. I cant wait for *coughcordeliaandvictorcough*

I finally had my moment of: “Ah look at the pretty book cover, I bet the inside is just as cute.”

I’m flabbergasted in the best way possible. It gets infinity stars from me. The plot. The plot twist. It was phenomenal. I relate to Delilah so much. Overthinking, and anxiety, especially in public. I loved her character. I was completely consumed by this book. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love. (I legitimately cried at a s8x club scene.) I have to admit it isn’t at all what I expected it to be but it exceeded my every expectation, by far. (Please tell me Cordelia and Victor will get a book. I will beg if I have to.)

Now onto one of my favorite MMCs. Augustus Beckett. You, spicy, morally grey piece of perfection. OMG, the way I love him. Firstly, how he helped her overcome her biggest challenge, with such patience and adoration that I melted into a puddle. I know at first he used her, but it was so obvious that he was falling for her. Red is my favorite color. Also, the spice had me all over the place, if I tell you that the spice is fire, I’m not talking about a campfire.

Dilan, thank you so much that I was able to ARC read for you, this book will live in my heart forever. It means the world to me.

Favorite quotes:

I knew that feeling so well. When your heart raced, and your lungs ached, and your brain was caught in its own spiral - and it was so hard to snap out of it if nobody was there to help you.

Maybe his perfume was laced with pheromones because that would explain my clouded judgement. Yep . After a quick google search to legitimize my theory, I decided that Beck must have bought one of those pheromone perfumes, which actually existed, and that was the only reason I slipped my hand down my pants in a room full of strangers.

“I promise, it will only take a second, hun.” Hun. As in honey. As in, I had pretended to wipe honey off my nipples in front of him less than 24 hours ago.

Some fucked-up part of me already considered that woman on the sofa mine. Realistically, Del was far from agreeing to marry me anytime soon, but when Isaac touched her, that fucked-up part of my brain was roaring that he was touching my wife.

“Because you probably don’t talk to anyone the way you talk to me. Because you don’t like me enough to care about my opinion, which makes me the perfect person to talk to about orgasms and sex toys and your Jane Austen crush and the fact that you want white ducks at your wedding.”

No idea what happened in that 11am meeting, but I would be able to draw every dip of her legs from memory.

“We’re practicing because when I fuck you, I want you screaming in pleasure. Real pleasure. And we’ll practice again and again and again, until your overactive brain is completely shut-up and the only thing left on your mind is my name. Your first climax will only be the beginning of this. Understood?”

“if you ever touch yourself in my place again, I will tie you to my headboard and spank that tight ass until you’re begging me to fuck you.”

“No, I want to know everything about you.”

“Does the why matter? If you tell me, you want me to spank your ass until it’s raw , I will. If you tell me to choke you, I will wrap my hand around your throat and squeeze. If you tell me to lay you on a bed of rose petals and make sweet love you, I will. And if you tell me that the one thing that turns you on is getting fucked in a burning building , I will lay the world to ashes just to please you.”

as long as it’s consensual, sex doesn’t have to be logical. It just has to feel good.”

“I can’t wait to fill that gorgeous pussy with a whole load, Blondie. You’ll have my cum trickling down your thighs for days.”

“Good girl, keep going. You’re doing such a good job.”

“If he touches a single hair on your body,”

“That’s it, you’re taking me so well.”

“I’m patient with you because you keep pushing your own boundaries and it’s brave and it’s fucking breathtaking.”

“Sweetheart, you get to have any wedding you want as long as I’m the one waiting by the altar.”

first of all, i would like to thank Dilan Dyer for an advanced copy of this smutty book.

