Hello! I'm a multi-genre author living in the Pacific Northwest, but originally from Sydney, Australia.

I do love to write in several genres, but I'm focusing on Sci-Fi at the moment. I have way too many favorite authors to even attempt to choose one or two, although I suppose I can say that I like Andy Weir's style of writing and his original stories. In addition to writing, I try to fit in as much reading as I can, especially from authors I don't know or new authors.

I also love critiquing! I belong to a wonderful critique group and since COVID, we meet on Zoom, which is great since I moved away and can still keep in touch.

For something different, I have the first and second episode of an episodic short story, Double X, published and available on Amazon.

I hope you enjoy my writing, and if I can ever answer any questions, please contact me!

A excellent fast-paced book. I loved the premise of the story. An engineer manipulates DNA to bring back Neanderthals to cure cancer. What could go wrong? A very unique suspenseful creative plot. The authors writing is well written, multi dimensional characters and executed cleverly. I could see this on the big screen. Definitely read more by the author.

Thank you to BookSirens for this ARC. It was a good book - pacy, easy-to-read, a wide array of fab characters, and an interesting plot. I fell in love with Rock immediately! The way the different groups of people behaved felt unfortunately pretty realistic, and I found the story quite sad by the end. Some aspects seemed a little immature, but for the most part, I would absolutely recommend this book.

If you like science fiction that covers genetic manipulation with a side of suspense with government entities and family betrayal, this is the book for you. What if we could bring back Neanderthals? What if you manipulated genetics for the greater good but things go awry? These are questions are answered in this face paced science fiction story that starts out with a bang, literally, as scientists are shot when an unknown entity breaks into the lab.

Lucian, a genetic engineer was able to make Neanderthal embryos that have been supplemented with human DNA to complete their code. His theory is that Neanderthals have a genetic marker that can cure cancer. However, other entities discovered his work and stole the embryos as it was discovered the embryos have an accelerated growth rate.

Within months, the embryos have grown into teenagers and are being used for entertainment purposes as they are divided into teams to play the violent game of Neanderball. The race is on for Lucian, Marlowe (a female scientist and love interest) and their friends consisting of ex-military and those with questionable connections.

This story was fast past and the twists kept coming. The author did a great job of keeping the reader in the dark on who was really the bad guy. While I found Marlowe’s hot and cold commitment to Lucian romantically, her heart was in a good place; I really liked Lucian. His character showed growth. He went from a scientist playing around with genetics for a purely selfish reason to wanting to free the Neanderthals from the people who are forcing them to play the game.

I enjoyed this author’s writing style and the story she created. The story flowed and was easy to read. I will definitely read more of this author’s work.
