Clever, full of lore and love, and wonderful for Halloween
I have grown to look forward to this author’s stories based on the holidays but I was surprised how much I loved this one!
The lore is amazing in here! I adore how she frames the world and background for both witches and vampires. Their conflict feels real and believable.
It took me a little bit to get into our main couple but that’s mainly because it’s a slow burn and it took its time. You learn about them as individual characters before you learn about them as a couple and it pays off!
Naturally, there’s plenty of spice and sugar in here but it’s delivered naturally and makes sense for our characters’ development.
Definitely a must read!

I loved this next instalment in the Seasons Readings series. The smut, the tension, the CHEMISTRY. And, Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE vampires and this was perfect Halloween-y goodness to read on the holiday. Highly recommend even outside of October.

Quick easy read with Halloween vamps vs. witches vibes while also having a decent plot! It amazes me how this author can fit good plot into such short books but she excels at this!

I went into this book so excited, but it ended up being definitely not what I was expecting .
I was over the moon thinking I'd found another book like Charming Your Dad, but no lol
I loved the characters and setting, but I felt the pace was inconsistent and a little redundant in the first half. It had so much potential to be a great book, but I felt it wasn't fleshed out very well.
Vlad, in the beginning, sounded like a no-nonsense daddy, but turned out to be a total marshmallow. I loved how he treated Bella right, but I don't know why, he just didn't hold that same sort of attraction as he was portrayed out to be.
Bella's powers could've been added gradually to the plot instead of all just exploding out towards the end. Felt like very chosen-one type cliché.
I get that this was a novella, but it could've been so much better with more of an actual plot instead of 70% of the book being about their daily routines.

I really enjoyed this book, but I thought the way her and the sons relationship ended was weird and not really believable- like why would he tell the truth about not wanting her if his plan was to usurp his dad. Anyhow, I loved Vlad- he was my fav character, the death skull on his hand, how he took no 💩 from anyone, and straight up merked anyone who displeased him 🤣🙌. Except for his "little witch". Belladonna was ok as a character, a little dumb or naive when it came to men or matters of the heart but I kinda understood too we all date jerks.

I WANT A BIG OLD VAMPIRE EX’S DAD. I’m married to the book cover! Hello it’s delivering 😩 I was so excited to read this, I read blurb and I was like YEP lemme eat this book up.
The man was out to kill her ok, his intentions were set but as soon as he saw her, he was like I can destroy everything for her 🤭 he gave her his ring but not any ring, a ring only the most powerful vampires wear and that has been passed down vampires for generations 🤭 I was blushingggggg and giggling. I need this vampire of a man, get me him. He brought and set everything for her, like her closet and her bathroom necessities, he increased the security of his mansion because he had someone to protect now STAWPPP I’m crying 😭 he never rushed her into anything and he was sooo respectful, kind, generous and patient with her. He became a cat lover because he had her attention when they were talking about cats 🤭🤭 someone please take a look at my heart, it’s beating so fast for Vlad. HE TATTOOED HER NAME ON HIS RING FINGER. Yall imma boutta bust, they were so cute, I giggled my way through this book.

THIS WAS SOOO F**KING GOOD!!!!! Even though it's a novella, honey, I'm SOLD! That's how good it is. The chemistry was mind-blowing, so much sexual tension and foreplay and only 1 worthy bedroom scene?! Someone please put out this fire!
I can't quite put my finger on it, but VLAD and BELLADONNA were exactly my type!! The vampire brooding, overly protective but possessive older alpha male with sexual magnetism, can cook a mean pasta, respects women and is so fucking honourable, not to mention deadly with his hands. Where as, Belladonna is the gorgeous yet powerful but super fucking sexy young witch who manages to bring the one powerful vamp to his knees.
I sooo wished this was a full length novel. Usually I dislike novellas because things are rushed but the pacing and the getting to know each other was on point, plus the sexual tension was the cherry on top!
OVERALL so far every novella written by this author is a hit for me, anddd I look forward to the upcoming 2025 Easter and St.Patrick's edition!! Wonder who we'll be looking at.

It's a difficult one to review because I loved the book. Honestly, it was refreshing, steamy with the perfect amount of dirty talking, a lovely relationship dynamic and sweet HEA but there were quite a few points I personally felt were lacking. The plot felt repetitive at times and Belladonna's age was evident in the way she conducted herself. It felt pick-me at times and often too childish and that's where the Age-gap was really evident. It took me out of the romance at times. Vlad however is the perfect husband. He would hang the moon in his yard for his wife but Belladonna's feelings matured for him a bit late for my liking. The Epilogue however was chef's kiss and I loved how finally she matured into a wife worth standing by Vlad's side, commanding love and respect. Overall it was a quick steamy Halloween read.

But every page delivered charm and heat. Vlad completely stole my heart (seriously, where do I sign up for one of him?), and the mate chemistry was chef’s kiss.

I loved this so much! My favorite Halloween read of the year! It's got rivaling witches & vampires which give it somewhat of a mafia vibe, the hidden & not-so-hidden obsession that Vlad has for Belladonna, lots of cats, lots of banter, & lots of swoony-angst-dirty talk & pining! This was such a fun read & exactly what I was looking for in a Halloween book. I couldn't stop thinking about this when I wasn't reading it. I also think this would be a great book to read even when it's not Halloween. It's an awesome book all around & I highly recommend it.

The age gap, arranged marriage tropes with the Halloween twist grabbed my attention right away. I’m a sucker for those tropes and Halloween is my favorite holiday!
I was scrolling through KU trying to find something and when I found this book I devoured it in one sitting. It’s an easy read that is high action so there was never time for me to get bored. The dynamic between Vlad and Belladonna showed their age difference but also showed growth and building a friendship outside of the romantic.
I would recommend this for a quick read but be aware of trigger warnings!

Great book
Oh my god. I could not put this book down. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
It was an epic love story between a witch and a vampire. There were many twists and turns in the story that kept you guessing g.
Vlad would do anything to save his wife even die for her.
They loved each other so much they would rather die than be left alone without each other.

Holy smokes this is SO GOOD! If you need some Halloween, witch and vampire themed enemies to lovers content and throw in some humor and vengeance vibes!
This has to be one of my favorites of Nicole’s books so far. I love that she writes it with some depth of what we know and creates a story with her own twist of witches and vampires.

Trick or treat
Trick or treat , I always love a little treat and that is exactly what this book is! It is the perfect length and makes you want to dive even further into this series' world! The characters are all so complex and I loved seeing all of the relationships! The plot was absolutely fantastic and I loved every second!

This is a treat!
I really liked this one! Halloween, witches, vampires, enemies to lovers. I love a good marriage of inconvenience. I wanted to highlight every “my wife” because I’m a sucker for it. Daddy Vlad, that’s all.

I loved this short book! It made me smile and tear up and kick my feet! Maybe I’m a sucker for these type of books. Pretty sure my vampire obsession started with Twilight but anyway… the banter, the tension, the growth of the characters!! It was delightful and I would read this every Halloween 😍