Cinderella Is Faking It is the first book in Princess Crossover series, and releasing soon - Sept 15

wohoooooo!!! this was surprisingly very hot 🥵 i went completely blind into this book, so i just didn’t expect that (i mean, look at the cover👀), but yeah this one was so good !!

i definitely loved the use of cinderella references here and Dilan Dyer also writes in a mesmerizing way that had me not wanting to stop reading.

this book was full of delightful & funny banter, steamy scenes, and interesting plot. i honestly enjoyed everything. i loved the characters as well.

this was a brilliant debut, and i really can’t wait for the next book and find out what’s happening in Princess Crossover universe.

i highly recommend this book to smut lovers out there, you’re not gonna want to miss this one 🩵

DNF around 60%
The book started off amazing. I was hooked and really liked the relatable protagonist. It had so much potential for being more than smut. But then labels start being misused or without them being explored. Plus having someone’s introduction to “safe” sex be through bdsm isnt healthy. Its problematic. A lot of the sex stuff gave me the ick because that shouldnt have worked for her. The plot starts falling apart as the book goes on and i just lost all interest.

For sure a spice>plot kinda read, but I actually think this could have been a 4-5 star read for me if the book had better editing. I went into this one for the spice, but found myself intrigued by the overarching plot a lot of the time. Even with all the things I didn’t love this was actually still a pretty fun read. Lots of mental health rep too mixed with a healthy dose of kink! For a debut, this wasn’t bad—if you like anything by Ana Huang, you’ll 100% love this one.

Der Plot und die Charaktere sind wirklich gut aber es gab ab und zu unangenehme 50 Shades of Gray Vibes, die die Stimmung zerstört haben. Ohne diese Szenen 4⭐️

The only good thing about this is the neurodivergent rep and the fact that the MMC, somehow, has the patience to know how to make our neurodiv FMC comfortable.

I can't begin to tell you how utterly dumb the plot of this book is.

I've tried 5 times to write it out and explain it and I just can't make it make sense. Suffice to say Del (our FMC) spends a summer pretending to be this rich heiress, and gets mixed up with Beck (our MMC) who's scheming to get the rich heiress to marry him so he can get his hands on her company. Only he's anti-monogamy, and tells Del who's a self-proclaimed picket-fence sort of person. Oh, yeah. And he knows the WHOLE TIME apparently that Del isn't the rich heiress. He's just fucking her around for funsies.

And his master plan? Oh yeah, he'd marry Del, and then ship the REAL rich girl off to an asylum somewhere never to be heard from again. Even though the idea of being with one woman forever gives him hives.

Oh, and there's this bizarre subplot about Del not being able to orgasm because she gets too in her head and so he teaches her by beating the everloving shit out of her so bad he leaves marks and bruises and she can't sit down for 3 days but it's okay because she says she loves it.

There's some other stuff...

Beck's older brother's a royal douchebag who's embezzling money and who's obsessed with impregnating Del against her knowledge or will. Their mother's just as bad (she's also in prison for murdering their dad, so). Del's old boss comes out of FUCKING NOWHERE and almost murders Beck and Del 80% of the way through the book, and we finally learn that the reason Del's jobless in the beginning of this story is, apparently, because old boss guy sexually assaulted her and she decked him before she was fired. Uh. Oh! And rich-girl's bodyguard/driver/maybe lover's also in the RUSSIAN MAFIA.

Look, I tried. I'm gonna leave my reader's notes because they'll explain the INSANITY much better than I can. Just be warned. I am NOT fucking happy in there. I didn't like this story. I didn't like any of the people in it. I don't even know why I finished this bullshit.

This book was stupid. It grossed me out. If you're just reading for the smut and you care about literally NOTHING else, this may appeal to you. Otherwise, I wouldn't friggin' bother.

This book was absolutely crazy with the spice and the plot and boy did it slap! I loved it! Plus Delilah and Cordelia’s friendship was adorable. I can’t wait for the next one!

I would say more in the direction of 2.5 ⭐️

But not because it was bad, but because it was way out of my comfort zone. I wasn’t aware what I was getting myself into.
I absolutely loved the Autistic Rep in this book. It felt so accurate and natural.
Just too much spice for my taste…
