Rate this book
Just when Allen and the No-life Gamers think they’ve finally bought themselves some time to savor clearing of the Rank S dungeon, they receive a call for help from the Holy Land of Elmahl. The execution of the Pontiff of Daemonism has failed, and the capital has gone up in flames. Worse yet, just as the Gamers prepare to depart, reports begin pouring in about multiple invasions by the Demon Lord Army...

As Allen embarks on his latest adventure, he also finds himself confronted with the challenge of what it means to be a leader and learning to respect his friends’ wishes—even if it means allowing one of them to knowingly put their life on the line!

Not a huge fan of splitting off for side stories half-way through the book, but I understand the author is limited in how much they can cram into their word count

Good Read

Again I enjoyed reading this book. Liked the characters enjoyed the action and the fact more characters were introduced. But again I think the sidestories could of been placed in the book itself and not tacked on the end. Especially 50-60 pages. Maybe try 1 sidestory of 4-5 pages. Again this is on the publisher and editor not the author. You just keep turning out the pages

A decent read, but splitting up the party (in general I am not a fan of constant switching points of view) and a lot of side stories about characters I don't care too much about made it at times a bit of a struggle to read through. It also raises all kind of questions on why the world has not been conquered by the demon lord, even more so than earlier volumes. I hope there is a reason beyond the demon lord being overly cautions. Not the worse in the series, not the best either.

Too many side stories

This one was off the mark of the last 6 for me. It had way too many side stories and ended at a terrible spot, considering the author takes forever to publish a volume. Hopefully, the next one will stay on plot.

Once again, Allen and the gang head off to war. Except the demon lord army is finally beginning to change things up. Using something stolen, they sent one city afire, and so chaos on the entire continent. This time, there's no wave of demon lord's soldiers, just poor transformed humans. And apparently a very strong opponent waiting for Allen

I did not give this one five stars however, because I do not like changing perspectives. I have almost never liked it in the books I read. Other than that though, just the uniqueness of the situation gives it a high score. This is still a really great book and I can't wait to read the entirety of the 8th book that's coming out now. I definitely want to see if our ex-wilder is going to be okay, and if he really will master his extra skill.
